"Cette maison d'hôtes est charmante. J'ai été à l'aise....comme à la maison. Le jardin est paisible. J'ai apprécié le calme et le personnel qui était au petit soin. Le petit déjeuner est copieux. J'ai apprécié aussi la proposition d'un chauffeur depuis l'aéroport compris dans le tarif. Il y a un super marché à 300m bien pratique."

"De kamer is zeer schoon en het hotel ligt heel centraal in het oude centrum van zurich. Op verzoek waterkoker gekregen, heel fijn."

Er zit een tussendeur tussen twee kamers (in ieder geval in de mijne) om er familiekamers van te kunnen maken. Door deze deur hoor je echt alles van de buren. Misschien zou deze beter geïsoleerd kunnen worden. Verder is het zo schoon dat elke dag je bed afgehaald wordt en je zelf je bed opnieuw moet opmaken. Na een lange drukke dag vond ik dat niet de leukste activiteit. Het is jammer dat er geen minibar is, zeker omdat het een dependance is.

Het guesthouse ligt ver van het busstation. In Belmopan valt niets te beleven, wel in de omgeving, maar dan is een eigen auto handig . Met de bus kom je niet ver en kost te veel tijd

"It was really good value for money in the area, the breakfast was nice and filling, egg made fresh, avocado, toast, fruit, coffee and tea. The room was really nice we thought it might be cold but the blankets kept us perfect temperature. Only a 4 minute drive from the bus terminal. The man on reception kindly flagged a tuktuk down for us in the morning to the terminal."

"Keeps its promises. The owner, Mr Fadiga saved my life after the Radisson hotel had cancel my booking (and the booking of 30+ guests) without informing us of this in advance. Facing the emergency situation, Mr Fadiga kindly confirmed and ensure there would be a room available for me. He told me that Mr Manet would pick me up from the airport and all promises were kept. Mr Manet was professional, friendly and helpful from the beginning to the end. He took me everyday to the the conference I had come to attend (1 hour away) and back. He was always punctual and easy to reach. This was an excellent service. The room was very large and clean. The hot water tank, air con and TV worked perfectly."

Our booking description on the rooms & no of beds aren't the same, i have to contact the owner to get me another xtra beds. Also, 1 of the unit we gotten a rocking bed frame.

"We hadden 2 nette, schone, ruime kamers met airco én fan en muskietennet. Ruime badkamer met aparte wc en douche cel met heerlijke warm water en goede straal. Ook een overdekt zitje buiten voor de kamer. Wel veel muggen. Niet gehorig! Vriendelijke eigenaar. Guesthouse zit midden in Hikkaduwa, vlakbij de zee en winkels en restaurants. Een echte aanrader."

"Ontzettend mooi en charmant hotel. Wij verbleven in een kamer voor 3 personen met aangrenzend een badkamer. De kamer was zeer ruim met comfortabele bedden. Het hotel heeft een zwembad op de binnenpatio (kan wellicht wat lawaaierig zijn voor de kamers die hieraan grenzen) en een dakterras. Ontbijt was inbegrepen!"

Onze badkamer had geen douchescherm of -gordijn dus de vloer werd nogal nat en daardoor glad, maar dat kan zo verholpen worden.

"Alles ziet er prachtig uit, het ontbijt is zeer uitgebreid en ook het 3 gangen diner was heerlijk!! Onze bungalow was stijlvol ingericht en had alles wat we nodig hadden. Het kleine bad naast de bungalow was heerlijk om in af te koelen na een lange dag aan het strand. Solange en haar personeel zijn zeer behulpzaam. We mochten zelfs langer in onze bungalow blijven omdat we een late vlucht hadden en zo nog even konden douchen. Wij raden Les Hibiscus zeker aan!!"

"Heerlijk ruim appartement met zitje buiten. Het bed was fantastisch en lekker groot. De hostess heeft ons zo gastvrij ontvangen. En ons verteld over Aruba. En een taxi geregeld! Heel tof !"

Accommodatie is helemaal prima maar lekker buiten zitten kon ik niet vanwege de muggen.

"If you're looking for a quiet place, Villa Serenity by the Water is where you need to go... and yet, it's just a throw of stone away from shops and busy places... as for the breakfast, I must say I've enjoyed the sweetest omelette ever, accompanied with a selection of fruits/yoghurt/toasts... exactly what I needed to start my next journey on the right foot !!!... apart from that, rooms are large, very well quiped and nicely decorated... making your stay real enjoyable !"

I found it a little difficult to adjust temperature in the shower as it is a sophisticated model with thermostat... but had I stayed longer, I would have asked for advice and I'm sure I would have mastered the issue !

De kamers zijn niet zo groot, maar prima te doen

"The property was super quiet, the bed is like a literal cloud, a fridge perfect to fill your drinks, complimentary tea and coffee. Not too forget the amazing pool."

"Amazing location right on the beach, quiet surroundings yet not too far away from shops, restaurants and the city center. The house was spacious and clean with A.C., a fan and a fully equipped kitchen with fridge. Mr. Dagobert was very kind and welcoming, he also picked us up from the station. Thank you, it was a really nice stay!"

Keep in mind the accomodation is very basic and I think some renovations could be done, for instance our room didn’t have mosquito nets.

"Kathy is zeer vriendelijk & behulpzaam en zal helpen waar dat nodig is. Alles is ook zeer proper. We zouden dit verblijf zeker opnieuw boeken als we nog eens naar Santo gaan."

Het is ver van het centrum van Luganville maar met een taxi of de lokale bus ben je er meteen. Laat dit je dus zeker niet afschrikken.

"Great location by the sea and near the harbour. Nice, old-fashioned interior decoration, mirroring the age of some of the buildings. Very friendly staff who let us keep our freezer packs in their freezer. We went kayaking for one night, could leave our car at their parking lot, and when we came back we could use their facilities to get a fresh water shower."

"Bij aankomst in het hotel had ik flink de griep. Ik werd heel erg fijn opgevangen door de waardin die me bij stond met kruidenthee en zorgzaamheid. Ik ben haar voor altijd dankbaar."

"Prima lokatie, naast het paleis en de avondmarkt. Maar toch heerlijk rustig. De kamers zijn schoon en erg groot. En het gebouw is een mooi, historisch pand. Het personeel is erg aardig en zeer behulpzaam. We moesten al vroeg weg naar het vliegveld en toch hebben ze in alle vroegte nog een ontbijt voor ons klaargemaakt. Dat ontbijt is overigens prima, met vers sap / smoothie, ei en fruit."

Er hangt een TV maar zoals zo vaak is de ontvangst slecht. Maar ja, wie heeft op vakantie een TV nodig 😉
