Vakantieparken in Dominica

"Mooi uitzicht! Alleen dat was het al waard. Wij zaten in het huisje Kanoa, prima voor 2 personen. Het was goed schoon, fijne douche en lekker zeembadje! Ook keukentje incl. koelkast, magnetron, koffiezetapparaat en waterkoker. Het is een afgesloten terein met een paar huisjes op een rijtje maar wel zo gebouwd dat je veel privacy hebt. Ontvangst was via whatsapp waar we de codes voor de poort en sleutelkastje kregen. Op de dag van vertrek mochten we na overleg de hele dag in het huisje blijven, wat erg handig was aangezien onze terugvlucht pas ‘s avonds ging. We hebben daardoor nog kunnen zwemmen en douchen."

Klein puntje: We misten initieel wat informatie in het huisje met de wifi code, afval, hoe laat je moet vertekken etc. Maar we hebben via whatsapp goed contact gehad met de eigenaar. Maar het zou op zich handig zijn als de informatie in het huisje ligt.

"Klein opgezet park met schone faciliteiten, bbq’s en picknicktafels en leuke speeltuin/trampoline/zwembad voor de kids. Op loopafstand van het dorp (tip: eten bij Cooked). Ze hebben scheppen staan die je kan lenen voor hot water beach."

Onze auto stond voor de deur, omdat je deze nergens anders kan parkeren. Vind dat zelf altijd ongezellig

"Locatie uitstekend. Vooral de app. die aan de voorkant (zeezicht) liggen. App. in de Courtyard hebben weinig uitzicht en als je buiten zit is nogal erg warm (geen of weing wind). Mooi zwembad met stretchers en stoelen Je kunt kilometers wandelen over de boulevard: 2 x heen en terug is minstens 10.000 stappen. Op kline stukjes stand kan je zitten: eigen stoel meebrengen Het er rustig. Bijzonder aandige dame in de Office (Marjan)"

Eén belangrijk punt: er is 's avonds en 's nacht niemand van de staf aanwezig; dus als er iets gebeurt ben je op jeelf aangewezem en op de normale overheid-noodnummers. Verdient aan beveling als óf een personeelslid 7/24 aanwwzig is of dat het App.complex een noognummer heeft dat écht functoneert: een persoon die de telefoon opneemt. Wij misten de standstoelen om meen naar strand te nemen

"De gastvrouw is top, heel sympathiek. Het eten is superlekker en de omgeving is prachtig! Tijdens het eten zwommen er zomaar even twee dolfijnen voorbij. In de verte kan je de brulapen horen bij zonsopgang en -ondergang."

"Peaceful location with a beautiful garden, spacious and comfortable rooms and very amazing hosts. They gave us tea and a bottle of their fantastic homemade lavender shampoo made from herbes harvested in the garden. It is a sustainable little paradise."

The window on the ceiling let in a little too much light, but this is only a problem on the bed below it (and it heats up the room very well during the day - which is crucial due to the cold nights).

"Kleinschalige camping, netjes en lekker eten. Wij waren er 1 nachtje in combinatie met een raftingtoer en dat was ideaal."

"Het was een prachtig appartement met een adembenemend uitzicht op de bergen en zee. Alles wat we nodig hadden was al in het appartement. Zelfs zeep om een wasje te doen. Ocean was super behulpzaam met alles wat wilde weten. Absolute aanrader. Wij gaan sowieso terug komen!"

The breakfast is basic, would have liked fruit and some more options.

Nada, todo estaba perfecto

"everything about this property was amazing the communal kitchen bathroom and pods were all amazing nice and clean accessible for a wheelchair, right across from beach an 15 minute walk from the shops. thought about everything had a list of taxis, little part of reception with toys for kids, can make cup of tea at reception after you check out if your waiting for ferry or plane. also the women at reception was so lovely and once we called answered straight away to help with our questions. was so lovely to be able to go into the water in the beach and run up to the sauna."

nothing i loved it all

"De accommodatie (villa) was uitstekend. Vier grote slaapkamers met eigen badkamer, een volledig uitgeruste keuken en een grote zitkamer. BBQ buiten met grote zit in leuke tuin. Inpandige garage voor auto of ander opslag. Uitstekende ontbijt. Er werd iedere dag schoongemaakt en indien nodig schone handdoeken verstrekt. De dames van de receptie waren zeer vriendelijk en namen meteen actie indien nodig. Golfbanen, restaurants en winkels zeer dicht in de buurt."

Kan niets bedenken

"We hadden een fijne accomodatie voor 2 personen. Precies wat we nodig hadden."

Internet is niet goed. Voor de camping functioneert het prima, maar voor de andere accomodaties is het niet goed genoeg. Alleen buiten hadden we een redelijk bereik, maar dat is heel lastig als het kouder is. De ongelijke trap is even wennen. We misten een trapleuning.

Le linge de lit et les serviettes de toilette pourraient être compris dans le prix de location.

"La ubicacion es fantastica, increible ver el cielo con un sinfin de estrellas. Muy amable tambien el dueño y lo mejor es que el check out es despues de las 10."

Lo unico es un poco dificil el acceso con el auto si te tocan los glamping de mas arriba, sugeriria marcar mejor los caminos y cortar un poco las plantas de los costados, igual se entiende que este así para darle un aspecto mas natural, pero se complica a la hora de manejar.

Er was niets wat me niet beviel. Ik ga zelden 2 keer of vaker naar eenzelfde accommodatie maar dit park is de uitzondering op de regel.

"Wundervoll. Die Anlage ist wunderschön und sicher. Das Meer ist fußläufig erreichbar und sowohl Strand als auch Meer sind traumhaft. Die Unterkunft lässt in Sachen Ausstattung, Sauberkeit, Lage, Erreichbarkeit des Vermieters keine Wünsche offen."

Das Bett war bretthart, daran musste man sich erstmal gewöhnen. Das WiFi ist nicht so schnell und man muss es öfter mal neu starten.
