"Everything. The place is beautiful, super cozy, and very clean. You can really feel the love and attention to detail everywhere. The chill areas are great to relax, and the breakfast was more than decent. Amélie, the owner, is an amazing host – so kind, welcoming, and always ready to help. Her Auberge is truly a dream."

The only small downside was the location being a bit far from the central bus station, but that’s just a personal preference and didn’t affect the overall great experience.

"Dit is een hostel welke alles in de puntjes heeft uitgewerkt. Zeer sociaal maar geen party hostel. Iets wat ik erg waardeerde. Prijs-kwaliteit dik in orde. Personeel begroet je altijd. Erg vriendelijk!"

Het enige minpunt is dat je weinig privacy hebt in de gedeelde slaapzaal (geen gordijntjes aanwezig).

"Handy to bus stops and restaurants and s great bake/bread shop in front. The security is super and the people running it really nice. I like that they have soft towels and a bath mat in each room. All the extra touches to make it homey. Also there is a great laundry mat right next door. I have stayed there several times.(lol at the hostel. Not the laundry mat)"

"De jeugdherberg is mooi gelegen. Van daar kan je wandelingen maken en uitstappen met de bus, in Liechtenstein of over de grens. De tweepersoonskamer heeft een eigen badkamer, goede bedden, een gerieflijke kast, twee kleine tafeltjes als nachtkastjes, een grotere tafel en een ongemakkelijk zitje. Maar er zijn veel zitgelegenhden in het mooie ruime gebouw. Het eten is er goed."

A short walk uphill lands you at a central interception from which all directions of pedestrian pathways are possible to explore the city and sights."

Food shops & markets in the district are regionally expensive. The area for basic cold food storage and microwave reheating of food needs a serious update. For the number of guests the refrigerator is way to small. The small microwave does not fit common delivery food packages, or a standard dinner plate for reheating.

"Vriendelijke en behulpzame eigenaar. Hij is erg gastvrij en doet zijn best om met weinig middelen een fijn verblijf aan te bieden. De kritische opmerkingen zijn ook niet bedoeld als negatief, maar als eerlijke opmerking voor wat je kunt verwachten."

De badkamers waren schoon, maar de douchekop kon je nergens ophangen. Geen WiFi, net als in de rest van Oost-Timor, dus zorg voor een Timorese simkaart.

"Het personeel helpt je graag en denkt graag met he mee, als je hulp nodig hebt met navigeren of busritjes of iets dergelijks. Het geeft een erg huiselijk gevoel om daar binnen te zijn. Je kan gezellig wat drinken ook het personeel doet gezellig mee. Daarnaast doen ze ook pubcrawls en eten gezellig samen als je daar behoefte aan hebt."

Laat in de avond had ik wat hulp nodig van het personeel maar kon ik ze nergens vinden. Uiteindelijk heb ik het zelf opgelost, verder was het echt prima en heb ik erg genoten van mijn verblijf daar

"De kamer was ruim en schoon. Het ontbijt was lekker. We konden zelfs om 06:00 ‘s ochtends inchecken!"

"Personeel was heel aardig en behulpzaam. Goede locatie in Milaflores en faciliteiten zoals ontbijt zijn goed."

Douche was lauw en de muren zijn dun. Dus je hoort de kamers naast je wel goed.

1. No elevator, 2. No mirror in the bed room, 3. No shower curtain in the bathroom, wooden floor make sounds while walking

"Het is een rustige kamer. Zonder te veel gekke fratsen."

De kamer was aan de kleine kant voor twee personen. Als je verliefd bent is het goed.

"Rustige buurt op loopafstand van het centrum. Relaxte sfeer enntuun met leuke zitjes."
