It was not easy to get service on the tables near the beach. The sun beds did not have cushions so were uncomfortable to lay on.

"Magic Reef is a beautiful resort, very relaxing. The bungalows are well equipped and the bed was very comfortable. It was also great to have our own comfortable lounge chairs on the deck to take in the views out over the reef, watching the waves crashing and the sun setting which was all simply breathtaking. There are a few really good restaurants within walking distance down the beach, making it a perfect spot for a relaxing time. We hired a car for a couple of days to explore around the island, enjoy some beach swimming, snorkeling and to eat at some different restaurants. The pool was great, lovely temperature and depth. Our hosts and all the staff were friendly, helpful and we enjoyed talking with them. Thanks for the beautiful platter in the fridge, the beers, juice etc which was so appreciated. We would highly recommend Magic Reef if you like a small boutique resort."

"I had never been to an all inclusive resort before and was sceptical and personally probably will never do it again but nothing to do with the Bareclo, simply my preference but the resort was totally amazing considering the price. I had one of the bungalows which has large vey well decorated and very comfortable likewise the bathroom. Considering the size of the resort the WiFi was excellent . I never used the pool which was huge but instead the beach and swam several times The beach is stunning and spotlessly clean as to the gardens they are stunning and so well kept. The staff were so friendly and helpful especially so the ones in the dining room I have never seen such a volume of food being served ( and consumed !) in such vast qualities and the staff there in my view were so patient considering what they were dealing with! Overall I cannot fault the resort in any major way you get amazing value for money … congratulations to Barcelo"

The checking in process is very unwieldy on arrival I joined a queue of at least 50 people I got there in the early afternoon and they simply would not let anyone in to their room before 3 pm And surely some of rooms were really and why allow check ins as was available . This is not the first time I have come across this attitude The resort is large and at first it was difficult to find your bungalow as it’s not overly well signposted The was an entertainment lady around the pool screaming down a microphone … why is that necessary ? Overall it was a great stay Well done Barcelo

"The hotel is located very close to the beach, you can also use the outdoor and indoor pool. The indoor pool is especially nice when the weather is colder. The price also includes a nice wellness. It is great to have the option to buy lunch and dinner. All the food was excellent."

Luide muziek uit een andere lokatie aan welfare road. Doordat wij 2 slaapkamers hadden, was het voor ons mogelijk om de slaapkamer aan zee te kiezen. Hier hadden wij geen geluidsoverlast

De toeslag voor een paar garnalen in de 15 dollar caesar salade bleek maar liefst 18 dollar te zijn.

Check air conditioner operation before sleeping! We down graded to beach front from water bungalow but didnt get discount or reimbursement from booking dot com. :( Had noisy neighouring resort from parties over 2 days.

"Het verblijf was uitstekend. Enkel het avondmaal vond ik iets minder voor de prijs. Het personeel was echter enorm vriendelijk. Twee medewerkers die ons bijzonder zijn bijgebleven vanwege hun vriendelijkheid en sociale houding zijn Souhaib en Badr."

Het allinclusive gedeelte het eten viel ons tegen.

"Heerlijk Resort, groot verwarmd zwembad. Ook met gratis ligbedden op het mooie strandje aan de andere kant van de weg (bereikbaar via tunnel of oversteekplaats). Gratis ruime bewaakte parkeergelegenheid. Lounge met snacks en heerlijk gebak etc. Op loopafstand van de Nightmarket in Kenting (5 minuten lopen naar het begin). Veel faciliteiten, oa SPA en talloze dingen om te doen voor kinderen of volwassenen."

La cama se movía se movía mucho y se corría del lugar muy incómodo de verdad El tv nunca funcionó Llamamos a recepción y nunca contestaron Mucha gente en recepción ala hora de la entrada

"It was very clean and there was a range of different food and drink options which were all great. The staff were super friendly. The room was comfortable and spacious with a great view from our balcony."

"From arriving up to leaving, it was perfect! The rooms are comfortable and clean. Stuff is always doing the best service, from the reception over the cleaning staff to the restaurant! Even there was a animation for kids at the pool what our son really enjoyed. The Chef cooking delicious meals and sharing some special tip to make your food better! The waiters have done always a great job , Jonathan was always having some jokes to made us laugh. Cleaning staff always was respecting your privacy and when told them come back at time they was at the point! At the point a perfect stay what I can just recommend."

"Vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel, dat altijd tijd had voor vragen of hulp. Fijne voorzieningen met padelbanen (waar we graag gebruik van gemaakt hebben). FIjne ruime kamer, met goede bedden en inrichting."

De prijzen van dienstverlening van het sportcentrum waren erg hoog. Padelles ruim 2x zo duur als aan de Costra Brava, ook de massage was 80 euro voor een uur. En die viel nog tegen ook, doordat er verschillende, tegenstrijdigen prijs- en mogelijkheid lijsten waren. Dit is niet goed opgelost, tegen de verwachtingen die geschept zijn in.

"Ligging zeer rustig aan de golfbaan dichtbij de luchthaven. Mooie nieuwe kamers met alle voorzieningen en uitzicht over de golfbaan. Gratis parkeren. Vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel en goed restaurant voor prima prijs. Wat wil je nog meer?"

Het (enorme) bed was naar onze smaak iets te zacht.

"De locatie beviel me het beste. Lekker bij het strand en dicht bij alles. Bus stopte voor de deur."

Het eten was beperkt. Weinig variatie en weinig tafels om aan te zitten. Moest vaak wachten.

"Nette kamer met heerlijk bed en ruime badkamer. Het ontbijt is voortreffelijk en je kunt er ook goed avondeten. Ideaal ook voor avonturiers op de motor er is veel ruimte om te parkeren."

Er was geen warm water beschikbaar. Het resort is nieuw of recent vernieuwd en ze hebben dat nog niet helemaal goed geregeld. Het tweede bed zou opgemaakt worden, maar dat werd pas na 3x vragen gedaan.

"De schitterende locatie met prachtig uitzicht over de zee, het super vriendelijke en behulpzame personeel, maar ook zeker het hotel zelf met alle faciliteiten/activiteiten die inbegrepen zijn!"

In sommige kamers is de hygiëne binnen de badkamer niet heel erg schoon. Kitranden van de douche en toilet zijn vies/zwart. Ook loopt het water tijdens het douchen de badkamer in, waardoor dit een waterballet wordt.

"I have never been to a Taj before, so I have nothing to compare it to. The lobby is impressive and the location with direct access to the beach is great. The staff is lovely and the housekeeping do so much for you, Saudtha I believe, checked on us regularly and brought us more water or towels."

When a twin is converted into a double room, one of the guests end up without space to put their things and the light switches are at the wrong place.
