"Ligging, mooi uitzicht over het meer. Ontzettend vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel."

"Superfijn ontvangst, lekker bed en douche in een heel gezellig dorp. Ontbijt was goed. Ze doen erg hun best het je naar de zin te maken."

Oppervlakte is wel wat klein, zomder een stoel.of tafeltje om je spullen op te leggen.

"Ruime appartement. En eerst ruime hotelkamer gehad omdat onze appartement nog niet vrij was. Maar dat vonden wij niet erg. Restaurantje dichtbij. Groot Zwembad mooie speeltuin voor de kinderen. Echt genoten. Hadden wel langer willen blijven. Aardige mensen"

"Very good motel, clean, with nice staff. Next to the petrol station and quite close to Lamoni and Amish store. Good breakfast."

"Super aardige en gezellige mensen en heel confortabele kamer met goede douche en voorzieningen. Niets was teveel. Veel informatie van ze gekregen over het eiland en wat er allemaal te doen was. Ze regelden een taxi naar het vliegveld en checkten tussendoor of we het wel naar onze zin hadden. Perfect dus! Vlakbij het strand (twee straatjes oversteken). Je stapt het hotel uit en dan kun je meteen de 'bus' nemen naar Maho of naar Marigot. Kostte maart 2 dollar."

"The room is clean and huge in size. Even the location is good for accessing shops and restaurant and not far from the center."

As I enter the room, there is a strong smell of smoke. They need to ensure that the room is properly ventilated so that the smoke odour doesn't linger. Additionally, they don't provide soap or shampoo in the bathroom. It can also be quite exhausting to stay in a hotel with steep stairs and no elevator.

"The stay at Casa Isleña exceeded our expectations. It is located on a beautiful beach, the decor is tasteful, it offered by far the best food and drinks on the island and the staff is friendly, courteous and skilled. There were even truly great live music acts. In case we travel to Puerto Rico again, this place is a must-visit. We wish we could have spent more time there.."

Kamers zijn ietwat gedateerd

"Ligging was top. Rustig plekje in de drukte. Loopafstand van het strand."

Bedden waren niet heel comfortabel. Extra betalen voor AC

"Het is een fijne en ruime kamer met twee goede bedden. Ook de badkamer was erg ruim. De keuken die we deelde met de andere kamer was goed uitgerust en had alles wat je nodig had. Locatie was top, vlakbij het centrum van San Ignacio, 2 min wandelen"

We kregen niet dagelijks schone handdoeken.

As in a lot of places the wifi sometimes doesn't work but that is not specifically for this place though. I blame Africell 😊

"Amazing people are working there on reception and wellness Wellness is super, breakfast is good, dinner is ok (because one time we had bufet dinner which was super, while another evening we had dinner from menu which was not so tasty)"

Photos of the room while booking was different from the room which we got, so were a bit upset about it.

"The service and food were fine. Room was spacious and clean. Beautiful and peaceful location. The kitchen catered for our specific preferences as my husband and son do not eat meat and chicken and my daughter doesn't eat octopus."

No shampoo available and i wasnt aware of same before booking else would have brought mine. Towels stayed wet and had to use same both for shower and pool. Amenities should be provided to allow for wet clothes and towels to dry, like a drying line in the bathroom.

"Perfecte locatie! Prima kamer, goede bedden, fijne douche. Niks op aan te merken."

"De sfeer is er erg leuk en knus, erg leuk ingericht. De locatie is perfect!"

Het duurde best lang voordat het water warm was en het werd ook niet echt warm. We waren in het seizoen dat het savonds en sochtends erg fris kan zijn.

"Het is in het centrum heeft goede kamers een dakterras waar ruimte om te Roken en de mogelijkheid gebruik te maken van restaurant beneden ook een goed restaurant en er wordt uitgebreid keuzeontbijt geserveerd ook is er een bakkerij met stokbrood en veel verschillend gebak koeken"

De open douche was niet mijn favorite

"Heerlijk rustige plaats. Vlakbij het strand Aardig en behulpzaam personeel. Heerlijk grote kamer. Heerlijk warme douche. Eenvoudig ontbijt heerlijk op de binnenplaats onder de palmbomen."

Niet direkt aan het strand, strand was 2 straten verderop.

"The hotel was stunning! Set in the jungle and in beautiful wooden cabins, it feels like low-key luxury. The restaurant was lovely, it’s quite popular on the island but the staff make sure hotel guests get good tables and are catered for. It’s very very quiet, so if you are looking for relaxation it’s perfect. The grounds are beautifully curated, it feels like you are staying in a botanical garden. The general manager was a gem, he sorted out a small issue with our room very quickly and was so hospitable for the rest of our stay, he couldn’t do enough to help. Can’t wait to go back one day!"

Some people would take issue not having AC, but it’s definitely cool enough and there is no reason to have them.

"Heerlijke kamer met een goed bed. Het terras bij de kamer was een feestje met een heerlijk schommelbed en een sofa. Het zwembad is een plaatje en lag direct naast onze kamer. De pauwen maakten de locatie echt af."

Het ontbijt had beter gekund, en de kamer was behoorlijk gehorig. De receptie oogt in eerste instantie wat ongezellig door het tl-licht

No lift unfortunately, but you can manage!
