"Leuke sfeer , leuke inrichting , aardig personeel ! Er staat een popcorn apparaat waar je zelf gratis popcorn kon maken . Echt een gezellige huislijke sfeer !"

"One of the best places we have ever stayed; we really did not want to leave. Super high quality apartment and very comfortable. Well equipped for a holiday stay (but no oven). Lovely views across the mountains and also down to the lake. Easy walk down to the lake with a nice hotel/restaurant and even a small supermarket at the bottom of the road. About another 20 minutes into the town itself, along the footpath. So great location; peaceful and quiet without the Bled town crowds and traffic."

The hot water system will drive you mad - if, like us, you were brought up not to waste water! And bring your own shower gel etc.

"The hosts are really helpful and very nice. It is so important to be able to get some help and tips, when you are travelling. What I really liked, was the breakfast, where all guests have the opportunity to meet. All of us really connected well and we had a fabulous old years eve together."

De douche was gelijk de het toilet, waardoor je met douchen het hele toilet ook nat maakt, dat is niet ideaal natuurlijk

Nothing really everything was on point

"Je kan hier van alles: wassen, activiteiten etc. De kamers zijn ruim en de gemeenschappelijke ruimten ook. Ook is de host heel erg behulpzaam en denkt met je mee."

De locatie is matig. De host bedoelt het goed maar af en toe was het een beetje te meedenkend en aanwezig. Daarnaast was het jammer dat gedurende ons verblijf alle activiteiten die we wilden doen niet door konden gaan door ziekte/feestdag. Dan zit je in de middle of nowhere zonder dat je iets kan doen.

"Vlak langs de Donauroute ligt pension Feiken. Rechtsaf, heuvel op, wat best een pittige uitdaging was voor mij op mijn stadsfiets. Het regende pijpenstelen. Meneer Feiken opende de garagedeur zodat mijn fiets binnen kon staan en mijn natte regenkleding kon ik ophangen aan een kledingrek. Er is een minibar en de kamer was ruim en schoon. Lekker op de bank Netflix gekeken. Goed geslapen op een goed, schoon bed. Geen last gehad van voorbijrijdende auto’s omdat er s’avonds en s’nachts zeer weinig verkeer is. Het ontbijt was prima, eenvoudig met een prachtig uitzicht op de Donau. Voor 45 euro was ik klaar. En dat is een mooie prijs! Je kunt het dubbele betalen voor een hotel, dat mogelijk iets moderner en luxer is. Het is maar wat je wilt."

"Het ontbijt was ongelooflijk uitgebreid met diverse huisgemaakte producten, ruime keuze in beleg en met fruit. Voor een heel schappelijke prijs. Als de andere kamer ook is verhuurd, heb je kans dat je die gasten ontmoet aan het ontbijt. Zo kun je ervaringen en tips uitwisselen. Je kunt eventueel vragen of je tegen betaling mag mee eten 's avonds. Ana is een goede kokkin! Er is goede waterdruk. Het is uitzicht is geweldig. De slaapkamer ligt op dezelfde verdieping als die van de verhuurders. In de 4 dagen dat we daar logeerden, hebben we ze niet één keer op de verdieping ontmoet. Je mag gebruik maken van de huiskamer op dezelfde verdieping. Er is een garage voor je huurauto. Heel prettig! Ana en César zijn alleraardigst en zeer behulpzaam. De communicatie gaat in het Frans. Beetje Spaans of Duits kan ook, geloof ik. En natuurlijk Portugees."

De accommodatie ligt aan de rand van Taffaral, in een wijk die nog wat ontwikkeld wordt. Veel huizen verkeren in diverse stadia van afbouw. Dat is geen hele gezellige aanblik soms, maar het is wel hoe Kaapverdië is. Je ziet het overal, dus in dat opzicht is het niet raar. Wij vonden het passend bij de hele Kaapverdië-ervaring. Dit is dus niet echt een punt waar de verhuurder zelf veel invloed op heeft. Ze zouden het graag ook anders zien.

"Malaki and his family were great hosts! Very helpful and friendly. Sorted out lots of things for us with no fuss, even though we booked last minute and had limited planning. We had some good laughs! Good view of volcano, and hear the rumbling! Simple and authentic ni-Van accommodation."

Malaki still had a few things to finish... eg switching for solar lights and some plumbing... but we were 2nd guests, so it will be more complete for next guests

"Locatie is wellicht iets ‘minder’ geen fantastisch uitzicht en vanaf het huis is het een klein stukje lopen/rijden naar dorpje. Voor mij was dit prima. Ontbijt en dinner gehad, waren beide super. Kevin is erg vriendelijk en relaxt, wat een verblijf bij hem fijn maakt."

Not really any downside about the accommodation. A car is needed as you cant really walk from there into town, but there is on-site parking and taxi services.

"Mark is very hospitable owner, the apartment is clean and cosy, location is good. Mark was so kind to let us stay longer and check out late."

We didn't expect that "shared kitchen" means that the host is actually living and sleeping at the kitchen, but as we stayed for one night it was not a problem.

"We wilden snel wat boeken voor een paar uur. Dit had goede recencies en was goedkoop. Dicht bij de grens. Maar dat zijn alle hotels in Edirne. Maar dan liever 20 euro meer voor een ander hotel."

3 persoonskamer kon je bijna niet staan. Het was een kamer van ongeveer 3x3 meter. Er stond 1 x tweepersoonsbed en 1x eenpersoonsbed naast elkaar. Badkamer was op de gang en gezamelijk gebruik. Het ergste was dat er geen airco was met 35 graden! Er was een plafondvetilator maar die was echt niet voldoende.

"The property is in a great location, close to all different kinds of food and walkable to the waterfront. Everything is very clean, quiet and comfortable. The host is lovely and friendly, making us feel very welcome. Facilities are great, and there is a washing machine you can use free of charge. Aircon works well."

The shower is cold, but it’s manageable because it’s so hot.

"Staff were very friendly and werw available for any kind of help. Cleanliness was also good enough including bathrooms. Price was very reasonable. And the location was also on very good spot, kind of centre location to visit the important places in beirut. The highlight were the staff and their behavior. It was a pleasant experience in that hotel."

Just little bit of issue in internet but we only spent night time at the hotel so was not that much of a problem.

"We vacationed here in March 2026. We came here for the sea of ​​stars, but we'll be back to experience the hosts' hospitality, the privacy, and the tranquility of this beautiful island. "Super kind and helpful hosts (speak Spanish, English and French). Very big and well equipped rooms, hammocks and comfy seats to relax in the tropical garden, with various plants and trees... A restaurant just next door and a supermarket in short walking distance... only 15min to the airport... Very comfy bed and warm water shower... Would highly recommend this place!"

Eigenlijk niets, je moet voor 1000 xaf een taxi nemen om naar " centre ville" te komen....maat dat was mijn grootste " bezwaar"

Absolutely enjoyed our stay. loved listening to her speak of her children. the love in her eye's that that shows for her children and moko's that live in Aotearoa when speaking of them. As well as her belated husband. Thank you so much for everything and opening up your home and making us feel like family I will always remember the aroha that you have shown us whilst our visit to Rarotonga. I wish you nothing but the best. I hope anyone that books your house respects and appreciates you and your beautiful whare/ house that you work hard to maintain. "Een eenvoudige kamer die de bewoners over hebben en daarom verhuren. Aardige, hulpvaardige mensen, spreken ook redelijk Engels. Er is een waterkoker waarmee je thee of koffie kunt zetten. Voor als je langer blijft is er ook een koelkast en een magnetron. Goeie tips gekregen voor avondeten en ontbijt (uitstekende bakker op 10 minuten rijden)."

Het adres is in een woonwijk en omdat ze in Japan geen straatnaam en huisnummer hanteren kan dat lastig te vinden zijn, vooral in het donker. Maar met Google Maps kon ik het toch uitstekend vinden.
