Herbergen in Dominica

"De locatie is geweldig. Het personeel heel vriendelijk. De bedden heel goed en het ontbijt heerlijk."

Onze kamer was in een bijgebouwtje, wat hier en daar wel een opknapbeurtje kan gebruiken.

"Zeer ruime en fijne kamer. Een comfortabel bed. Goed ontbijt en vriendelijk personeel. Mooi uitzicht."

"Centraal hotel met een fijne sfeer. Het ontbijt op de mooie binnenplaats was heerlijk. De gastheren waren erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam!"

"Coco Cave ligt op korte loopafstand van het centrum van Göreme. Er is parkeergelegenheid bij het hotel en een parkeerplaats op een paar minuten lopen. De kamers zijn smaakvol ingericht met aandacht voor authentieke elementen. Op het terras hen je iedere ochtend een prachtig uitzicht op de luchtballonnen. Prima ontbijt, vriendelijk en behulpzaam team."

The hotel is next to the freeway, so avoid rooms close to front due to constant traffic noise.

"The hotel is conviniently located next to the Hashimoto train station. A really convinent stay if you are planning to visit koyasan withoit having to go back to namba station. In addition the town is quiet and calm. The room is spacious and comfortable. Will come back to stay in this room if we are coming back to japan."

"The service and food were fine. Room was spacious and clean. Beautiful and peaceful location. The kitchen catered for our specific preferences as my husband and son do not eat meat and chicken and my daughter doesn't eat octopus."

No shampoo available and i wasnt aware of same before booking else would have brought mine. Towels stayed wet and had to use same both for shower and pool. Amenities should be provided to allow for wet clothes and towels to dry, like a drying line in the bathroom.

"The hotel was stunning! Set in the jungle and in beautiful wooden cabins, it feels like low-key luxury. The restaurant was lovely, it’s quite popular on the island but the staff make sure hotel guests get good tables and are catered for. It’s very very quiet, so if you are looking for relaxation it’s perfect. The grounds are beautifully curated, it feels like you are staying in a botanical garden. The general manager was a gem, he sorted out a small issue with our room very quickly and was so hospitable for the rest of our stay, he couldn’t do enough to help. Can’t wait to go back one day!"

Some people would take issue not having AC, but it’s definitely cool enough and there is no reason to have them.

"Renate is a perfect and really nice person. She was really kind and helpful and the breakfast was absolutely perfect too. The Alpe-Adria Trail is goes exactly in front of the door."

There wasn't anything. Not a new pansio but it is absolutely perfect.

"Prachtig verblijf met zeer goede locatie. Ook de hotel medewerker, Bayzin heeft ons geweldig geholpen met het vinden van een ander verblijf (omdat Kunaa zelf vol zat en wij maar een nachtje hebben kunnen boeken) tot en met het regelen van het vervoer naar het vliegveld. Al met al een zeer fijne ervaring."

"Prima prijs kwaliteit verhouding. Zeer vriendelijk personeel en een prima ontbijt. En er zit een lekker Thais restaurant op 5 min loop afstand."

"Perfecte locatie. Mooi oud, houten huis midden in het centrum."

Niets viel echt tegen. Badkamer lag buitenbaden kamer, maar dat past wel bij zo’n oud huis.

Ze regelden een taxi naar het vliegveld en checkten tussendoor of we het wel naar onze zin hadden. Perfect dus! Vlakbij het strand (twee straatjes oversteken). Je stapt het hotel uit en dan kun je meteen de 'bus' nemen naar Maho of naar Marigot. Kostte maart 2 dollar."

"Prachtige locatie. Alles goed geregeld. Alles was leuk verzorgd. Overal mooie hangplanten echt gezellig."

"De locatie was perfect. Alles was netjes en schoon, en er stonden zelfs koffie, thee en koekjes klaar. Het voelde echt als thuis en heel welkom. Daarnaast hadden wij alle privacy. De zelf check-in gaf extra flexibiliteit, ideaal wanneer je onderweg bent en nog niet precies weet hoe je reis zal verlopen."

De airconditioning konden we niet aanzetten en het was die nacht erg heet. Daardoor moesten we met de ramen open slapen, wat veel lawaai van de drukke straat naar binnen bracht. Als je daar gevoelig voor bent, neem dan zeker oordopjes mee :)

"Centrale ligging, hartelijke gastheer en gastvrouw"

Wij zijn lange mensen, de kamer was netjes maar klein.

"Perfecte lokatie voor wanneer je van rust houdt. Voor ons een overnachtingsplek voordat we weer de ferry naar Sao Vicente namen en alvast in de buurt wilden zitten. We hebben heerlijk gegeten. Het ontbijt werd iets eerder geserveerd zodat we tijdig de ferry konden nemen. Exact wat wij nodig hadden voor 1 nacht."

"Het enorm vriendelijke personeel en het heerlijke eten in het restaurant. Wij hebben deze gekozen voor na onze middagsafari in Botlierskop."

Kamers zijn ietwat gedateerd

"Large, clean and modern room with a hairdryer and enough plugs. Parking available. Nice breakfast with home-made yogurt and jams. Internet was satisfactory. The dinner at a (somewhat high) price of 30 Euro per person was good. Good service overall. The owner, Mr. Desprairies, is very professional."

Though we did like the breakfast, we saw that eggs are offered for an extra charge. In most hotels this is standard, so I would recommend to just include them in breakfast. Also, the coffee was so so.

As in a lot of places the wifi sometimes doesn't work but that is not specifically for this place though. I blame Africell 😊
