The location is on 28 minute drive from Masjid e Nabawi. Taxi would be costly.

"That’s amazing studio flat in a very nice hotel. It is sad that is sharing apartment, but you don’t share anything. You have your private bathroom, washing machine, private kitchen, private balcony, the only thing you share is one door to get to your flat. There are food shops and restaurants all around. Tram and bus stops very close. Metro station is about 1 km away, but you can take tram to get there, it takes two stops. Apartment was clean, nice clean white sheets, clean good towel, shampoo and hair conditioner. Security downstairs so you feel absolutely safe. Location is good for taking a walk by the marina to see yachts and a wonderful view to all buildings around. Wi-fi was good."

There is nothing in the kitchen, no spoons, no forks, no cups, no plates, absolutely empty. I had to buy a cup just to make coffee. Had to wait host for 1,5 hour. The main things to see are far away from the property, you need to take metro and ride 10-15 stops to see burj khalifa, the frame, future museum and ect. At least it’s one line. There was bad smell in the kitchen (can’t understand where it was coming from) had to keep balcony’s door open all the time. Very noisy street outside, cars and trams traffic all the time.

This is a new guesthouse and they are still getting all the facitilties that a western tourist would expect, but everything important was there including shower, cooking facilities, chairs and tables in the patio and a barbeque!

"Prima verblijf, ruime kamer met airco, de eigenaren doen alles om jou het naar je zin te maken. Heeft ook taxi bedrijf. Bi dus liet mij ook nog prachtige watervallen laten zien, die had ik zelf nooit gevonden. Ook een aanrader het eten. Verrukkelijk!"

"Locatie is wellicht iets ‘minder’ geen fantastisch uitzicht en vanaf het huis is het een klein stukje lopen/rijden naar dorpje. Voor mij was dit prima. Ontbijt en dinner gehad, waren beide super. Kevin is erg vriendelijk en relaxt, wat een verblijf bij hem fijn maakt."

Ik verbleef in twee verschillende kamers: de loft 2 voor eerste dag en drie dagen in the cottage. The loft prima accommodatie, en keurige inrichting. The cottage: verouderd en heeft opknap beurt nodig: badkamer, douche, vloer en muren outdated en versleten. Sloten om binnen te komen in slechte staat.

"We werden zeer vriendelijk ontvangen met een welkomstdrankje. Kregen handige informatie van de omgeving en wandeling in Cirque de Mafata. We konden de bagage voor enkele dagen achterlaten zodat we de auto met gerust hart konden parkeren op parkeerplaats bij start wandeling. Echt een aanrader voor 2 of 4 personen."

De cottage en directe heeft alleen basis voorzieningen. Voor boodschappen of restaurant heb je wel de auto nodig.

"Super kind and helpful hosts (speak Spanish, English and French). Very big and well equipped rooms, hammocks and comfy seats to relax in the tropical garden, with various plants and trees... A restaurant just next door and a supermarket in short walking distance... only 15min to the airport... Very comfy bed and warm water shower... Would highly recommend this place!"

Absolutely enjoyed our stay. loved listening to her speak of her children. the love in her eye's that that shows for her children and moko's that live in Aotearoa when speaking of them. As well as her belated husband. Thank you so much for everything and opening up your home and making us feel like family I will always remember the aroha that you have shown us whilst our visit to Rarotonga. "We had a truly great stay at Vila Davor, Turistička 8- Peštani. The location is phenomenal, at least in our case with small children, because the apartment is less than 10 meters from the private beach with sunbeds. In same house there is a beach bar and kayak and sup board rental. There is a supermarket and several restaurants of national cuisine nearby. As for sightseeing, the entire area around the lake and the Galicica National Park are a 15-20 minute drive away. The host is pleasant and ready to help in any way that would make the stay more pleasant (cheers Mishko). The house is a little bit older, but the apartment is clean and tidy. The kitchen is shared and with basic things as it is noted in the offer so that is not a complaint. It is a bit more difficult to park if you have a large vehicle, but the host can find you a safe and large parking lot in the immediate vicinity. And the biggest plus at least for us- they are pet friendly."

"We wilden snel wat boeken voor een paar uur. Dit had goede recencies en was goedkoop. Dicht bij de grens. Maar dat zijn alle hotels in Edirne. Maar dan liever 20 euro meer voor een ander hotel."

3 persoonskamer kon je bijna niet staan. Het was een kamer van ongeveer 3x3 meter. Er stond 1 x tweepersoonsbed en 1x eenpersoonsbed naast elkaar. Badkamer was op de gang en gezamelijk gebruik. Het ergste was dat er geen airco was met 35 graden! Er was een plafondvetilator maar die was echt niet voldoende.

We were just abit surprised in the beginning that it was a shared house....so maybe just a clearer description online

"De fietsen waren in goede staat! Eten met lekker glas rode wijn was lekker. Het personeel was wel vriendelijk en de pick up aan de ferry met de scooters is een leuke ervaring."

De eigenaar was enkel beschikbaar via Whatsapp. Dit was heel jammer want van een homestay had ik verwacht dat er een conversatie (ook al is het met behulp van een vertalingsapp) mogelijk is in vivo voor o.a. onze volgende stappen te boeken. Zeker gezien Grab met taxi’s er niet is. Alleen scooters wat niet handig is met twee kinderen en onze rugzakken. Het zwembad dat je op de foto’s ziet is niet in de homestay zelf en een extra kost.

"Een oase van rust in een stad die nooit slaapt, met eenvoudige, maar nette kamers. Karima is enorm behulpzaam. En maakt de beste ontbijtjes."

Het is even een puzzel om door het labyrint van steegjes te komen. Volg de witte pijlen en je komt er vanzelf. Maar dat moet je even weten.
