Herbergen in Dominica

"Goede ligging in het centrum vlakbij allerlei supermarkten en restaurants. Kamers zijn mooi ingericht en van alle gemakken voorzien. Erg vriendelijk personeel en kan alles voor je regelen."

Ontbijt zou iets beter kunnen worden bijgevuld na 9 uur. Ik snap dat ze niet te veel willen weggooien om 9.30 uur, maar nu waren sommige dingen (zo goed als) op.

"I felt at home from the very first moment at Tara Guest House. The family is incredibly kind and welcoming, and they went above and beyond to organize all my trips both around town and further afield. They are very knowledgeable and always happy to help with anything. It also meant a lot to know that the funds from the guest house support a school for the local community. I would 100% recommend staying here."

Zoals aangegeven geen airco, wat daar niet echt uitmaakt. Stroom viel wel een keer uit, wat na een half uurtje verholpen werd.

The swimming pool very small though they have much space

"Mooie relaxe plek, rustgevend, super vriendelijk personeel, sfeervolle locatie, veel planten, oog voor details, vlak bij het strand, waar parasols en ligbedjes tot je beschikking staan, gratis parkeerplaats, gezellig en goed restaurant, ruime kamer, terras met zitje, hangmatten en een BBQ, Indien gewenst is er een gezamelijke buiten huiskamer/ keuken waar je gebruik van kan maken"

Toch wel jammer geen buitenruimte. De badkamer loopt helemaal vol met water als je doucht. Een trekker zou handig zijn.

"Zara Village exceeded our expectations! The staff were extremely friendly and the restaurant was amazing. The location is perfect if you want to access Lokobe, they even organised our guide. Our favourite was having cocktails by the infinity pool. This was definitely a highlight of our trip."

Nothing we enjoyed our stay

"Great value for money. If you intend to stay at the university, this hotel has everything one needs and is in close walking distance. Also, the rooms are tidy, and the staff is very friendly."

The reception was almost never occupied, and the person on the indicated phone number did not speak English. So checking in and paying was a bit tricky. Internet is a bit slow for working, but OK. Also, mind that you may need to bring your own shampoo, soap, and hair dryer.

"Location is at walking distance from many points of interest. Room has a little kitchen with stove and small refrigerator. There is no Coffee maker though. Room has A/C, hot water, TV with Netflix. It is a good choice for the price and it is comfortable. It is also very quiet."

It said had parking included but you need to park on the street or pay a parking lot. Besides the guy that received us for the check-in never saw anyone else in the front desk during our stay to ask questions or guide us on anything. Other than that the place is good to stay and will definitely go back

"I loved the charm & atmosphere of the Hotel. I was pleasantly surprised. Beds were nice & comfy. If anything a ceiling fan would be nice, just cause it got quite warm in the room. But otherwise ir was lovely."

I usually wouldn't stay in anything with a shared toilet & bathroom but it was fine & very clean.

"Zeer mooie en rustige locatie. Uiterst vriendelijk personeel. Mooi gebouw met verschillende gezellige ruimtes en terassen. Goed gelegen om de gorge de Dades te bezoeken. Privé parking."

Kamers zijn ietwat gedateerd

"Our self catering apartment was in a good location. Places to eat are near by. Facilities were basic but adequate for our stay. Towels were lovely and soft, the room was clean, the shower was good and the a/c was efficient. The staff at reception were very friendly."

Pillows a bit lumpy but we still got a good night's sleep.
