A bit convoluted to get around the property until you get used to it

"De accommodatie beviel mij erg goed, vooral het zwembad met de waterval vond ik heerlijk. De badkamer was prachtig en de kamer ruim, waardoor ik me erg op mijn gemak voelde. Daarnaast is de locatie rustig en omringd door veel natuur, wat het verblijf extra prettig maakte."

Helaas kregen we niet de juiste afstandsbediening voor de airco in de kamer, wat we pas later merkten. Daardoor dachten we dat de afstandsbediening defect wa. Daarnaast zou het prettig zijn als er een iets dikker laken beschikbaar is, of eventueel een extra laken. Op die manier kunnen gasten zich comfortabeler bedekken.

"The hotel is great and in an amazing location which is right inside the airport. Staff were polite and amazing, great buffet breakfast, there is mini zoo which had wildlife such as monkeys, crocodile, tortoise, parrot, ostriches, peacocks etc. The rooms and facilities was great and it was a great stay. They provided free shuttle to the airport which is a bonus."

The pool could do with a bit of cleaning.

"I truly loved it! It was the perfect getaway on the island. Feels secluded away from the high rise hotel area. The view is breathtaking. The staff is simply the loveliest group of people. Extremely helpful, kind and hospitable. The path at the front of the hotel is perfect for a sunset or sunrise run/walk. The blend with nature is truly top! I loved it"

Er mankeert niets aan de kamer maar oogt wat gedateerd. Terwijl de buitenkant anders doet vermoeden.

"The resort is beautiful .. there are large villas and smaller bungalows. It’s right on the beach with a lovely infinity pool and garden overlooking the beach. Rooms are comfortable and staff very friendly."

Location could be too quiet for some travelers

"De eerste 10 die ik ooit heb gegeven maar dit verblijf is het meer als waard! De gastheer en gastvrouw zijn ongelooflijk warm en doen er alles aan om je verblijf aangenaam te maken! Zij denken aan alle details en helpen je met plezier, wij voelden ons vanaf minuut 1 welkom. Het eten was heerlijk en de cocktails waren super lekker. De kamer was prachtig en had een prachtige buitendouche. Het verblijf is nog mooier als op foto en ik raad het iedereen aan voor een verblijf in Rio Dulce/Livingston. Maja en Dino wij danken jullie heel hard voor dit prachtige verblijf!"

"I had the most wonderful stay! The island was so incredibly picturesque, my chalet dreamy, the food phenomenal and Annarine and Rodney were absolutely gems! I felt so very safe and well minded. The wifi in the restaurant was top notch. Will definitely be back again soon! 🩷"

Do not expect new rooms, rooms are old but price is expected and service level is very high And also is good to have local money

"We are a couple and we love this spot, the cabins are cozy and cute and the surroundings are exceptional. If you want nice lunch, theres also a really tasty lunch buffet place very close, next to the gas station on the way to this place. We will come back next year!"

"Great snorkelling around the over water bungalows, lots of turtles feeding on the seagrass. Beautiful location, so relaxing. Beach access bungalows are very nice, newly renovated, comfy bed. Pool was awesome. Appreciated the sea bird conservation in the island. I actually loved the sounds of the Puffin de Pacifique birds at night - I thought it was a child crying at first lol… bungalows have earplugs, luckily! Complimentary buffet breakfast was good. Got a generous late check out, service was really good from the boat to the front desk to the restaurant and bar. Everyone speaks a very high level of English, not sure where the negative comments about staff come from - they were the best I experienced in NC by far."

It’s an expensive buffet dinner (around $80aud) but the choices were really good, esp the fresh seafood and all the desserts. It’s just not worth it if you don’t eat huge dinners. Order à la carte options instead, but nice to try the buffet just once. Consider BYO noodles and alcohol if you want to save money, buying food and drinks from the restaurant and bar adds up quick. Would have been good to be able to lock/unlock the back beach access door from outside with a key.

Le prix reste un peu cher pour le Myanmar dans le contexte politique actuel même si il se comprend. Le confort du lit, matelas, était mauvais. Les coupures d'électricité durant tout un après-midi sont aussi à prendre en compte. Enfin les matelas et les serviettes autour de la piscine semblent une option.

"Wij hadden de benedenverdieping van de Villa. In één woord: heerlijk! De accommodatie is ruim, schoon en voorzien van alle gemakken. Het zwembad is heerlijk waar de kids zich ook goed in vermaakt hebben. De omgeving is niet erg toeristisch, maar met een beetje goed zoeken zijn er diverse mooie wandelroutes in de omgeving. De host is erg vriendelijk en staat voor je klaar."
