Chalets in Noord-Macedonië

"Excellent location, just a short walk from Lonnoc Beach and a 15 minute walk from the famous Champagne Beach; 20 minute ride to Port Olry. There is a small village (Hog Harbour Village) nearby, about a 20 minute walk, where you can buy local bread and fruit. Accommodation is very basic but serves its purpose. Mosquito coils and nets are provided. The local who looked after us, Melody, was very welcoming and kind, and made us delicious breakfasts and dinners. There were no kayaks available but they can be rented from the neighbouring Lonnoc Beach Bungalows."

Drainage in the shower is poor and the floor quickly becomes wet and muddy. Facilities are very worn out. The room has no shelving to put your belongings; this would be a great improvement. If you are on a budget, keep in mind that pretty much the only food options in the area are the restaurants at the lodge or at neighbouring accommodations, where a meal costs 1500-2000 vatu per person. The food is delicious though and there are local dishes - the paw paw curry was phenomenal.

How close the cabins are to each other… Had a big family next to us that was loud out on their deck.

De lakens zijn nogal ruw, en verduisterende gordijnen zouden een fijne toevoeging zijn in de zomermaanden.

"I absolutely loved the place! I came together with my friend with intention to relax and chill. The place was super cozy, relaxing and in a lovely calm area. When we came in november, there were still some wedding decoration left on the staircase (from the owners sons wedding the month before), and as a future bride myself I felt enchanted! "Die Wohnung hat einen schöne Einrichtung und viel Potenzial! Der Pool in der anderen Anlage, den man benutzen darf, ist wunderbar."

Der Lärm nachts von der Straße ist extrem. Die Matratze ist eine Katastrophe. Terrassen Möbel fehlen. Extrem hellhörig auch zu der Wohnung nebenan. Die Pfanne müsste dringend ersetzt werden.

"Fantastic views of the Matterhorn, plus the town of Zermatt, especially from the bedroom upstairs which means the view is wonderful to look at when you wake up in the morning! Very comfort and cosy refurbished old cabin which has real authenticity. The owners are very friendly and always helpful."

The three flights of stairs to go to the toilet during the night and carting up all our ski gear from the road below.

Le petit chemin qui mène jusqu'à l'hébergement est un peu difficile à emprunter. Surtout avec les bagages.
