"Location stunning / staff lovely / food fantastic / pool lovely / bungalow just right / other cabins were stunning but wasted on us for a few nights so we just had a bungalow"

"Heerlijk Resort, groot verwarmd zwembad. Ook met gratis ligbedden op het mooie strandje aan de andere kant van de weg (bereikbaar via tunnel of oversteekplaats). Gratis ruime bewaakte parkeergelegenheid. Lounge met snacks en heerlijk gebak etc. Op loopafstand van de Nightmarket in Kenting (5 minuten lopen naar het begin). Veel faciliteiten, oa SPA en talloze dingen om te doen voor kinderen of volwassenen."

"The hotel is great and in an amazing location which is right inside the airport. Staff were polite and amazing, great buffet breakfast, there is mini zoo which had wildlife such as monkeys, crocodile, tortoise, parrot, ostriches, peacocks etc. The rooms and facilities was great and it was a great stay. They provided free shuttle to the airport which is a bonus."

The pool could do with a bit of cleaning.

"The stay at Scrub Island was amazing. The hotel is super comfortable, the bed was great, and the rooms are big and clean. The employees were super helpful.l, especially the manager, Raj, willing to walk the extra mile to help us."

The furniture is a little outdated. The room service could add more variety to their menu.

Het allinclusive gedeelte het eten viel ons tegen.

"Ligging, karakter van hotel hoe ze met natuurbehoud en recycling omgaan. Meest nog dat het hotel werk biedt aan mensen met een medisch rugzak(je)."

Badkamer had iets schoner gekund.

"The breakfast was good and well balanced. The place has very beautiful villas. I like the privacy that the place provided. Great views. Great scenery Staff are very kind and professional. Language is a barrier especially if you are an English speaker. Very clean place. Great music at the La Marine restaurant. Great restaurant staff. Great food"

Despite the well balanced breakfast, I ate the same breakfast for the entire period of my stay. This was predictable and monotonous . The breakfast was standard, meaning that I had no choice in terms of portion, variety and pricing. I expected to find cooking pots and utensils in the kitchen to allow me the option of cooking and preparing anything . I wish the hotel provided information on places to be visited within the vicinity and information regarding the most recent COP29

"A fun and colourful resort close to Grenada airport. We stayed here for a few nights at the start of our trip to Grenada and really enjoyed our stay. The room was spacious and reasonably comfortable; it had nice doors out with direct pool access and even had a small kitchenette. The grounds of the hotel are well thought out and it's nice to have the choice of pools, each with different views and vibes! The restaurant is great and we had some delicious meals, "Street Food Wednesday" was a highlight of our trip! There was also a wide range of tours and activities; we did a full island tour which was really worth it."

There are limited amenities near this hotel - other than the university, there is no town/restaurants/beach to walk to. The hotel was great and organizing taxis however and there is a free shuttle to the beach!

Luide muziek uit een andere lokatie aan welfare road. Doordat wij 2 slaapkamers hadden, was het voor ons mogelijk om de slaapkamer aan zee te kiezen. Hier hadden wij geen geluidsoverlast

De reservering was niet direct bekend bij inchecken, dit gaf vertraging. De wifi viel tegen, de TV had slechts een paar lokale kanalen die werkten.

"I can’t think of anything I would change (and I don’t say that often). Our stay was full of little details and the service was impecable. The room is beyond confortable, and everything was peaceful and beautiful. Loved the Food at Omakase, not so much at Ike’s bistro (except breakfast, which was delicious and with great variety) Other than that absolut perfection."

I just wouldnt recommend dinner at Ike’as bistro, but the other restaurants Were delicious! Omakase is outstanding for a great Price.

"Das Zimmer war überraschend groß und modern eingerichtet – man merkt sofort, dass alles neu ist. Besonders schön: die tolle Ausstattung mit Espresso-Maschine und kostenlosem Kaffee. Auch das Bad war sehr geräumig und hochwertig gestaltet. Über die Terrasse mit eigenem Strandkorb hatte man einen wunderbaren Blick Richtung Bodden – perfekt, um abends den Tag ausklingen zu lassen"

Das Zimmer ließ sich trotz der Verdunkelungsmöglichkeiten nur bedingt abdunkeln, da durch die Milchglastür früh Tageslicht hereinkam. Bei der Ankunft war es zudem recht staubig, was etwas den ersten Eindruck trübte. Außerdem war der Kaffeeweißer aufgrund der hohen Luftfeuchtigkeit auf der Insel hart geworden.

Nothing to not like.

"I have never been to a Taj before, so I have nothing to compare it to. The lobby is impressive and the location with direct access to the beach is great. The staff is lovely and the housekeeping do so much for you, Saudtha I believe, checked on us regularly and brought us more water or towels."

When a twin is converted into a double room, one of the guests end up without space to put their things and the light switches are at the wrong place.

"De kamer was altijd erg netjes. Complimenten voor de schoonmakers en de mensen die het resort onderhouden want het resort zag er altijd heel verzorgd en schoon uit. Kidsclub is erg leuk voor de kleintjes."

De service van de frontdesk/receptie vonden wij tegenvallen. Er was ook nooit iemand aanwezig die Engels sprak. Dit maakte de communicatie wat lastig. De layout van het resort is niet optimaal. De kidsclub en het kinderzwembad liggen aan de hele andere kant van het resort. Het is een beetje weggestopt. Op het resort rijden er treintjes/autotjes rond voor de kids. Hiervoor moet flink betaald worden willen zij hier gebruik van maken.

"De medewerkers zijn echt heel behulpzaam en netjes. Ze kunnen je goed te word staan . Het eten was top!! Alles word netje bijgevuld genoeg eten alles zo vers fruit, groente , nagerecht en de warme maaltijden top !! genoeg zwembaden ."

"Heel Gastvrij, men nam de tijd om ons welkom te heten en naar de tafel te brengen. Er was een heel groot gevarieerd aanbod aan ontbijt inclusief meerdere glutenvrije opties. Bij de ontbijtbar was het mogelijk om specifieke wensen te vermelden en eieren zoals eggs benedict. Ook de handdoekservice bij het zwembad en privestrand was geweldig."

De prijzen van de restaurants zijn wat aan de hoge kant. De cocktails mochten wat gevarieerder zijn in aabod. Parkeertarief voor de auto valt tegen en zou inclusief mogen zijn.

Nothing to not like.

"I love this family friendly vibe! There is a pool for kids, adults with swim up bar and another quieter relax pool for adults only. The shows were good- the circus show and the fire show were my favorites. Everyone from the front desk to servers to housekeeping were friendly and helpful. The food was excellent, you have a choice in the evening between the buffet and restaurants."

It took us a few days to figure out what was happening at the resort as our Spanish was so limited.
