"Het personeel was erg vriendelijk, maar de ligging is verweg van de stad. Daarnaast is Victoria Falls niet echt een leuke plek om te verblijven."

Weinig water uit de douche

"Het huisje is vrijstaand met veel ruimte eromheen, de ligging is prachtig. Er is een leuk vijvertje met grote libellen en een compostvat achterin de grote tuin. Het huis is van alle gemakken voorzien. Hoogtepunten: vuurkorf met gratis brandhout, ligstoelen onder een prieel, vrij uitzicht over groen, beekje naast het huis, aardige eigenaar."

Op de foto's zou je het niet zeggen, maar het ligt vrij dicht aan een weg waar wel regelmatig auto's rijden (meer dan we hadden verwacht). We hadden hier verder geen last van. We hadden moeite met de tv maar konden ons goed redden met het prima internet. De slaapkamer is heel klein, dus als de achterste persoon 's nachts eruit moet, zal die over de andere persoon heen moeten klimmen. Vonden wij geen probleem.

"The room was incredibly comfortable and clean. It was very quiet and we felt like home. New AC, clean and well attained. The surroundings are excellent as well as the neighbourhood is peaceful and quiet. Accessibility was good. It is a little far from the city but there is a bus stop about five minutes from the property where the Airport bus stops. A rental vehicle would be recommended. We knew that and the remote location was very soothing for us."

The outside property had some very minor issues; it felt a bit barren and the pool could‘ve been better maintained. We would have liked simple room cleaning very days without having to ask for it because it made us feel a bit uncomfortable to request it. Plus, to avoid all these plastic bottles, we would have appreciated a shared water filter station at the property.

"Great location, very quiet area, 5mins to walk to the seafront. Excellent for those who are looking relax and spend some quality time with themselves or family."

Room was a little bit smelly but it wasn’t a huge issue for us

"It was like staying at someone’s home. V good, helpful staff and bed was v comfortable. The food was surprisingly decent for such a small place. Picturesque location even though snow was sparse at the time"

Only gripe might be that the air was quite dry, making sleep quality not so good: might be because of it being a wooden bldg

"The room was very beautiful and comfortable. The food was excellent. The best we had in the Dominican Republic so far and the price is extremely reasonable. The staff was professional and friendly. I would definitely go back for the food and for the comfortable room."

We had to change room as we didn’t know from the description, that it was in a shared apartment. That information should be clear on booking.

"Чудове місце для відпочинку сімʼєю. Дуже задоволені. Було дуже затишно і комфортно. Велика територія біля котеджа – є все необхідне для барбекю, альтанки і качелі для дітей. Відпочивали взимку, але в приміщенні було дуже тепло. Є санвузли у кожній спальні, що дуже зручно. Окреме спасибі пані Олі, адміністратору котеджа. Турбувалася про нас, щоб ми почувалися максимально комфортно. Плануємо повернутися сюди влітку 🙂"

Трошки замалий холодильник. Було б добре, щоб він був трохи більшим і мав трохи більшу морозильну камеру. Також не зайвими були б ще кілька кастрюль та великі миски.

We hadden fietsen van de logde. Dat liet te wensen over.

"This magical place in the hills is owned and run by Thierry who puts a great deal of care, detail and consideration into his guest's stay. His love of the land, plants and animals is evident. Thierry gave us a tour of the property plus an amazing breakfast which included a whole tasting activity with different jams and chocolate / cheese spreads ! The bed was very comfortable. We loved the jucazzi at night whilst stargazing We enjoyed relaxing in the morning looking out over the view."

Please note if you are walking it is a steep climb back up the hill.

"Sve pohvale za domacina i njihovu predivnu villu. Preporucila bih svakome tko dolazi na Vlašić jer je kuća izuzetno prostrana, udobna , i topla i na super lokaciji, a domacin nas je jako lijepo dočekao i primio. Sigurno ćemo se vratitit ponovo 🤗❣️"

"It is a unique carribean cottage, which is a little gem. It is a five minute walk to a lovely beach. We cooked in as the kitchen had everything one required. We had our meal out on the verandah next to the kitchen and watched the sunset. Sabina is a wonderful hostess. When we arrived she tried to book as into a restaurant but it was full so she took us to the local supermarket to ensure we would have a good meal. Keith was also really helpful and a great guy. We wished we had booked it for longer."

De grote van het bed We sliepen goed, maar het bed had iets breder gekund.
