"The host was very friendly and made tons of arrangements for us. He picked us up from the train station, drove us to the grand canyon, and also drove us to the caves. He made a delicious Chinese breakfast that was included and we also paid extra to eat dinner there as well. The hotel is nice and quiet and pretty close to the Grand Canyon - though you will probably still need to drive there."

The room was a little cold in the winter.

"Lakeside is een boerderij, uitgebaat door Roger en zijn vrouw. Het is enorm mooi gelegen. Roger geeft een rondleiding en veel uitleg over het domein en wat ze hier allemaal doen. Je kan verse vis bestellen als avondeten. Let op. Het laatste stuk naar lakeside is op de dirtroad. Google maps stuurde ons langs een heel klein hobbelig wegje dat niet mogelijk was met de auto. We zijn dus een beetje verder gereden tot er een grotere weg was."

"Na místě je možné objednat snídani. Byli jsme jediní hosté, přesto nám bylo vyhověno. Snídaně servírovaná - sázená vejce, párečky, debrecínka, šunka, sýr, máslo, džem, med, jogurt, paštika, káva, mléko, čaj, džus, pečivo. Snad jsem na něco nezapomněl. Cena příznivá. Vše v dostatečném množství, obsluha se dotazovala, zda je všechno v pořádku a zda si ještě něco nepřejeme. Ocenili jsme varný set na kávu a čaj na pokoji. Vjezdová brána na dálkové ovládání. Vzhledem k období, počasí a krátké době pobytu jsme nemohli využít potenciál, který hotel zcela jistě nabízí v příznivějším období, např. jízdy kočárem, pro rodiny s dětmi hřiště, venkovní posilovna. Na někoho může terapeuticky působit i pouhá přítomnost koní. Dávám hodnocení 8. Hodnocení je vždy subjektivní a v letním období se může vyšplhat daleko výše."

Nedá říci nelíbilo - chápu, že pokud nejsou hosté, je nerentabilní mít kvůli 2 lidem v provozu restauraci. Jezdíme na výlety docela často, takže víceméně jsme s tím počítali, resp. bylo nám jasné, že bude záležet na obsazení objektu.

"Hele ruime kamer en badkamer, alles superschoon. Fijn zwembad en schoon, je kreeg er zelfs badlakens bij. Vriendelijk personeel/eigenaren. Ze hadden ook een buitenkeuken/braai, waar je gebruik van mocht maken."

"Very good breakfast and coffee with a great choice of veggies, cheese and sausages, make sure to arrive hungry in the morning. The host Alexandr is a very nice host and played very nice piano to us. We got a great tour through the castle and the tough family history explained. The area was lways overrun from all sides, a constant struggle. We decided to stay another day."

Mortadella was cut as thick as a Schnitzel ;-) (well meant), some people might like honey or jam along with musdei. All very good. Unfortuntately we arrived when the restaurant was closed.

"Elizbar is ontzettend vriendelijk, en heeft een hele interessante presentatie gegeven over de wijn. Het eten was buitengewoon lekker."
