"Super kind and helpful hosts (speak Spanish, English and French). Very big and well equipped rooms, hammocks and comfy seats to relax in the tropical garden, with various plants and trees... A restaurant just next door and a supermarket in short walking distance... only 15min to the airport... Very comfy bed and warm water shower... Would highly recommend this place!"

Painavien matkatavaroiden rahtaus kapeissa portaissa yläkertaan vaivalloista. Suihkussa ei laskutilaa pesuvälineille. Amme ei hyvä suihkualusta. Sisäänkäynnin sähköinen lukko piti meteliä, kun sitä käytti. Pysäköinti pihaan jyrkkää mäkeä pitkin.

"The room was great and very spacious. The homeowner is super nice and easy to talk to."

The only thing that slightly annoyed me on arrival was that there wasn’t an electrical socket right next to the bed, even though it did say that on the booking site. But that’s a small thing.

"Accomodation is very well located in the center of Bissau (really calm neighborhood as well), and the host was very helpful and responsive."

The Guesthouse Is set in the middle of the beautiful and lush nature and close to everything and also with a bus stop just across from the property..

"This was our second stay, but in the bigger villa. There is plenty of space for everyone to spread out and relax. Having everything we needed right there was super convenient. Definitely made the whole trip smoother and more enjoyable. Can't wait to come back again sometime."

"中式早餐以稀飯為主食，另有吐司果醬可以選擇，豐富配菜及紅烏龍茶飲、鮮奶，吃到飽。 民宿最棒的就是提供洗衣機、烘乾機，讓出外多天的旅人可以清洗一些髒衣服，超方便的、大推；房間面窗可看到花東縱谷美景，距離鹿野高台車程10分鐘很近，地點絕佳，民宿還免費出借腳踏車可以漫遊鹿野，可惜這次來不及使用到。 入住前最擔心的吃飯問題，民宿附近有草仔粿、紅豆餅(下午)，晚餐可以吃附近路口轉彎處的猛爸爸快炒，或到鹿野車站旁吃合菜，都不踩雷、好吃。"

Dumbea sur Mer is basically a boring suburb of McMansion houses and a shopping mall.

"Chez Fabien on n'a pas l'impression d'être des locataires, mais des amis accueillis à bas ouverts. Fabien veille à tout, à la propreté, au bien être. Il conseille sur les promenades à faire, sur les choses à faire et à voir."

Tout était vraiment parfait. Si nous devons repartir en Guyane nous savons où aller.

Eigenlijk niets, je moet voor 1000 xaf een taxi nemen om naar " centre ville" te komen....maat dat was mijn grootste " bezwaar"

"Если исходить, что это буджетный вариант и не ожидать от него условий отеля 4-5*, то это отличный вариант: в любое время заселят, в любое время можно уехать, в любое время встретят/ проводят из аэропорта, рядом с аэропортом, приятные хозяева, интернет. Останавливался на две по полночи, получилось идеально: прилетел/помылся/поспал/посмотрел город/помылся/поспал/улетел."

"Eenvoudig, maar praktisch ingericht en voorzien van alle gemakken! Prima bed (niet zo breed) Prima prijs/kwaliteit verhouding. Super vriendelijke host!"

Als ik persé iets zou moeten noemen, is het het ontbreken van een kraan en wasbak in het keukenblok. Creatief met afwassen, door vullen van de aanwezige teil met de waterkoker, die je in de badkamer met een kommetje moet vullen, omdat hij niet onder de kraan past 😁 Maar goed, ik vond het zelf gewoon prima zo.

"De gastvrijheid en "lokale" belevenis was grandioos! Erg genoten tijdens ons verblijf! Mochten we IJsland weer bezoeken dan zou ik er zeker weer een overnachting boeken! 👌🏼"

"The property is in a great location, close to all different kinds of food and walkable to the waterfront. Everything is very clean, quiet and comfortable. The host is lovely and friendly, making us feel very welcome. Facilities are great, and there is a washing machine you can use free of charge. Aircon works well."

The shower is cold, but it’s manageable because it’s so hot.

"Absolutely lovely host, allowed me to check in a bit earlier. Fair way from the city centre but easily connected with trams and buses which wasnt a problem. There was a shopping centre not too far away. Was very comfortable and clean and was able to sleep very well. Not too hot, not too cold. Also has a kitchen."

Honestly nothing to complain about. Entrance is in the alley way and up a spiral staircase.

Not really any downside about the accommodation. A car is needed as you cant really walk from there into town, but there is on-site parking and taxi services.

"Vlak langs de Donauroute ligt pension Feiken. Rechtsaf, heuvel op, wat best een pittige uitdaging was voor mij op mijn stadsfiets. Het regende pijpenstelen. Meneer Feiken opende de garagedeur zodat mijn fiets binnen kon staan en mijn natte regenkleding kon ik ophangen aan een kledingrek. Er is een minibar en de kamer was ruim en schoon. Lekker op de bank Netflix gekeken. Goed geslapen op een goed, schoon bed. Geen last gehad van voorbijrijdende auto’s omdat er s’avonds en s’nachts zeer weinig verkeer is. Het ontbijt was prima, eenvoudig met een prachtig uitzicht op de Donau. Voor 45 euro was ik klaar. En dat is een mooie prijs! Je kunt het dubbele betalen voor een hotel, dat mogelijk iets moderner en luxer is. Het is maar wat je wilt."

"Het ontbijt was ongelooflijk uitgebreid met diverse huisgemaakte producten, ruime keuze in beleg en met fruit. Voor een heel schappelijke prijs. Als de andere kamer ook is verhuurd, heb je kans dat je die gasten ontmoet aan het ontbijt. Zo kun je ervaringen en tips uitwisselen. Je kunt eventueel vragen of je tegen betaling mag mee eten 's avonds. Ana is een goede kokkin! Er is goede waterdruk. Het is uitzicht is geweldig. De slaapkamer ligt op dezelfde verdieping als die van de verhuurders. In de 4 dagen dat we daar logeerden, hebben we ze niet één keer op de verdieping ontmoet. Je mag gebruik maken van de huiskamer op dezelfde verdieping. Er is een garage voor je huurauto. Heel prettig! Ana en César zijn alleraardigst en zeer behulpzaam. De communicatie gaat in het Frans. Beetje Spaans of Duits kan ook, geloof ik. En natuurlijk Portugees."

De accommodatie ligt aan de rand van Taffaral, in een wijk die nog wat ontwikkeld wordt. Veel huizen verkeren in diverse stadia van afbouw. Dat is geen hele gezellige aanblik soms, maar het is wel hoe Kaapverdië is. Je ziet het overal, dus in dat opzicht is het niet raar. Wij vonden het passend bij de hele Kaapverdië-ervaring. Dit is dus niet echt een punt waar de verhuurder zelf veel invloed op heeft. Ze zouden het graag ook anders zien.

"The apartment was clean, well-equipped, and in a great location. The Wi-Fi was reliable, and the TV worked well for relaxing in the evenings. The bed was fine and would consider returning."

Some noise from other guests at night did affect the stay a little. Still, overall a pleasant experience...

"Very personal stay. The owner is a bee keeper and I loved seeing the bees home. The bees didn't bother me or my dog at all. Close to shops and cafes."

"One of the best places we have ever stayed; we really did not want to leave. Super high quality apartment and very comfortable. Well equipped for a holiday stay (but no oven). Lovely views across the mountains and also down to the lake. Easy walk down to the lake with a nice hotel/restaurant and even a small supermarket at the bottom of the road. About another 20 minutes into the town itself, along the footpath. So great location; peaceful and quiet without the Bled town crowds and traffic."

The hot water system will drive you mad - if, like us, you were brought up not to waste water! And bring your own shower gel etc.

"Malaki and his family were great hosts! Very helpful and friendly. Sorted out lots of things for us with no fuss, even though we booked last minute and had limited planning. We had some good laughs! Good view of volcano, and hear the rumbling! Simple and authentic ni-Van accommodation."

Malaki still had a few things to finish... eg switching for solar lights and some plumbing... but we were 2nd guests, so it will be more complete for next guests
