"De locatie, het was lekker dichtbij het centrum en treinstation op een kwartiertje lopen."

De straat was momenteel opengebroken en de receptie was op 1e verdieping. Vanaf daar wel een lift naar boven. Maar de werste trap dus wel zelf sjouwen.

"This is a really great hostel. Perfectly located in the historic centre and yet close to restaurants and shops. A warm welcome and helpful staff throughout who all seem to enjoy their roles. They even provided a towel as well as fresh linen for the dormitory beds. Really nice design for the hostel - clean and bright."

"A Pleasant Surprise at Palm Garden! We booked Palm Garden without checking any reviews—only afterward did we take a look and feel a bit unsure. My husband even told me not to say anything about the booking, just to see how it was when we got there. But to our surprise, from the moment we arrived, everything was wonderful. At the doorstep, we were greeted by Madu at reception, who welcomed us with the warmest smile—as if we had known her for years! 😊 Our room was spotlessly clean, very spacious, with a large comfortable bed and a lovely balcony overlooking a beautiful view. It was clear that the staff really care about maintaining a high standard."

"De sfeer in het hostel was gemoedelijk. Fijne huiskamer om lekker te kunnen neerploffen op één van de banken, lekkere stoelen om voor de haard te zitten en tafels om bijvoorbeeld spelletjes te doen."

Een waterkoker op de kamer zou handig zijn om snel even een kopje thee te zetten.

"I stayed here after I had done a 12 day tour trough Mongolia. I just needed a room and shower for myself, since I didn’t have that for over a month (I was traveling elsewhere before the 12 day tour). I stayed 2 nights and the bed was super comfortable! The whole place is nice and clean and very close to a market where they sell everything for very cheap. It’s also an easy 20 minute walk from the central square. The lady was very nice and let me stay a bit longer on the day I had to check out, which was really helpful for me. Thanks again!"

"Superschoon! Heel aardig, behulpzaam personeel. Grote keuken met ruime koelkast. Erg leuk aangekleed. Per bed op slaapzaal eigen lampje, locker, leesplankje, gordijntje, kapstok. Zeer goed georganiseerd, met één nummer voor je schoenenkastje, je keukenkastje, je locker. Aparte badkamer met wc voor vrouwen, heel fijn! Van te voren goede informatie van eigenaar gekregen."

De matrassen zijn aan vervanging toe, 2 van de 3 waarop ik gelegen heb zakken door, zitten kuilen in. Een aparte vrouwenslaapzaal zou een goede aanvulling zijn (want helaas snurkten alle mannen op de mixed dorms).

"Quiet area just off the Main Street. 10mins walk from the beach. Clean, cozy and chill vibes. Conducive environment to interact with other guests as well. Friendly hosts who provided great information on surrounding attractions."

Sehr rustikal, viele Moskitos im Zimmer, die ziemlich genervt haben, kein Ventilator, aber zum Schlafen gab es aber ein Moskitonetznetz! leider hat es immer wieder geregnet und da das Badezimmer draussen war, musste ich durch den Regen, am WC hat es auch geregnet, Kakalaken in der Dusche und dem WC

"Just a regular hostel with rooms. The walls are thin so you can easily hear some noise from other guests. If you need the place just to stay somewhere and rest - it’s OK, but don’t expect anything special from it."

"Het personeel was heel vriendelijk. De prijs-kwaliteitverhouding was zeer goed. Er was een gezellige sfeer met een mooi uitzicht op Tena. Ze hielpen ook met attracties die we wouden doen in Tena."
