Super calm and peaceful in beautiful surroundings - a tonic after Dakar and Saint Louis. Relatively accessible for Saloum Delta which we loved. Great air conditioning. Lovely swimming pool"

Water pressure was low at certain times - pipe being repaired, so perhaps temporary. You'll need a car to get around (we got a taxi for 10.000 - 15.000 CFA each way to Ndangane.)

"If you are looking for an exceptional place to stay on the Coromandel peninsula, this is it. The Lodge is quite large with everything you could need: kitchenette, couch and TV, comfy bed, large bathroom (tub + huge shower), terrace and the a spectacular view of Whitianga! As you would expect, it was very quiet, and the layout is such that, that you can enjoy total privacy. Carol and Warren were very welcoming and we had a nice chat every morning with Warren as he brought us a lovely breakfast. The road up the lodge is fairly steep but it wasn't an issue at all, so if you have a decent car I wouldn't worry about it. While in our particular case, we didn't have the best weather throughout the stay, we appreciated that the lodge is furnished so as to feel like home, which made for a cozy day in. I could tell that there was a lot of thought put into the furnishing and decorating of the lodge!"

"Schitterende plek net ietsje buiten het drukke centrum, echter je loopt er binnen 8 minuten naartoe. Het huisje was ruim en van alle gemakken voorzien! Je hebt een beetje het gevoel of je onderdeel uitmaakt van de lokale bewoners: de kindergeluiden en muziek op straat (tot ongeveer 22.00), het vele hondengeblaf en een kakofonie van haaiengekraai in de vroege ochtend. Hier moet je dus wel een beetje tegen kunnen. Er is niet echt een receptie, dus je moet het zelf een beetje uitzoeken, maar dat heeft ook wel weer zijn charme en voelt of het je eigen huisje is."

"Prachtig gebouw dat veel ouder leek dan het was. Prachtig aangelegde tuinen, terrassen en zwembad.. Indrukwekkende visie op ecovriendelijk ondernemen."

"Great location, very quiet area, 5mins to walk to the seafront. Excellent for those who are looking relax and spend some quality time with themselves or family."

Room was a little bit smelly but it wasn’t a huge issue for us

De grote van het bed We sliepen goed, maar het bed had iets breder gekund.

"Comfortable stay in a Vintage house, outback-Australia style. Has all things in the kitchen to use if self catering.Hot shower .Central, close to a lovely beach and restaurants. But 2 km from main supermarket. Recommended"
