"This was my second time staying here, and I really appreciate how clean and well-maintained the place is. It’s comfortable, decent, and offers great value for money. The staff were polite and helpful, making the stay even better."

There’s no full kitchen available — just a small area with a microwave and an icebox. But considering the cost, it’s still a good deal.

"Good and quiet location. Positive was parking in the yard, rooms were spacious."

The only downside was that the restaurant was closed due to the holidays.

"Easy communication with the owner. The room is relatively small in comparison to the other accommodations, but not a big deal, it's a traditional house. Overall we enjoyed our stay and we definitely recommend for 1-2 nights."

The acces road is quite steep and parking might be challenging. Quite a lot of mosquitos during the night.

Het vinden van de ingang in het donker was de 1e keer wat zoeken, dit ondanks de aanwijzingen.

"Paolo is a wonderful host. He's warm and kind. He immediately offered us coffee when we arrived. We felt right at home. The house was clean enough. We also had a nice breakfast. I highly recommend it."

Their is nothing i can assume to be bad. Everything was above my expectations. Everyone should try it at least. No one will say that they found something bad on this hotel.

"Zeer behulpzame gastheer en hij spreekt Spaans en Engels. Goed ontbijt en hij gaf allerlei tips voor bezienswaardigheden in de omgeving. We mochten wat bederflijke boodschappen in zijn koelkast bewaren en zijn keuken gebruiken om thee te zetten en salade te maken. Super aardig en attent. Ook super schoon. Eigen wc en douche naast de kamer. Er is geen airco, maar in Volcan is het zoveel koeler dat je die beslist niet nodig hebt. Ook zeer rustige en veilige wijk en veel wandelmogelijkheden in de omgeving."

De kamer is grotendeels gevuld met 2 grote bedden, daardoor is er geen plek voor een stoel.

"I did like the way I was received and was shown around.Kessy is always available when you need her. My advice to anyone is to make sure you communicate the time of your arrival to her in time."

Upgrade is always allowed but everything is okay 👍 during my stay

"We had a pleasant stay for our ski week. Ski slopes are very close and can be reached within minutes by foot. Our host was very kind and helpful in everything. The restaurant under the accomodation serves delicious food, perfect for after ski dinners. No noise can be heard above from restaurant. Rooms are very clean and well equipped, we had everything needed for our daily routine. We will probably return later on."

We didn't experience any negatives.

"To start with, the location is not only excellent (right in the middle of historical Viterbo, walking distance to most things), but you also have parking inside (and space for normal-sized cars too), which can be a life saver when travelling by car. Nice (and very clean) room, and for a very reasonable price (have been to city accommodations half as good for twice the price). Also provided disposable indoor slippers, which is instantly a +1. Lastly, can mention that the owner also has a nearby restaurant (c. 2min walk), called La Chimera, which I can strongly recommend. I do not normally give 10/10 unless very deserving, i.e. going above and beyond, but this place deserves it."

The host cannot speak much English, but make it up through effort and enthusiasm, so you will still understand in the end (with or without Google translate). Breakfast was ok, but almost only sweets, so some less sugary stuff as well could be good. Some of the toiletries just lasted, so not a big issue, but if providing more then would not have to ration. Can also be a bit difficult to find (more so since some streets are currently closed-off due to construction).

"Great accommodation in “middle of nowhere”. Quiet place with superb rooms, brand new. Fully equipped kitchen available. Proactive and nice receptionist! I wish to stay there more than one night!"

"Location is ok, 10 minutes walk to Somerset MRT station. Cleanness was ok, not spotted but acceptable. Air conditioning worked well. As the cheapest private room with private bathroom in the whole city this place is worth its price. Good contact with owner via whatsapp. I would come back."

The owner does not treat this place like a hotel, so for example, toilet paper is replaced by the guests themselves.

"Endroit calme en plein centre de Nouakchott, petit jardin charmant avec piscine et surtout d'excellent petit-déjeuners réalisés maison, salade de fruits, pains frais tout droit venus de chez Eric Kayser (toujours juste ouvert à Nouakchott) et omelettes, cela fait plaisir."

"They upgraded us to a better room in the Dar Alma hotel with a sea view. It was gorgeous, and the breakfast was delicious. One of the best places to stay in Tyre."

The flush in the bathroom didn't work, and they never came to fix it during our stay. Before arriving, they were very insistent in calling and asking for our arrival time, so I would reduce the communication with the staff if possible.

"Supervriendelijke en gastvrije hosts, die je echt een familiegevoel gaven. Mooie kamer, prachtig uitzicht vanaf het dakterras en heerlijk eten. De guesthouse is hoogelegen en was voor ons niet makkelijk vindbaar. De mensen in het dorp waren zeer behulpzaam en regelden dat de hist ons tegemoet kwam. Ook toen we later het prachtige kasteel en leuke dorp bezocht hadden, te voet, kwam de eigenaar ons beneden ophalen, zodat we niet omhoog hoefden te lopen. Wat een service!"

"De vriendelijke eigenaar, super relaxed, kamer goed, lekkere douche, voldoende van alles en zeker handdoeken 👍🏼. Het eten hoef je nergens anders te doen het wordt met veel liefde en passie gemaakt. Behalve de lunch doe je ergens anders. Zeer kleinschalig wat wij juist erg fijn vinden. Goed onderkomen om trips te ondernemen, natuurlijk de condors en de canyon. Kortom heerlijk verblijf om tot rust te komen, dus geen entertainment maar rust en natuur 🙏🏼"

"Location was great. And nothing beats the local dishes for breakfast. The convience of the washer and dryer right in the apartment was awesome!! I think the gated area added to the security of the apartment, and so you feel safe staying there."

I think some basic essentials would be nice, like salt, pepper, and oil to cook with:-)

"The balcony was vast, convenient for reading a book or taking a drink/meal, and with excellent view. The hosts were cordial and extremely helpful."

Actually, description was ambiguous: contrary to expectation, the toilet, bathroom and kitchen were shared (with the hosts and with the renter from the other room that is hired within the property), not private.

"Un peu difficile d'accès, c'est la campagne, mais vu que le propriétaire est venu nous chercher à l'aéroport il n'y a pas eu de problème. Au contraire nous étions très bien et au calme."

"Heel erg fijn huis om te verblijven, met een goed uitgeruste keuken en een fijne tuin om tot rust te komen. De host heeft informatie over wandelingen in de buurt en restaurants om te bezoeken"

Het stapelbed waarin we sliepen wiebelde erg en stond niet stevig. De matrassen zijn ook redelijk hard

"De gastheer Raoul is echt fantastisch. Zijn huis is heel mooi en schoon en gezellig, maar hij zorgt voor de geweldige sfeer. Heerlijk eten, lekkere chacha en enorm gastvrij. Het huis is van alle gemakken voorzien en het bed sliep heerlijk. Het is de ultieme stop na een lange dag hiken. Je gaat geen warmere guesthouse vinden, er is aandacht en liefde in alles gestopt. Wij zouden dit aan iedereen aanbevelen!"

"De in eerste instantie geboekte kamer had net even wat te weinig comfort(Geen warm water).Een upgrade naar een andere kamer op een locatie iets verder op was en prima zet.Goede ruimte goed comfort"

"La gentillesse du personnel. Les chambres spacieuses. Le prix imbattable. La situation parfaite."

"We hadden de hele bovenverdieping inclusief gezamenlijke woonkamer en keuken voor ons gezin. De kamers waren prachtig en het bad met uitzicht geweldig. Het huis is Prachtig gelegen op een berg aan de noordkant van het eiland. Het zwembad konden we niet gebruiken vanwege het wat slechte weer. De jacuzzi werd voor ons aangezet. Dat was fantastisch. De eigenaren zijn erg aardig en zeer behulpzaam en ook de vrouw die schoonmaakt en het ontbijt verzorgd was ontzettend aardig. Het inbegrepen ontbijt was echt fantastisch. We hebben het ontzettend naar onze zin gehad. De locatie is wat afgelegen maar dat vonden wij geen probleem. De take-away beneden aan de berg is ook een ontzettende aanrader."

"Hele mooie locatie, de camping ligt mooi tussen de bergen. Leuke kleine bungalow die er verzorgd uitzag, er was wat bestek en servies aanwezig ook al was deze bungalow zonder keuken. Het was basic maar dat had ik verwacht. Super aardig personeel, de camping toilet /douche faciliteit was schoon en netjes. Er is ook een mooi zwembad op de camping heerlijk om een duik te maken na een wandeling, al met al we hebben het prima naar ons zin gehad"

De toilet was best ver van onze bungalow en s’nachts is het toch echt heel erg donker. Neem een zaklamp mee!!
