Luxe tenten in Mozambique

"Amazing remote location but still easily accessible! Like a barefoot oasis where everything felt very personal and intimate. The rooms are stunning, facing the river. At night it felt like being one with nature. Will highly recommend to all my friends and family!"

"De locatie van het tentenkamp midden in de woestijn, de stilte, de natuur... alles was onbeschrijflijk. Het tentenkamp was van alle faciliteiten voorzien. Het was een ongelooflijke ervaring (brood bakken in het vuur, op woestijnduinen lopen). Het eten was ook heel lekker. Het personeel was heel vriendelijk. Mede dank aan onze chauffeur was het zo een onbeschrijflijke ervaring!"

"My son and I spent three weeks traveling around Puerto Rico and this was a wonderful addition to our trip. I love Pitahaya's focus on sustanability and eco traveling, the exclusion of single use water bottles (BRAVO) and attention to composting and recycling. This is something rarely seen on the island and greatly needed. The mattress in the tent was very comfortable and I absolutely loved showing under the stars. A great way to camp if you are unable to bring your personal camp gear or are simply looking for a more comfortable camping experience."

The main light in our tent would only last for a few seconds. We weren't aware that it was motion activated and that made it challenging to play board games and read at night.

"The staff were Really friendly and helpful,the food was delicious ,it’s situated on a Beautiful Beach Great chill out area upstairs,hammocks,Bar,a lot of lovely Nicaraguan people,What more could you want ?"

It had to be expected but the rain falling on the tent made it hard to sleep, otherwise everything is good !

"Very nice view onto the valley and the volcano. We were watching the stars and shooting stars from the very comfortable bed. Although it was cold outside, the blankets and heater keep you warm. The jacuzzi was nice as well."

The water in the jacuzzi is warm but not hot, but it wasn’t bad and totally acceptable for being in the middle of nowhere.

"Russell en Verena zijn de eigenaren en geweldige mensen waar we een heel plezierige tijd mee hebben doorgebracht. De logde is kleinschalig en de tenten zijn prima. Ligging in de bush is geweldig. Nog een groot voordeel is de kookkunst van Verena. Werkelijk fantastisch!!"

The food at dinner could be much better - like simple and fresh. Our guide on game drives delivered at the end but was not inspiring or dedicated

"Nice place by the river and mountains in the middle of nature, double room with the shower and toilet. Friendly staff."

Not a problem with the campsite: there is 8 km unpaved road only to this place.

"A great place to stay, great beaches, pristine and clean. Close enough to the National park for us to make a few visits. Lovely helpful staff, could not be nicer. Well worth the journey there."

"My stay at Para un poquito was wonderful, the hosts Flor and Joel are very welcoming, nice and helpful in any situation, they know and love the place. The situation right on the beach is idyllic, you literally go out of your room and are on the beach. I'd definitely recommend this place."

keuken was vies en rommelig, niet genoeg plek om af te wassen. wc’s en douches waren erg ouderwets en basis, maar ging ok.
