Het stapelbed waarin we sliepen wiebelde erg en stond niet stevig. De matrassen zijn ook redelijk hard

"Excellent accommodation, clean, comfortable, and in a great location. The host was very helpful and everything was exactly as described. Highly recommended!"

"We hebben gezien dat deze mensen met heel veel passie deze camping & glamping runnen. Alles wat tip top in orde! De gastvrouw des huize heeft een moestuin voor kruiden. Daar maakt ze zeer lekkere confituren en siropen van. De gastheer raadde ons 2 wandelingen aan! Die we ook allebei gedaan hebben. Eentje is om de omgeving te verkennen en lokale boeren te steunen die zeer lekkere kazen maken. Ook is er in de omgeving een traverin groeve, zeker de moeite waard! De andere wandeling was een zwaardere wandeling, de bergen in met zeer mooi uitzicht! Drie nachten in de boomhut was zalig. Het gaf me zelfs een nostalgisch gevoel. Zoals vroeger, naar de boomhut om te slapen, eten en ontspannen. Als we in de toekomst in de buurt zijn, komen we zeker terug!"

"The host was very kind. The property was very cleaned. I had to leave super early to the airport, the owner got up so early to prepare food for me to eat on the way to the airport. He was super kind."

It is a bit out of the town but ok if you have a car. If there are many guests you will have to queue to use the shower room and toilet as it is a shared Barth room property.

Beetje gedateerde inrichting.

"The owner, Pierce was very friendly as were the other workers here. Location was excellent as it was close to shops, restaurants and you can even walk to the ferry terminal. Included breakfast was good enough. Great views from the hotel. Good value for an expensive destination like St Thomas."

I had a shared bathroom but it seems like everyone was using it, not just the guests who were designated that bathroom. The walls are really thin and you can hear everything that people do in their rooms...

"Een fantastische ontvangst, een compacte ruimte van alle gemakken voorzien, op loopafstand van veel restaurants en winkels, maar bovenal de warmte en het openstellen van Jocelyn en Murray heeft ons erg geraakt. Zo'n lieve en hartelijke mensen die ervoor hebben gezorgd dat wij een thuis hadden ver van huis! ❤️🫶"

"Superb beddings, towel, toiletries, free slippers. Excellent newly refurbished facility. Wonderful and very accomodating staff, Ms Anne and the Kuyas. :)"

"De ligging is daar geweldig! De eigenaar super lief en heel behulpzaam, we zouden daar zeker een keer terug gaan en het iedereen aanraden. Ook de locale mensen daar waren geweldig."

Nog niet alles is af maar daar is de prijs ook naar.

"The way they treated me is out of my expectations. They understood my situation of flights cancellation, modification and of course my financial changes. I really loved the staff, cleaning, friendly environment, cooking facilities and much more. Suggests everyone to come and enjoy luxurious facilities at low cost. Hats off to Penthouse Hotel."

Their is nothing i can assume to be bad. Everything was above my expectations. Everyone should try it at least. No one will say that they found something bad on this hotel.

Un poco retirado del centro de Petra. Pero en 30 Minutos caminando se hacía.

"I arrived late and the taxi driver was unsure of the location. However the owner ( manager) came out to meet us and showed me the cabin, there was a language barrier as I don’t speak French, however with the help of google translate this was overcome. The breakfast was good and plentiful with egg, dates, yoghurt and bread with a juice and coffee. The owner was very helpful despite the language, the cabins are functional and good fun and first thing I walked (30 seconds) to the beautiful beach at sunrise!"

"My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at Watercolours between the 17-24 December 2025 and would thoroughly recommend it! The hosts are wonderful, remarkably kind and hospitable - they made our first experience of Bermuda very special, adding a touch of magic to a much needed break. Watercolours is a beautiful home, very tastefully decorated, with the guest rooms luxurious and well appointed. Much thought and consideration has gone into making sure every need is met, so that it really feels like a home from home. Also helpful advice about where to go and how to get there with bus/ferry tickets available to purchase from the host rather than having the hassle of buying these from the bus station. We were so fortunate to have booked this place - it was outstanding in every way!"

"Heel sfeervol, mooie inrichting, goed bed en balkon"

Moeilijk te vinden omdat het niet aan de straatkant ligt.

"The hospitality of the staff exceeded our expectations! We felt welcomed and cared for, including special dietary needs. The location is perfect for getting around El Yunque rainforest and the east side of the island. It’s also a convenient (about 30 min) drive to the airport and San Juan. We enjoyed the mountain and jungle location as opposed to the city. Make sure you don’t book activities too early in the morning that you miss out on an extraordinary breakfast! Give yourself time to relax in the common area and hammocks. The bed was very comfortable! We also felt very safe."

The only suggestion would be adding screens to the windows so we could sleep with the windows open to the sounds of the jungle.

"The host was very kind and helpful. He kept me good company and he showed me around his village and Panjakent. The food he served was very good too!"

It had everything you need in a guesthouse. However, some reforms need to be made, but the host told me he's working on it

"We had a pleasant stay for our ski week. Ski slopes are very close and can be reached within minutes by foot. Our host was very kind and helpful in everything. The restaurant under the accomodation serves delicious food, perfect for after ski dinners. No noise can be heard above from restaurant. Rooms are very clean and well equipped, we had everything needed for our daily routine. We will probably return later on."

We didn't experience any negatives.

"Good and quiet location. Positive was parking in the yard, rooms were spacious."

The only downside was that the restaurant was closed due to the holidays.

"Paolo is a wonderful host. He's warm and kind. He immediately offered us coffee when we arrived. We felt right at home. The house was clean enough. We also had a nice breakfast. I highly recommend it."

"De in eerste instantie geboekte kamer had net even wat te weinig comfort(Geen warm water).Een upgrade naar een andere kamer op een locatie iets verder op was en prima zet.Goede ruimte goed comfort"

"Set in nature very relaxed atmosphere. Breakfast was good. Taxi came to pick us up at the airport. Felt looked after."

"Mooie accommodatie met op de kamer alles wat nodig is voor je verblijf. De locatie is mooi rustig gelegen, maar Antwerpen is met de tram goed bereikbaar. Zeer vriendelijk personeel. Heerlijk en uitgebreid ontbijt. Kortom: top en voor herhaling vatbaar."

"Personeel enorm vriendelijk en meedenkend, hadden zelfs een verrassing voor mijn jarige vrouw (zang, gebak en bloemetje uit eigen tuin), er was zelfs wifi (als er stroom was)"

Je hebt een 4x4 nodig om er te komen, zeker als het heeft geregend. Stroom is er meer niet dan wel, maar daar hebben ze een generator voor.

"Amazing place! Spotless room with a balcony and a truly breathtaking view. Delicious breakfasts every day. The owners are incredibly kind and helpful, always happy to assist and organize activities. Kayaks available for guests. The bay is just a short walk away, making the location perfect. Absolutely loved our stay — highly recommended!"
