"Wonderful friendly staff - Marie-Helene and the rest of the staff made us feel totally at home. Delicious freshly cooked food. Super calm and peaceful in beautiful surroundings - a tonic after Dakar and Saint Louis. Relatively accessible for Saloum Delta which we loved. Great air conditioning. Lovely swimming pool"

Water pressure was low at certain times - pipe being repaired, so perhaps temporary. You'll need a car to get around (we got a taxi for 10.000 - 15.000 CFA each way to Ndangane.)

"I stayed at Little Garden House and found it to be a charming and comfortable place, especially suitable for cyclists or other travelers looking for a peaceful stop. The location was a bit tricky to find at first, but once there, everything went smoothly. The host was very friendly and welcoming. She gave a helpful introduction to the facilities, including the cabin itself, the kitchen, and the shower area. The small cabin was cozy and pleasant, and the kitchen and sauna/shower located in an old outbuilding were also perfectly adequate for my needs. Overall, a nice and practical accommodation option in a quiet setting."

Het gemis van een comfortabel zitje bij de bungalow. Douchecabine is heel erg aan vervanging toe.

"Het personeel was erg vriendelijk, maar de ligging is verweg van de stad. Daarnaast is Victoria Falls niet echt een leuke plek om te verblijven."

Was a bit musty smelling, but after being opened up and aired out and a candle or two it was perfect.

"De gehele gezellige cottage, het uitzicht op de mooi onderhouden tuin en het zwembad. De slaapkamers waren ook zeer gezellig ingericht."

"Schitterende plek net ietsje buiten het drukke centrum, echter je loopt er binnen 8 minuten naartoe. Het huisje was ruim en van alle gemakken voorzien! Je hebt een beetje het gevoel of je onderdeel uitmaakt van de lokale bewoners: de kindergeluiden en muziek op straat (tot ongeveer 22.00), het vele hondengeblaf en een kakofonie van haaiengekraai in de vroege ochtend. Hier moet je dus wel een beetje tegen kunnen. Er is niet echt een receptie, dus je moet het zelf een beetje uitzoeken, maar dat heeft ook wel weer zijn charme en voelt of het je eigen huisje is."

"If you are looking for an exceptional place to stay on the Coromandel peninsula, this is it. The Lodge is quite large with everything you could need: kitchenette, couch and TV, comfy bed, large bathroom (tub + huge shower), terrace and the a spectacular view of Whitianga! As you would expect, it was very quiet, and the layout is such that, that you can enjoy total privacy. Carol and Warren were very welcoming and we had a nice chat every morning with Warren as he brought us a lovely breakfast. The road up the lodge is fairly steep but it wasn't an issue at all, so if you have a decent car I wouldn't worry about it. While in our particular case, we didn't have the best weather throughout the stay, we appreciated that the lodge is furnished so as to feel like home, which made for a cozy day in. I could tell that there was a lot of thought put into the furnishing and decorating of the lodge!"

"The mountains scenery and the serenity of the place make Le massif de Laqlouq an ideal getaway. During our stay, we felt we are well taken care of; the staff was constantly checking upon us and assisting us with any request."

A perfect, relaxing destination.

"Het appartement was echt ruim en uiterst charmant en gezellig. De keuken was gerieflijk en goed ingericht. Er was een handige voorraad: koffie, olie, kruiden... De gastvrouw was zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam."

Wij wandelen graag maar we kwamen er al snel achter dat we beter de auto konden gebruiken om ons naar een goed vertrekpunt te begeven. De weg was vrij druk en er was geen plaats voor wandelaars.
