Duerme tranquilo

"Wat een warme welkom in Costa Rica. Na een lange vlucht is dit de perfecte stop bij de luchthaven om je meteen welkom te voelen. Taxi genomen via Uber naar de locatie (4 euro), 6 minuten rijden. Moest om 6 uur 's ochtends al vertrekken om door te reizen maar een goeie tas koffie gekregen van de gastvrouw. Ik kom graag terug."

"Vriendelijke en behulpzame gastvrouw. Ze wachtte me buiten op bij aankomst. Toen ik een blaar op mijn voet had, gaf ze me een uitgebreide pedicurebehandeling. De kamer met drie bedden was voor mij alleen zeer ruim."

"De naam stond niet op de gevel. Ik had geen voordeursleutel en moest dus steeds de gastvrouw roepen om me binnen en uit te laten. De kraan bij de wastafel zat heel dicht tegen de muur aan. Lastig om wat te wassen. Geen handdoekrekje of klerenkast."

"The bed were very comfortable and for the price. We had a very nice authentic breakfast in the morning. As we were just there for a night, it was perfect for us. The location was nice and quiet and mostly close by taxi to the airport. I would go back if we need a place to stay for one night before or after a flight."

"I stayed here 1 night to catch the plane the next morning. The lady who owns the place was very accommodating. She waited up to let me in from a late flight and was up early to make sure I had breakfast in the morning. She also booked a taxi for me to get back to the airport."

"It is a lovely no frills place to stay near the airport and away from the bustle of San Jose. It is quiet and the host is lovely. Will be staying there again before flying home."

"An older woman owns the house and rents out 5 rooms, it’s typical of San Jose, very simple and basic local style but the woman is so wonderful and helpful and caring! I felt very safe and looked after, it was comfortable & rooms were very quiet so good for sleeping after or before airport. I could cook in the kitchen too. The area feels very safe and is easy to find."

"I only stayed for one night but It felt like coming home. So much value for money! The owner is incredibly heart warming and welcoming. I was treated with homemade cake (still warm) when i arrived way later than i told her. Breakfast was good and easy. She arranged a taxi for me. Very helpful with everything. Communication was super easy (in Spanish) and very fast to reply. Wonderful stay"
