"De vriendelijkheid en gastvrijheid van het personeel was unaniem goed. Fijne locatie qua buurt voor Marakech. Hier kan je ongestoord rondwandelen in een buurt waar het netjes is en op 20 min kom je dan in een totaal andere wereld terecht. Fijn liggen aan de zwembaden, die door de vele afscheidingen een zeer rustig gevoel geeft. Zeer verzorgd hotel, superlekker eten in de restaurantjes, fenomenaal ontbijt. Een hotel die we meteen opnieuw zouden boeken. Wel viel ons op dat er veel te veel personeel rondloopt naargelang het werk dat er uitgevoerd wordt."

Wij hadden vertraging en konden niemand bereiken op dat ogenblik, maar chauffeur was blijven wachten tot we er waren. in vergelijking met onze reis daar 9 jaar geleden was het wel vernieuwd en meer en beter ontbijt."

De kamers zijn behoorlijk gehorig.

Por ahí tener un colcha de verano o similar. Y que el baño tenga cortina a fin de que no se moje todo al bañarse. Igual todo correcto.

"Zowel zee als zwembad, zee was heel toegankelijk. Kamers netjes, werden goed schoon gehouden."

Er mag meer daadkracht komen bij het management/ personeel. We hadden bij het zwembad veel last van luidruchtige, eigen regels makende, best grove hotel gasten die uit een land vlakbij Cyprus komen. Ondanks meerdere verzoeken van personeel bleef deze groep (10+ personen) doorgaan (gooide het op hun geloof en niet passend eten in het hotel en het niet mogen eten op hun hotelkamer vanwege hun geloof). Ze dronken zo veel eigen alcohol, rookten (wiet geur op diverse momenten) en schreeuwden zo erg dat mijn kinderen van 12 en 16 last ever niet bij het zwembad verbleven als de groep er was. Het heeft 3 dagen van de vakantie toch wel een negatieve smaak gegeven. Daarnaast is de ligging van het hotel ongeveer 30 min lopen van het oude centrum met betaalbare eettentjes. Hotel-Restaurants hadden hoofdzakelijk hetzelfde menu, weinig variatie.

The weakest part of the hotel is the restaurant catering for breakfasts and all meals: the place that looks like a canteen, is not welcoming. The prices for food are for too expensive. The food is good quality. Spiritless Hotel as it feels very empty.

The pool wasn't working 💔🥹it was my first priority when I was booking the place,and they told me when I was already checking in🤦‍♀️

Bij ontbijt is slechts normale koffie inbegrepen. een espresso wordt apart afgerekend. voor dit hotel met deze prijzen een beetje overdreven om dat ook nog te berekenen.

Great room and fabulous views of the bay. I loved waking up in the morning and watching the boats going up and down the bay.

Prices are very high, but the normal for French Guyana. Kourou is not a city for pedestrians. So, there is no good location - everything is far for a walk. By car, it is really close to the space center.

"Het hotel lag in een rustige buurt, waardoor je 's ochtends alleen vogels hoorde. De locatie was dichtbij alle bezienswaardigheden in de Old City. De kamers waren knus ingericht, de lobby zag er erg mooi uit en nodigde echt uit om te gaan zitten. Het ontbijt was goed en het personeel was zeer vriendelijk. De bedden waren heel comfortabel. De wifi werkte perfect."

De medewerkers (2 mannen) die in de ontbijtruimte werken. Ze zijn niet klantgericht en komen gefrustreerd over.

"Gastvrijheid, hulp bij vragen, welkomstdrankje. Lunchpakketje met drinken en eten voor onze trip naar Petra. Onthouden dat we de volgende dag naar Wadi Rum vertrekken. Avondeten ook een aanrader!"

De prijs was in realiteit nog iets hoger dan via booking.com werd aangegeven.

"+ Very friendly and helpful staff! Always smiling and polite. Breakfast is great value. Location is perfect for me. I very much enjoyed the swimming pool and there's a small gym too. I have stayed there 3 x."

Some of the bathrooms should be renovated, one leaked water even to the mainroom, which was dangerous. Even others have humidity damages and small cockroaches. I was twice bitten by insects during the night, probably bedbugs or ants, and had to ask the staff to spray my room again. Some of the sheets are obviously not pure cotton and itchy.

There is no wardrobe in the room and no hand tissue was provided. The price was very expensive for the room No shuttle to pick up from the airport
