Luxe tenten in Jordanië

"Nice place by the river and mountains in the middle of nature, double room with the shower and toilet. Friendly staff."

Not a problem with the campsite: there is 8 km unpaved road only to this place.

"A great place to stay, great beaches, pristine and clean. Close enough to the National park for us to make a few visits. Lovely helpful staff, could not be nicer. Well worth the journey there."

"De locatie van het tentenkamp midden in de woestijn, de stilte, de natuur... alles was onbeschrijflijk. Het tentenkamp was van alle faciliteiten voorzien. Het was een ongelooflijke ervaring (brood bakken in het vuur, op woestijnduinen lopen). Het eten was ook heel lekker. Het personeel was heel vriendelijk. Mede dank aan onze chauffeur was het zo een onbeschrijflijke ervaring!"

Temperatuur ging niet altijd heel makkelijk, bij aankomst 30 graden wat enorm warm was. Gezet naar 20 graden en dat was fris.

De twee tenten waren erg ver uit elkaar

"Sammy was echt super behulpzaam en aardig. Het eten was heerlijk en de tour was leuk. De tent zelf was een mooi ervaring om mee te maken maar wat echt bij me bleef was het personeel."

"New, comfortable room with private bathroom. Very comfortable bed. Shared fully equipped kitchen. Good internet. Quiet in a safe district. 15 min in the bus number 10 or 12 to the city center. Alice, the owner who lives there, is very nice and helpful. She booked a taxi for us and woke up at 5.30a.m. to be sure that the taxi arrived. Excellent quality for a good price."

It is number 1 on the intercom when you arrive there. it is not written Conforto.

"The entire setup was gorgeous. Felt like a true camp. They added a lovely touch by providing big kettle in a common area which was on simmer heat with unlimited Jordanian tea. We opted for a dinner as well which was extra. Dinner buffet had a nice selection of salads and dips. They only offered one lamb, one chicken and one rice with potatoes dish. Lamb was delicious from a buffet standard. Chicken was too dry which was a shame as falvour was nice. Rice and potatoes were decent too. Only thing is they should include atleast water in buffet as standard. Lastly location seems be right on the edge of wadi rum dessert. It's about 40 mins drives from wadi rum village."

We had a buddle tent. It was modern and looks very elegant. However the floor of bubble tent was a bit dusty. I am not sure weather this was because of lack of cleaning or bubble tents are not perfectly sealed. Other than that our bathroom had no shower certain. So when one person took a shower entire bathroom got flooded. They did provide us with a floor wiper when we requested it. If they install a shower certain or shower glass, this bathroom would be perfect. Lastly we didn't get hot water. Apparently, you need to request the reception who then switch on the boiler. Given there are no phones inside the room, one has to go all the way to reception to get hot water turned on.

"Een droomplaats, aan een prachtig strand! Ja, er zijn slechts 2 toiletten en douches maar dat vergeet je gewoon... je kan je trouwens ook lekker afspoelen onder de buitendouche. Camperen is natuurlijk altijd wat vermoeiend, zeker als de nachten warm zijn, maar bij Jungle Camping is er maximaal schaduw gecreëerd met doeken en vooral met wijnranken. Heel aangenaam om onder al dat groen te zitten aan de tafeltjes bij de bar voor een sterke koffie 's morgens of een rakija 's avonds. De camping wordt uitgebaat door een zeer vriendelijke en behulpzame familie. Je kan een Sup board huren, perfect op de kalme zee. Ga zeker eten bij Ohana (amper 10 minuten te voet) en geniet van een heerlijke maaltijd en een onvergetelijke zonsondergang."

"Amazing remote location but still easily accessible! Like a barefoot oasis where everything felt very personal and intimate. The rooms are stunning, facing the river. At night it felt like being one with nature. Will highly recommend to all my friends and family!"

"Tropical paradise. The resort is accessible only by boat and up against a national park with lots of lemurs. We were there for five days, four nights in a beachfront bungalow with private facilities. Sun lounges under coconut palms. Local seafood at the restaurant. Hardly any other guests. Affordable for budget travelers."

"Evererythink was perfect, night of my life but you must be with someone who you ❤️... jacuzzi perfect view, fresh air, like in spaceship... no bad neighbours.... etc etc 8 min walk from barscarsija .... etc etc ❤️"

"Great host, with good energy, who picked me up from quay. His accommodation was only 10 minutes away. I slept in a tent with a very good, firm mattress. Not soft. In the afternoon it can be hot in the tent, so this makes it difficult to do a nap. A camping stove is available, so this was very welcomed. Onside a nice relaxing beach, where you can enjoy the water with paddling, just swimming or gaze at the ocean. During the night this area was quiet. Bathroom is near the house and supplies cold and hot water. He knows where to get good food, and cheap transport. A mosquito net may be handy next time. I really recommend this place."

"Our stay at Regency Sealine Camp was absolutely wonderful from start to finish – it was exactly what we were looking for.
