Chalets op de Filipijnen

"Prachtige locatie! Je zit echt ij een rustig gedeelte van Bang Thao. Echt een voordeel is ook dat je heel dicht bij de Muy Thai gym zit. Je kan bij de accommodatie scooters huren wat heel fijn is. De kamers zijn heerlijk ruim en de bedden heel fijn. Ook de mensen van de accommodatie zijn super aardig, geven je allemaal tips over de omgeving en helpen je graag. Het strand is ook dichtbij. In de omgeving zijn ook leuke night markets te vinden, niet extreem groot maar wel leuk om heen te gaan! Er zijn ook twee honden die bij de mensen horen van de accommodatie. Ze zijn zoooo lief! We gaan Bella en Dam erg missen. Komen zeker een keer terug als wij weer naar Phuket gaan!"

Het bed was echt wel een smal. Verder was het ontzettend lastig slapen met blaffende honden, kraaiende hanen en een houtzagerij naast het hotel. Kom hier niet voor je rust!

"Schattig klein huisje , keurig verzorgd . Heerlijk fris beddengoed , handdoeken en keukendoeken en hele lekkere Eilandzeep. Welkomst pakket voor de hond . Dicht bij wad en strand , een week heerlijk gewandeld ."

"Lovely atmosphere and had all the facilities we needed. It was dark when we arrived making it a bit difficult to find however we managed to contact the manager and were guided to the property. There was no restaurant or cafe within walking distance but the young man who welcomed us went out of his way to go and get dinner and bring it back for us. A peaceful and comfortable stay. I would recommend this place."

There was no signpost on the main road to give directions. Not so bad during the day but necessary at night.

"Lekker ontbijt en elke dag eenvoudig ,vers en heerlijk avondeten in buffet vorm. Heel aardig en behulpzaam personeel. Zeer mooi uitzicht."

Toegangsweg is vrij avontuurlijk voor een 2 wiel aangedreven auto.

"We loved this place - set out in the middle of the rain forest with little other than toucans, howler monkeys, bats and agouti for company. I admit that if you are looking for a bland, all inclusive resort - La Ceiba may not be for you. But if you you want to sleep in the rainforest then this place is beyond perfect. There's a decent track about 400m long from where you park to the accommodation. It is lit at night - watch out for snakes and you'll definitely see frogs."

Just a suggestion - you should promote the work of the Jaguar Rescue Center more. We stayed here partly because the money is used to help wildlife - but many people may not make that connection and so may not go and visit the JRC

"Breakfast is traditional taiwanese food,the coffee is great. The staff is pretty friendly. Definitely it will be my first choice when I will visit Yilan county next time."

"Heerlijke leuke cottages met alle faciliteiten. Lekker bed en heerlijke douche. Goede service voor bezoek aan chobe. Restaurants en supermarkt om de hoek."

Let op bavianen. Ze stalen bij ons de peper van tafel.

"Het zwembad is altijd open. Eigenaresse Lise ontving ons heel gastvrij en heeft ons leuke tips gegeven om te doen op het eiland. Vervolgens voelt het alsof je de hele Seychellen toch je eigen beschikking hebt. Lise heeft zelfs nog een avond voor ons gekookt en maakt iets compleet passen voor ons gezin. We hebben echt genoten en achteraf veel te kort gebleven."

De locatie is echt alleen per auto te doen.

You have to bring cash to pay for the room. The toilet and shower (both very clean) are in a separate house. So you have to make short walk (15 meters) I had problems to find the location in google maps. The location I found was not the location of accommodation. Finally somebody helped us to find the proper location.

"Alles was aanwezig, zelfs de luxe van badjassen en badlakens voor aan het zwembad. Het zwembad was verwarmd waardoor het uitnodigde om te zwemmen ookal was het minder warm. Het bed lag heerlijk. Mogelijkheid met qr code om een massage te boeken."

Weinig opbergruimte in de badkamer voor je toiletspullen. Persoonlijk zou ik mi der handdoek wissel nodig hebben. Iemand de keuze hierin geven ondersteund het millieu. De ligbedjes aan het zwembed hebben weinig ligcomfort..

El camino tiene 10 minutos de acceso complicado por pista. Recomendable un coche alto o 4x4

"I absolutely loved the place! I came together with my friend with intention to relax and chill. The place was super cozy, relaxing and in a lovely calm area. When we came in november, there were still some wedding decoration left on the staircase (from the owners sons wedding the month before), and as a future bride myself I felt enchanted! I definitely recommend this place either for a lovely ladies night, or a romantic getaway, or a fun holiday with a bunch or friends. Greetings from Joanna and Monika"

"Prachtige omgeving, en een goede uitvalsbasis om de omliggende natuur te ontdekken. Prettige eigenaar en een hele lieve hond! Voor een regenachtige avond is er een tv met oa netflix"

De lakens zijn nogal ruw, en verduisterende gordijnen zouden een fijne toevoeging zijn in de zomermaanden.
