Luxe tenten op Réunion

"Niet alleen het verblijf zelf, maar ook alle andere activiteiten overtroffen onze verwachtingen. Zo werd het eten op een hele bijzondere manier geserveerd en is de spa heel erg mooi ingericht. De locaties waar je kon eten waren ook heel erg mooi en hadden altijd iets extra's zoals een mooi vuur. Via WhatsApp was Adrian heel erg goed bereikbaar en we werden heel erg snel geholpen bij vragen. De accommodatie vraagt om hele relaxte dagen, we zaten letterlijk in onze eigen bubbel."

"The entire setup was gorgeous. Felt like a true camp. They added a lovely touch by providing big kettle in a common area which was on simmer heat with unlimited Jordanian tea. We opted for a dinner as well which was extra. Dinner buffet had a nice selection of salads and dips. They only offered one lamb, one chicken and one rice with potatoes dish. Lamb was delicious from a buffet standard. Chicken was too dry which was a shame as falvour was nice. Rice and potatoes were decent too. Only thing is they should include atleast water in buffet as standard. Lastly location seems be right on the edge of wadi rum dessert. It's about 40 mins drives from wadi rum village."

We had a buddle tent. It was modern and looks very elegant. However the floor of bubble tent was a bit dusty. I am not sure weather this was because of lack of cleaning or bubble tents are not perfectly sealed. Other than that our bathroom had no shower certain. So when one person took a shower entire bathroom got flooded. They did provide us with a floor wiper when we requested it. If they install a shower certain or shower glass, this bathroom would be perfect. Lastly we didn't get hot water. Apparently, you need to request the reception who then switch on the boiler. Given there are no phones inside the room, one has to go all the way to reception to get hot water turned on.

"A great place to stay, great beaches, pristine and clean. Close enough to the National park for us to make a few visits. Lovely helpful staff, could not be nicer. Well worth the journey there."

There was nothing that I didn’t like. I would offer a suggestion that a mosquito net is put over the bed.

"Als je naar IJsland gaat moet je wel in een Dome hebben geslapen. Het is echt heel tof! Goede voorzieningen met hottub."

Temperatuur ging niet altijd heel makkelijk, bij aankomst 30 graden wat enorm warm was. Gezet naar 20 graden en dat was fris.

The road to get to the lodge was in terrible shape.

"Everything from the transfer drive in the lodge 4x4 and boat hop to the island was first class. Our tented accommodation was superb. Loved the outside shower (there is an internal shower). The included game drives and river cruise were fantastic and our guides were friendly and informative. Hippos in the river close by, monkeys in the trees. You really feel you are in the bush. Food, superb. Service, superb. Full stocked mini bar. Seating area around the fire pit, amazing. I could go on all day with positives. Highly recommend 👌"

"wat een prachtige plek in de Wahibi desert. Wij zijn heel hartelijk ontvangen, genoten van een prachtige kamer en een heerlijk buffet en ontbijt."

op de foto is het eerste wat je ziet een zwembad. Er is echter maar 1 villa die dit heeft.

"I was in Siwa with friends. This trip was exceptional, I met wonderful people. The owner, Ahmed, was an exceptionally wonderful person. He asked us every day if we needed anything."

"Een droomplaats, aan een prachtig strand! Ja, er zijn slechts 2 toiletten en douches maar dat vergeet je gewoon... je kan je trouwens ook lekker afspoelen onder de buitendouche. Camperen is natuurlijk altijd wat vermoeiend, zeker als de nachten warm zijn, maar bij Jungle Camping is er maximaal schaduw gecreëerd met doeken en vooral met wijnranken. Heel aangenaam om onder al dat groen te zitten aan de tafeltjes bij de bar voor een sterke koffie 's morgens of een rakija 's avonds. De camping wordt uitgebaat door een zeer vriendelijke en behulpzame familie. Je kan een Sup board huren, perfect op de kalme zee. Ga zeker eten bij Ohana (amper 10 minuten te voet) en geniet van een heerlijke maaltijd en een onvergetelijke zonsondergang."

Not a problem with the campsite: there is 8 km unpaved road only to this place.
