"Looked almost brand new in the rooms. And hallways. Floors and bathrooms were spotless."

"Hele fijne ligging, vlak bij het centrum. De kamers en badkamers waren schoon en fijn! Er was ook een fijne tv kamer!"

De keuken was een beetje klein, dus dat werd nogal druk in de avond. Ook was er niet heel veel zitplek.

"Centraal gelegen in Vianden. Klassieke jeugdherberg, behoorlijk gerenoveerd. Dik in orde."

Horrible bed because you feel all bed springs from the mattress which significantly affects your sleeping. Moreover, air conditioning is very noisy even when it is not turned on.

"De manager Debbie was erg aardig. Ze dacht goed met ons mee, en regelde een betrouwbare taxi voor ons. De ligging is handig, en alle faciliteiten waren schoon."

"De sfeer in het hostel was gemoedelijk. Fijne huiskamer om lekker te kunnen neerploffen op één van de banken, lekkere stoelen om voor de haard te zitten en tafels om bijvoorbeeld spelletjes te doen."

Een waterkoker op de kamer zou handig zijn om snel even een kopje thee te zetten.

"Doba and his family were exceptionally welcoming, outgoing, and fun. We spent three nights at chez doba, and went on two hikes each day, to different waterfalls, viewpoints, and villages. In the evening we played football with the children and drank beer and tea with the locals. Special shoutout to Amadou, our guide for our stay - a great guy! Highly highly highly recommend Campement Chez Doba to anyone visiting Senegal, its been the highlight of our trip. We also booked onto an extra trip with Doba to tour a nearby bedik village, which was very picturesque! Doba Tours also offers other tours around Senegal, including Dakar and Niocolo Koba National Park, which we didnt use, but heard good things from other guests. The food was good and the bedrooms were clean and comfortable!"

Everthing was perfect

"Kelly and his family are amazing hosts. We feel in family! :-) Kelly is so helpful and talkative, always able to give suggestions and help finding activities to do, contacts, etc. His son, Junior, went with us to many places and activities and we fell him like a younger brother! :-) All the family made us feel welcome and at "home far from home". Installations are simple, but in a nice location, in the countryside, quite and friendly place, not far from Goroka center/easy bus connections but we have everything we needed, even to cook our meals. If you want a simple and family place to stay, with someone who will help you around, this is the place! If once I go back PNG and Goroka, I'll stay here again! :-) Thanks Kelly, Junior and family! Hope to see you again!"

It's normal to have light and water cuts. But it's common in the region/general problem and not from the place.

"De locatie, het was lekker dichtbij het centrum en treinstation op een kwartiertje lopen."

De straat was momenteel opengebroken en de receptie was op 1e verdieping. Vanaf daar wel een lift naar boven. Maar de werste trap dus wel zelf sjouwen.

"Hartelijk ontvangst en vriendelijke eigenaars. De bedden zijn opgemaakt en er zijn handdoeken ter beschikking. Er is airco aanwezig wat in de zomer erg handig is. In de keuken wordt er gratis koffie en thee aangeboden. Er staat ook een frigo die kan gebruikt worden. Voor de mannen waren er 3 douches wat ideaal was."

Het is wel minimalistisch allemaal maar waarschijnlijk kom je hier niet voor 2 weken vakantie dus is het prima
