"Heerlijk Resort, groot verwarmd zwembad. Ook met gratis ligbedden op het mooie strandje aan de andere kant van de weg (bereikbaar via tunnel of oversteekplaats). Gratis ruime bewaakte parkeergelegenheid. Lounge met snacks en heerlijk gebak etc. Op loopafstand van de Nightmarket in Kenting (5 minuten lopen naar het begin). Veel faciliteiten, oa SPA en talloze dingen om te doen voor kinderen of volwassenen."

The sea has moved in so much over the years that there really is no place to sunbathe on the beach by the hotel. You can walk further down the beach - given space limited sun beds on the decking area.

De reservering was niet direct bekend bij inchecken, dit gaf vertraging. De wifi viel tegen, de TV had slechts een paar lokale kanalen die werkten.

De toeslag voor een paar garnalen in de 15 dollar caesar salade bleek maar liefst 18 dollar te zijn.

"Arjuna Villa ligt op een prachtige plek boven de zee, die hier woest is waardoor je overal de golven hoort, een heerlijk geluid. Er is een prachtig zwembad dat heerlijk koel is en perfect schoon. Je zwemt als het ware boven de golven. De kamers zijn mooi gemaakt en hebben allemaal een ruim terras. We hadden een vraag i.v.m. beperkte mobiliteit en kregen een prima gelegen kamer. Het terrein is prachtig en de verzorging door Mina is perfect. Vragen en het wordt geregeld."

Het is denk ik handig om bij aankomst aan de gasten te vertellen of er automatisch dagelijks wordt schoongemaakt of dat dat gevraagd moet worden en of er dagelijks schone handdoeken worden gebracht.

At that price I expected a ceiling fan ,especially with the high humidity, and a hot shower , even under a black solar bag . And a linen change should have happened, after a few hot and humid nights , the sheets become greasy and unpleasant to sleep on .

Organised tours available for guests from tourist agencies, for self organised guests rent-a-car is the only option for sightseeing. Some facilities require better maintenance.

Despite the well balanced breakfast, I ate the same breakfast for the entire period of my stay. This was predictable and monotonous . The breakfast was standard, meaning that I had no choice in terms of portion, variety and pricing. I expected to find cooking pots and utensils in the kitchen to allow me the option of cooking and preparing anything . I wish the hotel provided information on places to be visited within the vicinity and information regarding the most recent COP29

Badkamer wat gedateerd, maar werkte wel.

De service van de frontdesk/receptie vonden wij tegenvallen. Er was ook nooit iemand aanwezig die Engels sprak. Dit maakte de communicatie wat lastig. De layout van het resort is niet optimaal. De kidsclub en het kinderzwembad liggen aan de hele andere kant van het resort. Het is een beetje weggestopt. Op het resort rijden er treintjes/autotjes rond voor de kids. Hiervoor moet flink betaald worden willen zij hier gebruik van maken.

"A good hotel with a decent and tasty breakfast served in an interestingly located restaurant. The rooms are clean and spacious. It's pleasantly cool in summer even during the heat, although there's no air conditioning. A special highlight is the mountain river flowing nearby — you can hear its sound at night. The location is truly excellent, especially convenient because the free shuttle bus stop is right next to the hotel. In the pool, the water is very warm, but it was impossible to use it — all the spots around the pool were constantly occupied."

"Heel Gastvrij, men nam de tijd om ons welkom te heten en naar de tafel te brengen. Er was een heel groot gevarieerd aanbod aan ontbijt inclusief meerdere glutenvrije opties. Bij de ontbijtbar was het mogelijk om specifieke wensen te vermelden en eieren zoals eggs benedict. Ook de handdoekservice bij het zwembad en privestrand was geweldig."

De prijzen van de restaurants zijn wat aan de hoge kant. De cocktails mochten wat gevarieerder zijn in aabod. Parkeertarief voor de auto valt tegen en zou inclusief mogen zijn.

"I had never been to an all inclusive resort before and was sceptical and personally probably will never do it again but nothing to do with the Bareclo, simply my preference but the resort was totally amazing considering the price. I had one of the bungalows which has large vey well decorated and very comfortable likewise the bathroom. Considering the size of the resort the WiFi was excellent . I never used the pool which was huge but instead the beach and swam several times The beach is stunning and spotlessly clean as to the gardens they are stunning and so well kept. The staff were so friendly and helpful especially so the ones in the dining room I have never seen such a volume of food being served ( and consumed !) in such vast qualities and the staff there in my view were so patient considering what they were dealing with! Overall I cannot fault the resort in any major way you get amazing value for money … congratulations to Barcelo"

The checking in process is very unwieldy on arrival I joined a queue of at least 50 people I got there in the early afternoon and they simply would not let anyone in to their room before 3 pm And surely some of rooms were really and why allow check ins as was available . This is not the first time I have come across this attitude The resort is large and at first it was difficult to find your bungalow as it’s not overly well signposted The was an entertainment lady around the pool screaming down a microphone … why is that necessary ? Overall it was a great stay Well done Barcelo

"het resort is erg schoon, het eten is variërend genoeg en goed van smaak. ontbijt genoeg keuze . heel fijn dat de zwembaden al zo vroeg open zijn zodat je lekker lang plezier kan hebben. fijn dat je badjassen krijgt voor naar het zwembad te lopen. personeel allemaal erg beleefd. ondanks drukte alsnog een fijne sfeer!!! echt een aanrader"

dat je nergens even water kon tappen. het was best warm en soms wil je gewoon even een slokje koud water. het was niet geheel donker in de kamer waardoor je vroeg wakker werd. we moesten bijbetalen om 2 uurtjes langer te kunnen blijven op de dag van vertrek, in het zwembad. als je iets wilt bezoeken heb je wel een auto nodig. szentendre is nog te doen met bus en trein maar de bus rijd maar 2x per uur.

It is slight expensive and the restaurant don't have paper menu. Please tell them to have menu on the table or present it when asked.

Parkeren was lastig, omdat het erg druk was. Verder geen klachten.

Only couple of persons spoke english. Several restaurants in hotel, but you could only book online with one. When you come to hotel everything is in spanish, luckily I had colleague who could speak spanish so he was able to translate how to book breakfast, lunches and dinners etc.

Eén ochtend was er geen ontbijtbuffet omdat er weinig gasten waren. We konden kiezen uit een beperkt ontbijtmenu. Hier stonden echter weinig zaken op die we als ontbijt lusten, vooral warme schotels. Het hotel is degelijk, maar gedateerd. Eerder geschikt voor binnenlands toerisme.

In sommige kamers is de hygiëne binnen de badkamer niet heel erg schoon. Kitranden van de douche en toilet zijn vies/zwart. Ook loopt het water tijdens het douchen de badkamer in, waardoor dit een waterballet wordt.
