"Locatie was perfect om Reykjavik te bezoeken. Op 200 meter heb je bushalte Klambratun waar je met buslijn 3(BSI busterminal) of 6 direct in het centrum bent. Lijn 55 brengt je naar de luchthaven. De citycard geeft je trouwens toegang tot gratis openbaar vervoer. Indien je dit niet wenst, wandel je ongeveer 15 minuten tot het centrum. De eigenaars van het guesthouse waren zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ontbijt was eenvoudig maar lekker. Voor ons is die hele poespas 's morgens niet nodig."

Het viel niet echt tegen maar het was een beetje jammer dat je gedurende de dag de koffiemachine niet kan gebruiken. Na een lange wandeling of een uitstap kan een tas koffie deugd doen.

"Great house with all the equipment you might need, including a microwave and full kitchen tools. The atmosphere was very pleasant, and the host was wonderful—funny, talkative, and always helpful. The location is excellent, close to everything we wanted to see. You can park your car right in front of the house. Clean, quiet, and comfortable. Highly recommended!"

Als je naar de stad wou moest je sowieso de auto nemen. Er is slechts één restaurantje naast het verblijf.

"Wat een warme ontvangst door de eigenaren. Het appartement is schoon, er werd nog een extra deken gebracht."

Ik vond het matras te hard, maar dat is voor iedereen verschillend natuurlijk.

Eigenlijk niets, maar als we dan iets moeten noemen dan de slaapbank (kraakt wel behoorlijk). Het gewone bed is superfijn!

You have to get used to the plane's noise. Nothing the property can do about.

Beetje verouderd, maar alles werkte en was prima in orde.

I wish I could’ve stayed longer. However I wished the shower head had more water power behind it the water ran slowly and it was hard to catch warm and hot water. I would have personally liked air conditioning, however overall it was a nice stay.

"Warm welcome from the staff, very comfortable room and home-like feeling. Designated room for smoking so we did not have to feel the smell at all. Kids loved the chess available to play."

"De locatie en de logging van het originele verblijf en het geweldige uitzicht. Het buiten leven in de tropen op een basic niveau is heerlijken Brigitte heeft ons met al onze vragen geholpen. Ik heb nog even de andere kamers en het rainbowappartment bekeken en zijn prima voor reizigers die iets meer luxe willen. Random vieux fort zijn zeer lekkere lokale stranden en eettentjes te vinden en wij kregen waardevolle tips van Brigitte. Zeker aanbevelenswaardig"

"Wij waren zoooo goed ontvangen van de gastheer en we voelden ons onmiddellijk in vakantiestemming. We kregen een drankje en moesten zelfs niet meer op zoek gaan om eten. Er werd heerlijk gekookt voor ons voor een aanvaardbare prijs. Een heel mooi stijlvolle villa met prachtige tuin. Op een goede locatie."

Er waren wel wat muggen, dus sprayen is de boodschap. Ik kan anders niks opmerken. De électriciteit viel hier ook even uit. Wat vaak gebeurd in Afrika

The toilet leaked all over the bathroom floor. It feels a bit out of town but only a short drive away.

Room didn’t look exactly how it does in the pictures, but was still nice. There were a lot of mosquitoes around though and I did get bitten in the night a lot due to no mosquito net, so make sure you wear repellent. Location is on the opposite side of bikini beach and next to the prison, but as the island is so small it’s still only a 15 minute walk away from the restaurants and main beach, however something to consider.

"Prima lokatie, naast het paleis en de avondmarkt. Maar toch heerlijk rustig. De kamers zijn schoon en erg groot. En het gebouw is een mooi, historisch pand. Het personeel is erg aardig en zeer behulpzaam. We moesten al vroeg weg naar het vliegveld en toch hebben ze in alle vroegte nog een ontbijt voor ons klaargemaakt. Dat ontbijt is overigens prima, met vers sap / smoothie, ei en fruit."

Er hangt een TV maar zoals zo vaak is de ontvangst slecht. Maar ja, wie heeft op vakantie een TV nodig 😉

"Het hotel is echt midden in het centrum, het is dan ook super fijn dat je je bagage in een bagageruimte kan leggen. Wat een top locatie midden in de stad maar wel net buiten de drukte."

The only drawback was the heater kept switching off & I had to get the staff to turn it on a few times

"It was really good value for money in the area, the breakfast was nice and filling, egg made fresh, avocado, toast, fruit, coffee and tea. The room was really nice we thought it might be cold but the blankets kept us perfect temperature. Only a 4 minute drive from the bus terminal. The man on reception kindly flagged a tuktuk down for us in the morning to the terminal."

"Heel behulpzaam personeel. Auto gratis en direct naast de deur parkeren. Hoewel het hotel een beetje gedateerd is maakt de prijs een de lokatie alles goed. En heel belangrijk: De bedden sliepen gewoon echt goed! Het ontbijt in het ernaast gelegen hotel is ook echt heerlijk! En vanaf het hotel loop je zo het centrum in of de boulevard op. En dichtbij heerlijke eetgelegenheden. Wij gebruikte het verblijf als uitvalsbasis voor troops in Galilea en de Golan. We zouden het zo weer doen."
