Het was voor ons iets te groot, we vinden kleinschaligere locaties fijner, maar dat wisten we van te voren

"De mensen van Empyrian stay zijn echt zo hartelijk! Novi, Absy, ‘de burgemeester van Thulusdhoo’, Sinbat en Santosh hebben ons ontvangen alsof we familie zijn. Ze maken een heerlijk Maldivisch ontbijt en zijn bereid om met alles te helpen. Onze zoon was jarig tijdens ons verblijf. Ze regelden een heerlijke taart, zijn bed was prachtig versierd met blaadjes! Ze geven met veel plezier een rondleiding over het eiland waarbij we meteen op de eerste avond al vanaf het land haaien zagen. Ook hebben we gevoetbald met de locals wat erg leuk was. Dit was de fijnste plek van onze rondreis en we waren verdrietig om weg te gaan."

Het gemis van een comfortabel zitje bij de bungalow. Douchecabine is heel erg aan vervanging toe.

"Lokatie was geweldig, tegen een heuvel aan geplaatst met zich op een groende vallei. Veel vogels vanaf het balkon gespot. Heerlijke omgeving ook om te wandelen. Zwembad was prima. Een avond aan het diner deelgenomen. Was prijzig maar erg leuk."

De weg er naar toe was een kleine uitdaging, maar daar kon Zimbali niets aan doen. Even opletten, er ligt een waakse Duitse herder bij de deur. Eerst de eigenaar sms-en / bellen en dan pas binnengaan.

"Very close to the beach was clean but shower curtain was always in a way it’s a bit small leaking Bedding was clean however mattresses very well used couldn’t wait to go home tv very small not enough to put clothes space like wardrobe too small could be improved not much to do for small kids outside however good points staff very nice administrative staff kind lady thank you to her also it’s brilliant location near the beach if i need to stay there again I would because of location however please improve your showers tv and mattresses thank you Laura"

"Het huisje is vrijstaand met veel ruimte eromheen, de ligging is prachtig. Er is een leuk vijvertje met grote libellen en een compostvat achterin de grote tuin. Het huis is van alle gemakken voorzien. Hoogtepunten: vuurkorf met gratis brandhout, ligstoelen onder een prieel, vrij uitzicht over groen, beekje naast het huis, aardige eigenaar."

Op de foto's zou je het niet zeggen, maar het ligt vrij dicht aan een weg waar wel regelmatig auto's rijden (meer dan we hadden verwacht). We hadden hier verder geen last van. We hadden moeite met de tv maar konden ons goed redden met het prima internet. De slaapkamer is heel klein, dus als de achterste persoon 's nachts eruit moet, zal die over de andere persoon heen moeten klimmen. Vonden wij geen probleem.

"Location is perfect- 300m from the tarred A4 main road. 15 min drive to the Sehlabathebe Nature Reserve. Nestled between the Maloti/Ukhahlamba and Tsoelikana River. An absolute beauty"

The food. They are unprepared for people who do not eat meat. The love of salt by Basotho is above average

"Wow! This is the perfect place to relax in nature along the beautiful Zambezi River. Superb service and amazing rooms. We truly felt well taken care of from beginning to end during our stay at Tongabezi."

"This magical place in the hills is owned and run by Thierry who puts a great deal of care, detail and consideration into his guest's stay. His love of the land, plants and animals is evident. Thierry gave us a tour of the property plus an amazing breakfast which included a whole tasting activity with different jams and chocolate / cheese spreads ! The bed was very comfortable. We loved the jucazzi at night whilst stargazing We enjoyed relaxing in the morning looking out over the view."

Please note if you are walking it is a steep climb back up the hill.

"Een zéér verzorgde accommodatie op een prachtige camping. Alles is voorhanden, praktische inrichting op een kleine oppervlakte. Uitstekend voor 2 personen en/of een koppel."

Het enigste wat we minsten, was een tafel en twee stoelen om buiten te kunnen eten. Rest geen opmerkingen.

"I stayed at Little Garden House and found it to be a charming and comfortable place, especially suitable for cyclists or other travelers looking for a peaceful stop. The location was a bit tricky to find at first, but once there, everything went smoothly. The host was very friendly and welcoming. She gave a helpful introduction to the facilities, including the cabin itself, the kitchen, and the shower area. The small cabin was cozy and pleasant, and the kitchen and sauna/shower located in an old outbuilding were also perfectly adequate for my needs. Overall, a nice and practical accommodation option in a quiet setting."

"The position. I was very skeptical due to bad reviews on booking.com but I found a well maintained and peaceful place. I was staying in a superior room, so can’t comment on the standard ones."

"Fantastic location. Great facilities and will be even better shortly with new tents under construction. Excellent meals and extremely friendly and helpful hosts. Take the food and day trip offerings- you won't regret it but stay at least 2 nights to really enjoy the location."

"very good location uphill, very far from street noise. we enjoyed seaview and city lights at horizon, that fara we could see from the highest small house. we got some hammocks up there and were having fun next to the amazing nature whilst chilling on the balcony, thanks to guys who secured our stay"

Was a bit musty smelling, but after being opened up and aired out and a candle or two it was perfect.
