Inrichting is sober. Onze tweepersoonskamer waren in feite twee eenpersoonskamers achter elkaarmet elk 1 bed. Nogal veel lawaai van een apparaat onder ons raam.

Het centrum is wat ver gelegen. Bus gaat een tot 2 keer per uur.

Er waren overdag werkzaamheden die wat geluid maakten maar aangezien we voornamelijk in de stad waren hadden we hier weinig last van.

"Doba and his family were exceptionally welcoming, outgoing, and fun. We spent three nights at chez doba, and went on two hikes each day, to different waterfalls, viewpoints, and villages. In the evening we played football with the children and drank beer and tea with the locals. Special shoutout to Amadou, our guide for our stay - a great guy! Highly highly highly recommend Campement Chez Doba to anyone visiting Senegal, its been the highlight of our trip. We also booked onto an extra trip with Doba to tour a nearby bedik village, which was very picturesque! Doba Tours also offers other tours around Senegal, including Dakar and Niocolo Koba National Park, which we didnt use, but heard good things from other guests. The food was good and the bedrooms were clean and comfortable!"

De ligging was verder uit het centrum dan ik ingeschat had. Openbaar vervoer is niet zo best.

"A Pleasant Surprise at Palm Garden! We booked Palm Garden without checking any reviews—only afterward did we take a look and feel a bit unsure. My husband even told me not to say anything about the booking, just to see how it was when we got there. But to our surprise, from the moment we arrived, everything was wonderful. At the doorstep, we were greeted by Madu at reception, who welcomed us with the warmest smile—as if we had known her for years! 😊 Our room was spotlessly clean, very spacious, with a large comfortable bed and a lovely balcony overlooking a beautiful view. It was clear that the staff really care about maintaining a high standard."

We feel in family! :-) Kelly is so helpful and talkative, always able to give suggestions and help finding activities to do, contacts, etc. His son, Junior, went with us to many places and activities and we fell him like a younger brother! :-) All the family made us feel welcome and at "home far from home". Installations are simple, but in a nice location, in the countryside, quite and friendly place, not far from Goroka center/easy bus connections but we have everything we needed, even to cook our meals. If you want a simple and family place to stay, with someone who will help you around, this is the place! If once I go back PNG and Goroka, I'll stay here again! :-) Thanks Kelly, Junior and family! Hope to see you again!"

It's normal to have light and water cuts. But it's common in the region/general problem and not from the place.

"Het makkelijk in- en uitchecken, de fijne kamers en bedden, de schone douches en wc's en de locatie van het verblijf net buiten Vik. Een heerlijke plek om allerlei bezienswaardigheden in de omgeving te bezoeken."

Een van de weinige plekken waar ik geen latte met havermelk kon bestellen :-)
