We would have preferred for our rooms to be closer together however we appreciate that the hotel was able to accommodate our additional request to have the rooms on the first floor in order to accommodate my elderly mom.

"I recently had the pleasure of staying at 千年オリーブテラス for wellness, and it was truly a remarkable experience. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The quality of the hotel is excellent, with every detail thoughtfully catered to for a relaxing stay. The ambiance is wonderfully chill, perfect for unwinding. One of the highlights was watching the stunning sunsets from our balcony—a truly magical view. I highly recommend 千年オリーブテラス for anyone seeking a serene retreat. I can't wait to return!"

A little tired in places - could do with a bit of a spruce up such as a lick of paint on all the walls, new carpets in the common areas (stairs) etc. Seemed to be a lot of staff but not a lot of guests (although the staff were lovely).

Zwembad was niet verwarmd en te koud om in te zwemmen in december, maar dat is begrijpelijk.

Het eten was beperkt. Weinig variatie en weinig tafels om aan te zitten. Moest vaak wachten.

"A good hotel with a decent and tasty breakfast served in an interestingly located restaurant. The rooms are clean and spacious. It's pleasantly cool in summer even during the heat, although there's no air conditioning. A special highlight is the mountain river flowing nearby — you can hear its sound at night. The location is truly excellent, especially convenient because the free shuttle bus stop is right next to the hotel. In the pool, the water is very warm, but it was impossible to use it — all the spots around the pool were constantly occupied."

"Heel Gastvrij, men nam de tijd om ons welkom te heten en naar de tafel te brengen. Er was een heel groot gevarieerd aanbod aan ontbijt inclusief meerdere glutenvrije opties. Bij de ontbijtbar was het mogelijk om specifieke wensen te vermelden en eieren zoals eggs benedict. Ook de handdoekservice bij het zwembad en privestrand was geweldig."

De prijzen van de restaurants zijn wat aan de hoge kant. De cocktails mochten wat gevarieerder zijn in aabod. Parkeertarief voor de auto valt tegen en zou inclusief mogen zijn.

Even there was a animation for kids at the pool what our son really enjoyed. The Chef cooking delicious meals and sharing some special tip to make your food better! The waiters have done always a great job , Jonathan was always having some jokes to made us laugh. Cleaning staff always was respecting your privacy and when told them come back at time they was at the point! At the point a perfect stay what I can just recommend."

"Het resort zien er heel mooi uit, het eten en de drankjes waren van goede kwaleit. Het is een klein maar fijn resort. Het personeel heeft een hele goede attitude en hebben plezier in hun job. De grootste troef van dit resort is dat kinderen er niet toegelaten zijn zodat je tenminste een rustige vakantie kan hebben zonder gejengel en gevleid rondom je."

De kamer viel tegen, ik had er meer van verwacht aangezien we een Superior Kamen hadden gereserveerd. Het bed voor mij persoonlijk te hard. Het doorspoelen van het wc ging niet, en we zaten opgesloten in de kamer omdat de deur van de kamer niet meer open ging, gelukkig werd dit heel snel opgelost door het personeel

"Just generally one of those special places that will stick in my memory forever. A collection of pretty little cabins by the beach surrounded by palm trees with hammocks slung between them for whiling away the days. With only the sounds of birds and waves. Where everyone just hangs out and chats, the staff, the other guests, the extremely interesting and gregarious owner Gregory (no pun intended). I could spend a week here just forgetting about the outside world. The various arrangements (airport transfer, transfer back to town, activities) all went smoothly as well. Which is my no means guaranteed in this part of the world."

Not much but if I went again I'd maybe pay a little more for the room with ensuite shower rather than sharing a communal shower with non locking door. Obviously this is budget accommodation in West Africa so it's of the rustic eco lodge variety rather than the western style hotel room variety in case anyone is expecting that.

The location is beautifully quiet and serene, away from the hustle of the city. Surrounded by nature and heritage charm, it felt like a perfect peaceful escape. The resort is not in walking distance to San Ignacio. You need a car (and worse a parking spot) to go there. This makes you dependent on the hotel‘s facilities and restaurant. Be aware that the breakfast included only means a small selection of breakfast choices. Whenever you want something extra eg eggs you pay extra! You pay a 10% „service charge“ on everything, even on the organization of tours, which is quite a ripoff. I did some activities organized by the hotel. These tours (especially the mayan cooking class) are real good, however as a single I had to pay for two people (minus a small discount). Moreover, tax & „service charge“ were added to the net prices mentioned in the flyer. Taken together this makes these tours unacceptably expensive.

At that price I expected a ceiling fan ,especially with the high humidity, and a hot shower , even under a black solar bag . And a linen change should have happened, after a few hot and humid nights , the sheets become greasy and unpleasant to sleep on .
