"Our room faced the water. Great view. The room is spacious and comfortable. We stayed in a room before we rented the full house with a group of friends. Despite it being 5 rooms, sharing one bathroom, it never felt crowded. Good value for an otherwise expensive travel destination. The bus stop is right by the house and there was always available public parking."

"We hebben gezien dat deze mensen met heel veel passie deze camping & glamping runnen. Alles wat tip top in orde! De gastvrouw des huize heeft een moestuin voor kruiden. Daar maakt ze zeer lekkere confituren en siropen van. De gastheer raadde ons 2 wandelingen aan! Die we ook allebei gedaan hebben. Eentje is om de omgeving te verkennen en lokale boeren te steunen die zeer lekkere kazen maken. Ook is er in de omgeving een traverin groeve, zeker de moeite waard! De andere wandeling was een zwaardere wandeling, de bergen in met zeer mooi uitzicht! Drie nachten in de boomhut was zalig. Het gaf me zelfs een nostalgisch gevoel. Zoals vroeger, naar de boomhut om te slapen, eten en ontspannen. Als we in de toekomst in de buurt zijn, komen we zeker terug!"

"Personeel enorm vriendelijk en meedenkend, hadden zelfs een verrassing voor mijn jarige vrouw (zang, gebak en bloemetje uit eigen tuin), er was zelfs wifi (als er stroom was)"

Je hebt een 4x4 nodig om er te komen, zeker als het heeft geregend. Stroom is er meer niet dan wel, maar daar hebben ze een generator voor.

Entrance is hard to find, I first thought I was in the wrong place.

"Modern, clean, self contained with bedrooms having on-suite bathrooms which also provided convenience and privacy. minimalistic though everything you expect from a hotel accommodation/apartment we had , elements from the spa were also included dressing, gowns and slippers, beach towels. The air conditioning throughout the rooms was great keeping us cool when relaxing in such a hot period of the year"

"Location is ok, 10 minutes walk to Somerset MRT station. Cleanness was ok, not spotted but acceptable. Air conditioning worked well. As the cheapest private room with private bathroom in the whole city this place is worth its price. Good contact with owner via whatsapp. I would come back."

The owner does not treat this place like a hotel, so for example, toilet paper is replaced by the guests themselves.

Matras kon beter. Jammer genoeg geen airco op de kamer, op de bovenste verdieping wordt het tijdens een hitteperiode erg warm.

"Absolutely amazing! They were so kind to change our room because I have some mobility issues. We had the most delicious breakfast here. We're sorry we only spent one night at this property, as everything was just perfect"

"The hospitality of the staff exceeded our expectations! We felt welcomed and cared for, including special dietary needs. The location is perfect for getting around El Yunque rainforest and the east side of the island. It’s also a convenient (about 30 min) drive to the airport and San Juan. We enjoyed the mountain and jungle location as opposed to the city. Make sure you don’t book activities too early in the morning that you miss out on an extraordinary breakfast! Give yourself time to relax in the common area and hammocks. The bed was very comfortable! We also felt very safe."

The only suggestion would be adding screens to the windows so we could sleep with the windows open to the sounds of the jungle.

As a grown up solo traveller, who is oftentimes ready to accept challenging environments, I cannot make any critical remarks. Right now due to the russian full scale invasion, hospitality businesses all over Ukraine are struggling for survival, which makes critical remarks even more misplaced. The bottom line is – I liked the property.

Sehr bequemes Bett mit offenen Bettende und guter Matratze. Sehr ruhig. Frühstück mit verschiedener Wurst, Käse und Marmeladen und Gebäck. Vermieterin sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich."

Das kleine Badezimmer(chen) ist wirklich sehr klein. Ist aber kein Kritikpunkt, weil es wurde bei der Buchung schon drauf hingewiesen.

"Accomodation with history. The room was very nice and cozy. The owner was very nice, she cooked breakfast and dinner for us and it was possible to buy water there. When I was sick she made me tea and snack which I could take to the room. We had no car and they took us to Mavrovo. We really appreciate this! The location is also very good - near to Medenica and near to horse farm."

"De vriendelijke eigenaar, super relaxed, kamer goed, lekkere douche, voldoende van alles en zeker handdoeken 👍🏼. Het eten hoef je nergens anders te doen het wordt met veel liefde en passie gemaakt. Behalve de lunch doe je ergens anders. Zeer kleinschalig wat wij juist erg fijn vinden. Goed onderkomen om trips te ondernemen, natuurlijk de condors en de canyon. Kortom heerlijk verblijf om tot rust te komen, dus geen entertainment maar rust en natuur 🙏🏼"

Bij aankomst alleen fan op de kamer, maar nog nooit zó snel mijn wensen verhoord: de volgende dag werd er airco in de kamer aangelegd. Het hotel ligt ver weg (maar wel bussen/taxis).

Wc's en douches aan de overkant van de weg. Uiteraard alleen koude douches.

"Rustige locatie en met de taxi ben je snel in het centrum (6 min)..Ik had een tweepersoonskamer die erg comfortabel was. De bedden zijn heerlijk en de kamers schoon. Medewerkers zijn erg behulpzaam en denken graag met je mee. Er is een grote keuken waar je zelf kunt koken of iets kunt klaarmaken. Hele goede prijs kwaliteit verhouding en 's nachts lekker rustig!"

Je bent afhankelijk van een taxi of auto om naar het centrum te gaan, omdat lopen afgeraden wordt (ik reisde alleen). Op het buitenterrein stonden op vele plekken stoelen, maar geen relax- of ligstoelen om even lekker een boek te lezen. Dat had mijn verblijf nóg aangenamer kunnen maken.

"Endroit calme en plein centre de Nouakchott, petit jardin charmant avec piscine et surtout d'excellent petit-déjeuners réalisés maison, salade de fruits, pains frais tout droit venus de chez Eric Kayser (toujours juste ouvert à Nouakchott) et omelettes, cela fait plaisir."

"We stayed here in September after walking the Arctic circle trail. We were faster than expected, so we contacted the owner as soon as we arrived in town. He immediatly told us we could stay at the house and came to pick us up in 10min to bring us there. It is a bedroom in his home and he immediately made us feel very welcome. We had space in the fridge, the entire kitchen available and we were allowed to use the washing machine to clean all our stuff. The WiFi was also excellent. The host was very friendly and taught us lots about Greenland, Inuit culture and history and the surrounding area. He also offered to take us on a boat trip to the ghost village (at a much better rate than any other provider). All in all a great place to stay!"

As we were staying in someone's home and not a hotel, the place wasnt absolutely spotless, but it was clean and homey. It might not be to everybody's taste to share a bathroom with a family though.

"I arrived late and the taxi driver was unsure of the location. However the owner ( manager) came out to meet us and showed me the cabin, there was a language barrier as I don’t speak French, however with the help of google translate this was overcome. The breakfast was good and plentiful with egg, dates, yoghurt and bread with a juice and coffee. The owner was very helpful despite the language, the cabins are functional and good fun and first thing I walked (30 seconds) to the beautiful beach at sunrise!"

"They upgraded us to a better room in the Dar Alma hotel with a sea view. It was gorgeous, and the breakfast was delicious. One of the best places to stay in Tyre."

The flush in the bathroom didn't work, and they never came to fix it during our stay. Before arriving, they were very insistent in calling and asking for our arrival time, so I would reduce the communication with the staff if possible.

"The property is right next to Burwood train station, which made getting around super convenient. The price was reasonable and the overall value for money was excellent. Everything in the unit was easy and straightforward. Good for anyone looking for a convenient and budget-friendly place to stay."
