"Een droomplaats, aan een prachtig strand! Ja, er zijn slechts 2 toiletten en douches maar dat vergeet je gewoon... je kan je trouwens ook lekker afspoelen onder de buitendouche. Camperen is natuurlijk altijd wat vermoeiend, zeker als de nachten warm zijn, maar bij Jungle Camping is er maximaal schaduw gecreëerd met doeken en vooral met wijnranken. Heel aangenaam om onder al dat groen te zitten aan de tafeltjes bij de bar voor een sterke koffie 's morgens of een rakija 's avonds. De camping wordt uitgebaat door een zeer vriendelijke en behulpzame familie. Je kan een Sup board huren, perfect op de kalme zee. Ga zeker eten bij Ohana (amper 10 minuten te voet) en geniet van een heerlijke maaltijd en een onvergetelijke zonsondergang."

Eigenlijk helemaal niks

"My son and I spent three weeks traveling around Puerto Rico and this was a wonderful addition to our trip. I love Pitahaya's focus on sustanability and eco traveling, the exclusion of single use water bottles (BRAVO) and attention to composting and recycling. This is something rarely seen on the island and greatly needed. The mattress in the tent was very comfortable and I absolutely loved showing under the stars. A great way to camp if you are unable to bring your personal camp gear or are simply looking for a more comfortable camping experience."

The main light in our tent would only last for a few seconds. We weren't aware that it was motion activated and that made it challenging to play board games and read at night.

op de foto is het eerste wat je ziet een zwembad. Er is echter maar 1 villa die dit heeft.

"De locatie van het tentenkamp midden in de woestijn, de stilte, de natuur... alles was onbeschrijflijk. Het tentenkamp was van alle faciliteiten voorzien. Het was een ongelooflijke ervaring (brood bakken in het vuur, op woestijnduinen lopen). Het eten was ook heel lekker. Het personeel was heel vriendelijk. Mede dank aan onze chauffeur was het zo een onbeschrijflijke ervaring!"

"Everything from the transfer drive in the lodge 4x4 and boat hop to the island was first class. Our tented accommodation was superb. Loved the outside shower (there is an internal shower). The included game drives and river cruise were fantastic and our guides were friendly and informative. Hippos in the river close by, monkeys in the trees. You really feel you are in the bush. Food, superb. Service, superb. Full stocked mini bar. Seating area around the fire pit, amazing. I could go on all day with positives. Highly recommend 👌"

Nothing I didn’t Like

"Het concept, de inrichting van de tent, het zeer lekkere eten, de faciliteiten en het personeel dat er alles aan doet om je in de watten te leggen"

De weg naast het terrein is ‘s morgens al vrij druk bereden door vrachtwagens, ‘s nachts was er nog lang lawaai uit andere tenten, de pomp van de vijver maakt ‘‘s nachts heel veel geluid, er zijn dingen aan vervanging toe zoals de badjassen en de ligstoelen.

We honestly cannot understand some of the negative comments regarding the food, as our experience was excellent in every aspect. If you are looking for tranquility, stunning desert scenery, and warm hospitality, this is the perfect place. We would return anytime!"

"New, comfortable room with private bathroom. Very comfortable bed. Shared fully equipped kitchen. Good internet. Quiet in a safe district. 15 min in the bus number 10 or 12 to the city center. Alice, the owner who lives there, is very nice and helpful. She booked a taxi for us and woke up at 5.30a.m. to be sure that the taxi arrived. Excellent quality for a good price."

It is number 1 on the intercom when you arrive there. it is not written Conforto.

"It was very clean, hot water in the shower, very nice stuff."

"Als je naar IJsland gaat moet je wel in een Dome hebben geslapen. Het is echt heel tof! Goede voorzieningen met hottub."

Temperatuur ging niet altijd heel makkelijk, bij aankomst 30 graden wat enorm warm was. Gezet naar 20 graden en dat was fris.

maybe fresh seasonal fruit platter for breakfast as some photos show on their website, but, the muesli and little fruit, apple juice and coconut milk was very adequate
