"Doba and his family were exceptionally welcoming, outgoing, and fun. We spent three nights at chez doba, and went on two hikes each day, to different waterfalls, viewpoints, and villages. In the evening we played football with the children and drank beer and tea with the locals. Special shoutout to Amadou, our guide for our stay - a great guy! Highly highly highly recommend Campement Chez Doba to anyone visiting Senegal, its been the highlight of our trip. We also booked onto an extra trip with Doba to tour a nearby bedik village, which was very picturesque! Doba Tours also offers other tours around Senegal, including Dakar and Niocolo Koba National Park, which we didnt use, but heard good things from other guests. The food was good and the bedrooms were clean and comfortable!"

Hoewel het een eindje lopen is van de Haram, ligt het in een levendige wijk. Je vindt er veel betaalbare restaurants en winkels die een stuk voordeliger zijn dan vlak bij de moskee

"Spent some wonderful days here! Especially Yessin, the host is really nice and helpful! There’s a shared kitchen, a terrace, where you can meet other guests and also a living room. Beds are comfy. Would recommend it for backpackers, who want to explore Tatouine and the area around. Yessine can you provide recommendations for both and even organise a tour."

Geen gordijntjes aan de bedden. Maar ik heb er makkelijk een zelf gemaakt met het dekentje wat er op het bed ligt.

"Great place to stay in Noukchott. The place itself is beautiful, and in a nice neighbourhood within walking distance to anything you'd want to see. The bungalows are cosy and comfortable. Great hot showers and good buffet breakfast. Contrary to some other uncharitable reviews, I found the young guys working there to be helpful and pleasant. Sebastien the owner gives great travel advice. 10/10, would repeat!"

"De sfeer in het hostel was gemoedelijk. Fijne huiskamer om lekker te kunnen neerploffen op één van de banken, lekkere stoelen om voor de haard te zitten en tafels om bijvoorbeeld spelletjes te doen."

Een waterkoker op de kamer zou handig zijn om snel even een kopje thee te zetten.

There isn't much privacy in the shower area

Inrichting is sober. Onze tweepersoonskamer waren in feite twee eenpersoonskamers achter elkaarmet elk 1 bed. Nogal veel lawaai van een apparaat onder ons raam.

"De jeugdherberg is mooi gelegen. Van daar kan je wandelingen maken en uitstappen met de bus, in Liechtenstein of over de grens. De tweepersoonskamer heeft een eigen badkamer, goede bedden, een gerieflijke kast, twee kleine tafeltjes als nachtkastjes, een grotere tafel en een ongemakkelijk zitje. Maar er zijn veel zitgelegenhden in het mooie ruime gebouw. Het eten is er goed."
