Helaas mocht je niet zwemmen in de zee en het zwembad was te warm.

Zwembad was niet verwarmd en te koud om in te zwemmen in december, maar dat is begrijpelijk.

"I had never been to an all inclusive resort before and was sceptical and personally probably will never do it again but nothing to do with the Bareclo, simply my preference but the resort was totally amazing considering the price. I had one of the bungalows which has large vey well decorated and very comfortable likewise the bathroom. Considering the size of the resort the WiFi was excellent . I never used the pool which was huge but instead the beach and swam several times The beach is stunning and spotlessly clean as to the gardens they are stunning and so well kept. The staff were so friendly and helpful especially so the ones in the dining room I have never seen such a volume of food being served ( and consumed !) in such vast qualities and the staff there in my view were so patient considering what they were dealing with! Overall I cannot fault the resort in any major way you get amazing value for money … congratulations to Barcelo"

The checking in process is very unwieldy on arrival I joined a queue of at least 50 people I got there in the early afternoon and they simply would not let anyone in to their room before 3 pm And surely some of rooms were really and why allow check ins as was available . This is not the first time I have come across this attitude The resort is large and at first it was difficult to find your bungalow as it’s not overly well signposted The was an entertainment lady around the pool screaming down a microphone … why is that necessary ? Overall it was a great stay Well done Barcelo

"Heel Gastvrij, men nam de tijd om ons welkom te heten en naar de tafel te brengen. Er was een heel groot gevarieerd aanbod aan ontbijt inclusief meerdere glutenvrije opties. Bij de ontbijtbar was het mogelijk om specifieke wensen te vermelden en eieren zoals eggs benedict. Ook de handdoekservice bij het zwembad en privestrand was geweldig."

De prijzen van de restaurants zijn wat aan de hoge kant. De cocktails mochten wat gevarieerder zijn in aabod. Parkeertarief voor de auto valt tegen en zou inclusief mogen zijn.

"Nette kamer met heerlijk bed en ruime badkamer. Het ontbijt is voortreffelijk en je kunt er ook goed avondeten. Ideaal ook voor avonturiers op de motor er is veel ruimte om te parkeren."

Er was geen warm water beschikbaar. Het resort is nieuw of recent vernieuwd en ze hebben dat nog niet helemaal goed geregeld. Het tweede bed zou opgemaakt worden, maar dat werd pas na 3x vragen gedaan.

"Ik verbleef in de dorm maar kreeg wel toegang tot alle faciliteiten van het hotel: sauna, zwembad, ontbijt en ook lag er een badjas en zeepjes klaar. Locatie is top!"

Badkamer van de dorm was zeer verouderd en rook niet fris. Heb bij de sauna gedoucht.

"Staff is amazing, the kindest people we’ve met in Ulcinj over the last 10 years. Everything is super clean, location is perfect, the breakfast is nice. Overall, a great experience for a family with a toddler!"

"The villa had great privacy, beautiful landscaping, a good layout for our group. It was well-equipped with essentials for cooking/serving. The salt pool was perfect for cooling off after a hike. It was just big enough and always seemed to be at the right temperature. We were delighted by fireflies, tree frogs, bats, local birds, and even a shy ginger cat that wandered past once or twice."

THE ROAD- while we expected a rough access road from reading previous reviews, the construction during our stay detoured us through the banana plantation over an intolerably (for anyone with neck/back problems) rough track that was 4x longer. While the ocean (not a swimming beach) is close enough to hear, there is not much view. It is a peek from one corner of the pool deck, and the upper bedroom. But again, wonderful privacy. Also of note- there are no bug screens on the windows. It was perhaps an assumption on our part with the newer construction, but the mosquitoes did cause some distress, especially for one member of our group. Bring bug spray, After-Bite (anti-itch), and Benadryl if you are prone to reactions.

Overal is aan gedacht, s”ochtends liggen al nieuwe handdoeken klaar op de bedjes op het strand, de parasols worden zo gezet dat je de hele dag schaduw kunt hebben, iedere keer gekoeld water bij je strandbedje. De bedjes staan uit elkaar voor privacy. Je huurauto parkeren voor de deur, fijne restaurantjes op prima rijafstand. Een gevulde koelkast met allerlei complimentary drankjes, zelfs een ijsemmer met welkomchampagne bij aankomst. De inrichting van het strandrestarant zo sfeervol. De tennisbanen, de fitness de lessen. Tot in de kleinste details geregeld, persoonlijk, fijne sfeer, grote kamers, vriendelijkheid van iedereen zelfs met de honden van buurtbewoners werd goed omgegaan."

de faciliteiten hebben wel wat liefde nodig (vooral het afgekleurde hout overal op de terrassen, in de bar, enz.), het ziet er minder goed uit dan op de foto's. Ook behoorlijk duur (ik ben niet overtuigd van de prijs-kwaliteit, maar alles op de Seychellen is duur natuurlijk), ook ver gelegen van het stadje of andere activiteiten maar voor ons was dit minder een probleem

"The hotel is great and in an amazing location which is right inside the airport. Staff were polite and amazing, great buffet breakfast, there is mini zoo which had wildlife such as monkeys, crocodile, tortoise, parrot, ostriches, peacocks etc. The rooms and facilities was great and it was a great stay. They provided free shuttle to the airport which is a bonus."

The pool could do with a bit of cleaning.

Eigenlijk niets wat tegen viel

"L'hôtel en cette saison au bord du Lac Inle est magique. Les chambres sont belles et la vue sur le sac est splendide. Le personnel est souriant et très professionnel. Le patron de l'hôtel à l'écoute et très réactif. A recommander"

Le prix reste un peu cher pour le Myanmar dans le contexte politique actuel même si il se comprend. Le confort du lit, matelas, était mauvais. Les coupures d'électricité durant tout un après-midi sont aussi à prendre en compte. Enfin les matelas et les serviettes autour de la piscine semblent une option.

Couldn’t find any ramp which could be wheel chair friendly. A ramp could be introduced for ease of moving luggage’s and for elderly people.

Only the lack of internet. There are no connexion even with data. So it can be frustrating when connexion is needed (to check flight for exemple)

"Arjuna Villa ligt op een prachtige plek boven de zee, die hier woest is waardoor je overal de golven hoort, een heerlijk geluid. Er is een prachtig zwembad dat heerlijk koel is en perfect schoon. Je zwemt als het ware boven de golven. De kamers zijn mooi gemaakt en hebben allemaal een ruim terras. We hadden een vraag i.v.m. beperkte mobiliteit en kregen een prima gelegen kamer. Het terrein is prachtig en de verzorging door Mina is perfect. Vragen en het wordt geregeld."

Het is denk ik handig om bij aankomst aan de gasten te vertellen of er automatisch dagelijks wordt schoongemaakt of dat dat gevraagd moet worden en of er dagelijks schone handdoeken worden gebracht.

A little tired in places - could do with a bit of a spruce up such as a lick of paint on all the walls, new carpets in the common areas (stairs) etc. Seemed to be a lot of staff but not a lot of guests (although the staff were lovely).
