"Absolutely beautiful peaceful serene location. We were there Oct and it was cold. It must be amazing in the summer. Some issues with check-in. I guess it was off-season, because there were no staff. We needed to call and there was a small delay getting things organised. The room is huge, aircon/heater works well. Kitchen has most things you need. Fridge, microwave, utensils, etc Ensuite bathroom is large and shower is hot. It suited us perfectly."

10am check out is a bit early. We would have liked to stay around another few hours.

"Super verblijf in de natuur. Zeer mooie tenten. SUPER VRIENDELIJK PERSONEEL!!!! Dikke dank u aan Kareem!!! Wat een heerlijke behulpzame jonge man! Iedereen staat voor je klaar alsof het helemaal en alleen om jou draait, en zonder iets (fooi) weer te verwachten. De vriendelijkheid komt vanuit het hart, niet vanuit de portemonnee. Heerlijk glamping gevoel, overheerlijk eten in een prachtige openlucht setting. Super leuke camelentocht om 6u AM voor zonsopgang in de woestijn. Heerlijk voor wie van de klassiek hotelkamer af wil en in een traditionele, natuurlijke setting wil verblijven."

De prijs. Best wel prijzig 318 euro voor 1 nacht half pension. Hopelijk slaan ze de prijzen niet verder op, anders kunnen gewone mensen er niet meer terecht.

"A little gem of a hotel in a most beautiful location. The staff give an extremely warm reception, they are super friendly, very helpful and very knowledgeable about the area and what can be done…..if they didn’t know, they knew someone who does. For example, they arranged a night watching the turtles and a guide to walk some local waterfalls. The food was out of this world, fresh and local produce cooked by chefs who’ve been cooking their whole life."

Erg sober ingericht, weinig spullen om zelf eten te maken. Piep kleine badkamer.

"Lekker breed bed, de warmte van de gastvrouw, het lekkere overvloedige eten dat ze ‘s avonds graag voor je wil koken en het uitgebreide ontbijt in de ochtend."

We misten alleen een extra nachtlampje aan het bed.

"Superaardig (Engelssprekend ook) personeel, heerlijk eten. Hulde aan de kokkin! Supergoed ontbijt! Schoon. Prachtig uitzicht over de bergen en Fogo, helemaal met de zonsondergang. W-O-W. Blij met balkon."

De kamer was op de 2e dag schoongemaakt en het bed weer opnieuw opgemaakt. Met het oog op privacy, had dit van ons niet gehoeven maar misschien zijn anderen er juist wel blij mee. Zet even een nieuw klein raampje in de badkamerdeur; dan ziet het er weer mooi uit :)

"Nice forest hut on the edge of a forest - 10 min to a beach by foot. You are really almost in the middle of nature here. The forest was full of blackberries when we were there. The kitchenette corner is smallish but sufficient to make a meal for a family of four."

It may be a bit challenging to find the right road leading to the house, but we managed. Go past the road leading to the two storey apartment houses, and turn to the left of the warehouse-like structure which is further on the road.

"This accommodation is surrounded by beautiful scenery and cafes with beautiful scenery. It’s much recommended for tourist who is looking for quiet and peaceful stay. There is warmer installed under the wooden flooring so it is very comfortable to sleep on during winter. Our stay became more interesting in the morning when the host enthusiastically prepared us a tableful of breakfast. She prepared costumes for the children and initiated to take photos for us within the house and at the beautiful yard."

I am very particular with cleanliness so I didn’t feel that the bedding and pillows were very fresh. The place is actually not difficult to find but we tried taking a bus from Yeonsinnae Station and we took more than an hour to look for the bus stop with the bus that took us up to Eunpyeong area.

"Beautiful place. We stayed with family in three different rooms. Beautiful views, spacious and clean rooms. The ladies that clean the hotel were very nice. We got there early, left our things in a locker and went to flamenco beach and returned to access our rooms by a door code. The room was amazing with a small kitchen with kitchen utensils, towels and beach towels. The rooms had great air conditioner and there was a constant breeze outside that we could enjoy the balcony as well. I think the room Was even more spacious than the website pictures. ☺️"

"Gilles & Henriette were superb hosts and made us feel at home. The setting is so tranquil and like a home from home. Breakfast was an unexpected highlight - especially the delicious homemade jams and coconut bread, plus the fruit from the garden. Don't miss sunset drinks and dinner at the Opoa Beach Hotel down the road - plus there's tasty pizza on offer next door too."

Nothing - it was all great. However, be prepared for a steep drive down to the property. We were glad we arrived in daylight. 🙂

"ВСЕ!!! 10 дней, которые мы были в отеле, были окружены заботой, теплом, вниманием и помощью персонала по всем вопросам (включая практически невозможный обмен авиабилетов из Янгона в Бангкок не выходя из отеля) Пляж - просто прекрасен. Да, на нем нет удобств (кроме лежаков около отеля), но и отдыхающих, в общем-то, тоже нет. И 1,5 км пустынного пляжа в твоем полном распоряжении каждый день - что может быть лучше... Еда в ресторане не блещет разнообразием, но ОЧЕНЬ достойная. Морепродукты, естественно, свежайшие, каждый день! Отдельные слова благодарности хозяйке! За почти 30 лет путешествий по миру было очень немного мест, где хозяин лично встречает и провожает гостей, и каждый день интересуется настроением и возможными вопросами к проживанию. Если будет возможность - непременно стоит сюда приехать!!!"

"Locatie was geweldig; erg dicht bij het Hwange National Park. Ze hebben een prachtige entree met een geweldig terras kijkend op een waterplek voor dieren. Kamers waren erg verzorgd en diner was goed."

"Nina is a charming and caring host who gave us great tips on things to do and places to eat. The property is wonderful, the rooms spacious, comfortable and cozy and the breakfast was delicious!! We should have stayed longer!!!"

"De ruime veranda kijkt uit op een grote tuin. Wanneer je naar de straat loopt ben je eigenlijk direct bij het meer, waar je omheen kunt lopen. Echt lekker gegeten bij de Green Carrot in het centrum, maar daar is verder niks te doen. Banlung als stad viel tegen. Aanrader: via de vriendelijke eigenaar een topdag geregeld met gids Blaeng. Het ontbijt tenslotte met verse baguette is heerlijk."

De wandeling naar het centrum is saai, dus het is beter een tuk tuk te nemen voor 8000 Riel

"Mooie ruime kamer. Leuke zitkamer met open haard. Knus gebouw. Vriendelijk personeel. Föhn konden we lenen bij receptie. Tv op de kamer misten we helemaal niet! Prachtig strand vlakbij. Leuke pubs op 5 minuten rijden. Je kon ter plekke ook leuk zitten om wat te eten of drinken. Gratis parkeren voor de deur."

"Aangezien het binnen een natuurpark ligt hoor je enkel de vogels. Vanuit het resort kan je mooie natuurwandeling maken zonder vervoer nodig te hebben. Het restaurant is ook zeer goed en het personeel heel vriendelijk."

"Great location, very quiet area, 5mins to walk to the seafront. Excellent for those who are looking relax and spend some quality time with themselves or family."

Room was a little bit smelly but it wasn’t a huge issue for us

"Fijne sfeer en zeer aardig personeel. Het ligt pal aan het strand en de binnentuin is schaduwrijk en knus. Het bed heeft een klamboe en de kamer wordt niet te warm. Er is ook airco maar die hebben we niet gebruikt. Er is ook veel te zien in het wijkje, dus we hebben ons zeer vermaakt."

"De locatie is super; op een berg met uitzicht over het dal. Makkelijk te vinden en eigen parkeerplek voor de deur. De kamer is basic, maar prima. Enige nadeel is dat lange mensen (ben zelf 1.93m) er niet comfortabel in kunnen liggen. Ik had een kamer met 2 x 1 persons bed, dus als je lang bent boek dan een twee persoonsbed! Het ontbijt was prima; simpel maar voldoende. Avondeten heb ik er niet gegegeten. Het is gelegen in een wintersportdorp en daardoor nu duidelijk laagseizoen. Als ik hun was zou ik me 's zomers richten op bikers. Ze hebben alles in huis voor bikers; goed sanitair, bier, vuurplaats en eten."

Het bed was was klein.

"Geweldige plek, alles aanwezig wat je nodig hebt. Heb genoten van de gratis kajak. Het uitzicht is adembenemend en het is heel rustig gelegen, op loopafstand van de stad."

"Comfortable stay in a Vintage house, outback-Australia style. Has all things in the kitchen to use if self catering.Hot shower .Central, close to a lovely beach and restaurants. But 2 km from main supermarket. Recommended"
