Dit boetiekresort ligt op een terras op een klif met panorama op de haven van Tufi en biedt een panoramisch perspectief van 180 graden. De excursiebalie kan het hele jaar door duik-, snorkel-, culturele en andere activiteiten organiseren. Alle knusse nesten van het Tufi Resort zijn voorzien van airconditioning, een eigen badkamer en klamboes. Er is 24 uur per dag elektriciteit en warm water beschikbaar. Alle bungalows of deluxe ruime kamers hebben een veranda met perspectief op zee. Gasten kunnen profiteren van lokale vis en tropische vruchten in de eetkamer of een barbecue op het terras met wijnen en koude bieren. Het buitenzwembad biedt visueel spektakel op de fjord. Het dichtstbijzijnde koraalrif ligt op slechts 15 minuten varen, met meer dan 40 in kaart gebrachte duikplekken. Andere activiteiten zijn kanoën, traditionele safari's, wandelen, vogels spotten en culturele ervaringen. Tufi Resort ligt in de provincie Oro, op 250 km van Port Moresby, en is alleen bereikbaar met het vliegtuig. Het vliegveld van Tufi ligt op 3 minuten lopen van het adres en er is vervoer naar de luchthaven beschikbaar. Alle vluchten naar Tufi zijn met Tropicair, de belangrijkste chartermaatschappij van PNG. Onze gasten kunnen privé inchecken bij de privé-terminal Tropicair, waardoor vertragingen bij binnenlandse vluchten en annuleringen van commerciële vluchten worden vermeden. Tropicair vliegt elke maandag en vrijdag naar Tufi. "Such a pleasure visiting here for the weekend! The Tropic Air flight from Port Moresby that brings you straight to the resort gives breathtaking views of the terrain below. The resort is lovely, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff are friendly, attentive, and professional. We loved the little details such as them bringing popcorn to our room in the afternoon. The views of the fjords from the deck are beautiful, and the diving is incredible. There were only 4 of us here for the weekend and they took great care of us. We felt very pampered. The food was great; (I’d give it 8/10 for one overcooked fish and one serving of undercooked fries) but everything was always beautifully plated. It rained one day here but it felt cozy and relaxing and there was plenty to do: games, darts, ping-pong, pool, books, chilling… Definitely recommend visiting this place if you have a chance!"
"Only 2 things: What they call “paddle boards” are not paddle boards. Those should be replaced ASAP. The kayak is great though. The plentiful mangos that fall all around the property aren’t collected; they’re left lying around to go bad. That’s unfortunate and doesn’t correspond to the otherwise pristine state of the resort."
