Luxe tenten in India

"wat een prachtige plek in de Wahibi desert. Wij zijn heel hartelijk ontvangen, genoten van een prachtige kamer en een heerlijk buffet en ontbijt."

op de foto is het eerste wat je ziet een zwembad. Er is echter maar 1 villa die dit heeft.

"Great host, with good energy, who picked me up from quay. His accommodation was only 10 minutes away. I slept in a tent with a very good, firm mattress. Not soft. In the afternoon it can be hot in the tent, so this makes it difficult to do a nap. A camping stove is available, so this was very welcomed. Onside a nice relaxing beach, where you can enjoy the water with paddling, just swimming or gaze at the ocean. During the night this area was quiet. Bathroom is near the house and supplies cold and hot water. He knows where to get good food, and cheap transport. A mosquito net may be handy next time. I really recommend this place."

"The accommodation was unique, peaceful, exceptional. I liked everything about it."

There was nothing that I didn’t like. I would offer a suggestion that a mosquito net is put over the bed.

"Very nice view onto the valley and the volcano. We were watching the stars and shooting stars from the very comfortable bed. Although it was cold outside, the blankets and heater keep you warm. The jacuzzi was nice as well."

The water in the jacuzzi is warm but not hot, but it wasn’t bad and totally acceptable for being in the middle of nowhere.

"My son and I spent three weeks traveling around Puerto Rico and this was a wonderful addition to our trip. I love Pitahaya's focus on sustanability and eco traveling, the exclusion of single use water bottles (BRAVO) and attention to composting and recycling. This is something rarely seen on the island and greatly needed. The mattress in the tent was very comfortable and I absolutely loved showing under the stars. A great way to camp if you are unable to bring your personal camp gear or are simply looking for a more comfortable camping experience."

The main light in our tent would only last for a few seconds. We weren't aware that it was motion activated and that made it challenging to play board games and read at night.

"The staff were Really friendly and helpful,the food was delicious ,it’s situated on a Beautiful Beach Great chill out area upstairs,hammocks,Bar,a lot of lovely Nicaraguan people,What more could you want ?"

Nothing I didn’t Like

keuken was vies en rommelig, niet genoeg plek om af te wassen. wc’s en douches waren erg ouderwets en basis, maar ging ok.

"Ondanks dat de camping vol was, was het er toch rustig. Heel veel faciliteiten en speel voorzieningen voor kinderen van alle leeftijden en toilet gebouw erg schoon. Ligging is prima."

Enige nadeel is dat er geen extra speel plek op de camping plaats zelf is. Dit zorgt er wel voor dat het bij de camping plaatsen rustig is, de kinderen zijn allemaal bij de speel faciliteiten, maar soms is het ook wel fijn om voor de tent een spelletje te kunnen doen (badminton bv), die ruimte is er niet.

"Niet alleen het verblijf zelf, maar ook alle andere activiteiten overtroffen onze verwachtingen. Zo werd het eten op een hele bijzondere manier geserveerd en is de spa heel erg mooi ingericht. De locaties waar je kon eten waren ook heel erg mooi en hadden altijd iets extra's zoals een mooi vuur. Via WhatsApp was Adrian heel erg goed bereikbaar en we werden heel erg snel geholpen bij vragen. De accommodatie vraagt om hele relaxte dagen, we zaten letterlijk in onze eigen bubbel."

"Een droomplaats, aan een prachtig strand! Ja, er zijn slechts 2 toiletten en douches maar dat vergeet je gewoon... je kan je trouwens ook lekker afspoelen onder de buitendouche. Camperen is natuurlijk altijd wat vermoeiend, zeker als de nachten warm zijn, maar bij Jungle Camping is er maximaal schaduw gecreëerd met doeken en vooral met wijnranken. Heel aangenaam om onder al dat groen te zitten aan de tafeltjes bij de bar voor een sterke koffie 's morgens of een rakija 's avonds. De camping wordt uitgebaat door een zeer vriendelijke en behulpzame familie. Je kan een Sup board huren, perfect op de kalme zee. Ga zeker eten bij Ohana (amper 10 minuten te voet) en geniet van een heerlijke maaltijd en een onvergetelijke zonsondergang."

"the slecuded. quiet peaceful grounds, the air circulation of sleeping in the tent, air flow thru mesh mosquito mesh, out side enclosed bathroom facilities,the yoga barn and good selection of books to to read in comfy arm chairs very nice plunger coffee with plunger ,over all a very pleasant 5 nights spent at this echo retreat"

maybe fresh seasonal fruit platter for breakfast as some photos show on their website, but, the muesli and little fruit, apple juice and coconut milk was very adequate
