"De eerste 10 die ik ooit heb gegeven maar dit verblijf is het meer als waard! De gastheer en gastvrouw zijn ongelooflijk warm en doen er alles aan om je verblijf aangenaam te maken! Zij denken aan alle details en helpen je met plezier, wij voelden ons vanaf minuut 1 welkom. Het eten was heerlijk en de cocktails waren super lekker. De kamer was prachtig en had een prachtige buitendouche. Het verblijf is nog mooier als op foto en ik raad het iedereen aan voor een verblijf in Rio Dulce/Livingston. Maja en Dino wij danken jullie heel hard voor dit prachtige verblijf!"

"Das Zimmer war überraschend groß und modern eingerichtet – man merkt sofort, dass alles neu ist. Besonders schön: die tolle Ausstattung mit Espresso-Maschine und kostenlosem Kaffee. Auch das Bad war sehr geräumig und hochwertig gestaltet. Über die Terrasse mit eigenem Strandkorb hatte man einen wunderbaren Blick Richtung Bodden – perfekt, um abends den Tag ausklingen zu lassen"

Das Zimmer ließ sich trotz der Verdunkelungsmöglichkeiten nur bedingt abdunkeln, da durch die Milchglastür früh Tageslicht hereinkam. Bei der Ankunft war es zudem recht staubig, was etwas den ersten Eindruck trübte. Außerdem war der Kaffeeweißer aufgrund der hohen Luftfeuchtigkeit auf der Insel hart geworden.

"Exceptional staff that turn this hotel into an unforgettable getaway. The whole place truly transports you somewhere else. The staff, coming from all over the Caribbean, were incredibly warm and friendly, making our stay feel genuinely special. The owner was fantastic—always present, talking with us, sharing stories, and really bringing them to life. It has been a delightful trip and a wonderful stay. We travelled with kids and it was the perfect set up. There are no real windows (only blinds and mosquito nets), so when the kids got loud, the neighbors could hear us. However room ventilation is really good, as there is a nice breeze at night. The location is also very convenient, well connected to both the north and the south. The food was surprisingly very good for a 4 night stay, breakfast was delicious. The pool and surroundings are wonderful. Would stay here every time I go back to Dominica."

The beach sand was a bit uncomfortable with lots of rocks and twigs.

The shower I used was really small.

"Just generally one of those special places that will stick in my memory forever. A collection of pretty little cabins by the beach surrounded by palm trees with hammocks slung between them for whiling away the days. With only the sounds of birds and waves. Where everyone just hangs out and chats, the staff, the other guests, the extremely interesting and gregarious owner Gregory (no pun intended). I could spend a week here just forgetting about the outside world. The various arrangements (airport transfer, transfer back to town, activities) all went smoothly as well. Which is my no means guaranteed in this part of the world."

Not much but if I went again I'd maybe pay a little more for the room with ensuite shower rather than sharing a communal shower with non locking door. Obviously this is budget accommodation in West Africa so it's of the rustic eco lodge variety rather than the western style hotel room variety in case anyone is expecting that.

"Ligging zeer rustig aan de golfbaan dichtbij de luchthaven. Mooie nieuwe kamers met alle voorzieningen en uitzicht over de golfbaan. Gratis parkeren. Vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel en goed restaurant voor prima prijs. Wat wil je nog meer?"

"I had the most wonderful stay! The island was so incredibly picturesque, my chalet dreamy, the food phenomenal and Annarine and Rodney were absolutely gems! I felt so very safe and well minded. The wifi in the restaurant was top notch. Will definitely be back again soon! 🩷"

Het is een sportcomplex. Dus niet heel gezellig. Maar dat wisten we bij het boeken.

"The property is very welcoming, with professional and helpful staff. Upon arrival, I was pleasantly surprised with a room upgrade, which I really appreciated. The swimming pool was closed for two days, but the hotel kindly removed the related charges. At breakfast, I would suggest adding kiwi and avocado, which I personally missed. The beach, gym, leisure facilities, and overall atmosphere are beautiful and relaxing. The sea is simply stunning! 🌊"

"Prachtige botanische tuin, mooie ruime kamers en schoon. Vriendelijk personeel, maken graag een praatje bij het diner. Mooi restaurant met geweldige curry’s op de kaart en in de ochtend een top ontbijt. Mooie gym, veel parkeergelegenheid. Ruimte en rust en een lekker bad in de badkamer. Tip: ga paardrijden of moutainbiken in Mlilwane park, 15 minuutjes rijden."

Ligbedden bij zwembad voelen dun aan, snel een houten rug. Een dikker matras lijkt mij fijner.

"Nice calm resort well eqiupped spa, large rooms, great food, drink as well.. What is on top level is staff, in particular super nice lady at reception, always ready to help, moving you immediatelly to relaxing mood on arrival. Hope landlord is well aware having such a treasure in the team."

Not the hotels fault directly but the rush to catch our flight due to the 3rd party flight company flying us to the airport made an addition stop on the way to the airport.

"- Mooie hut in een prachtige bergomgeving; - Zeer goedkope accomodatie; - Ontbijt en avondeten te nuttigen in plaatselijk restaurant (kleine meerprijs); - 15 minuten rijden naar nationaal park Prokletije;"

- Eigenlijk niets. Verwacht uiteraard geen grote luxe.. maar dat weet je op voorhand. Een kleine tv had misschien leuk geweest.
