"Great location by the sea and near the harbour. Nice, old-fashioned interior decoration, mirroring the age of some of the buildings. Very friendly staff who let us keep our freezer packs in their freezer. We went kayaking for one night, could leave our car at their parking lot, and when we came back we could use their facilities to get a fresh water shower."

"Zooo dichtbij de zee!!! Je slaapt eigenlijk op het strand. We hadden een suite met uitzicht op zee. Daar zijn er vier van: de twee op de hoek hebben naast een groot tweepersoonsbed ook een derde (eenpersoons)bed. Voor ons ideaal, want we reisden met twee volwassenen en een kind. De afstand van je bed tot de zee is 10meter. Geweldig. Prima service. Bij ons was een kleine lekkage: direct deskundig verholpen. Heerlijk ontbijt in het restaurant dat ook op het strand zit."

"Echt een paradijsje! Super schoon, fantastisch uitzicht en prima douche. Via een trappetje ben je zo op het strand en je ziet de zonsondergang vanuit de hangmat op het terras. De gastheer doet alles om je te helpen. We hebben genoten!"

Intermittent electricity due to poor infrastructure in Mount Hagen. The room is outside off a veranda so when it rains and the wind blows you might also get wet when going inside to use the toilet. I would have preferred a firmer mattress and slightly larger room.

Our booking description on the rooms & no of beds aren't the same, i have to contact the owner to get me another xtra beds. Also, 1 of the unit we gotten a rocking bed frame.

"Wij waren zoooo goed ontvangen van de gastheer en we voelden ons onmiddellijk in vakantiestemming. We kregen een drankje en moesten zelfs niet meer op zoek gaan om eten. Er werd heerlijk gekookt voor ons voor een aanvaardbare prijs. Een heel mooi stijlvolle villa met prachtige tuin. Op een goede locatie."

Er waren wel wat muggen, dus sprayen is de boodschap. Ik kan anders niks opmerken. De électriciteit viel hier ook even uit. Wat vaak gebeurd in Afrika

"It was really good value for money in the area, the breakfast was nice and filling, egg made fresh, avocado, toast, fruit, coffee and tea. The room was really nice we thought it might be cold but the blankets kept us perfect temperature. Only a 4 minute drive from the bus terminal. The man on reception kindly flagged a tuktuk down for us in the morning to the terminal."

Er is geen bar meer aanwezig en geen bar of winkeltje in de omliggende straten. Misschien thee of koffie voorzien op de kamer?

"Awesome hosts Vladimir and Alexander....they picked us from the airport...I forgot my universal adapter, they provided their own...home-cooked breakfast by the hosts....awesome...will stay there again, if I am at Almaty again..."

"If you're looking for a quiet place, Villa Serenity by the Water is where you need to go... and yet, it's just a throw of stone away from shops and busy places... as for the breakfast, I must say I've enjoyed the sweetest omelette ever, accompanied with a selection of fruits/yoghurt/toasts... exactly what I needed to start my next journey on the right foot !!!... apart from that, rooms are large, very well quiped and nicely decorated... making your stay real enjoyable !"

I found it a little difficult to adjust temperature in the shower as it is a sophisticated model with thermostat... but had I stayed longer, I would have asked for advice and I'm sure I would have mastered the issue !

"Located in a quiet, idyllic location near the town center, it felt like a little retreat every time we returned home. It’s a spacious house which keeps cool due to the tiling and multiple doors you can open. We didn’t need air con in September. We could close the gates so the dogs couldn’t get in, this allowed the kids to play outside. The three year old was so excited to have swings. After time in the outer islands we really needed to freshen up, so the showers and washing machine were helpful. There was good amounts of drying space, the kitchen was fully functional, and we were given our space to enjoy our holiday."

Tonga is super basic so expectations of any accomodation need to keep this in mind.

"Het hotel is echt midden in het centrum, het is dan ook super fijn dat je je bagage in een bagageruimte kan leggen. Wat een top locatie midden in de stad maar wel net buiten de drukte."

"absolutely top ', nice and kind is the owner. We were absolutely excited by breakfast - everything was fresh and homemade and we got the stories about all products which were used. We loved it and we will come with pleasure again. We can only recommended. and like a bonus, we can stay with our small dog, what was the first time in the existence of this hotel. Thank you again. Lenka with family."

De stroom werd overdag soms uit gezet waardoor er geen warm water was en telefoons niet opgeladen konden worden

"Lovely jamaican couple running a little Guest House just 5 min away from the beach. The highlight of the stay was the pool and the served food for dinner. I highly recommend eating at the Guest House! The rooms were spacious and nicely temperature thanks to the well working AC. If you looking for a nice and peaceful place to stay close to kokrobite, don't miss out on that one!"

"This is a family recreational resort with some dorms. Mine was inside the main building near the inside pool and table tennis area. The showers and two toilets are those used by the pool guests. I was fortunate to have only one female dorm mate. There are lockers outside in the hallway and you are given a room key. The manager kindly lent me sheets. I liked the location in the woods not far from the pedestrian street."

The kitchen could use some new utensils. There were no cups or glasses, just some plastic cups.

"Heel behulpzaam personeel. Auto gratis en direct naast de deur parkeren. Hoewel het hotel een beetje gedateerd is maakt de prijs een de lokatie alles goed. En heel belangrijk: De bedden sliepen gewoon echt goed! Het ontbijt in het ernaast gelegen hotel is ook echt heerlijk! En vanaf het hotel loop je zo het centrum in of de boulevard op. En dichtbij heerlijke eetgelegenheden. Wij gebruikte het verblijf als uitvalsbasis voor troops in Galilea en de Golan. We zouden het zo weer doen."

Het guesthouse ligt ver van het busstation. In Belmopan valt niets te beleven, wel in de omgeving, maar dan is een eigen auto handig . Met de bus kom je niet ver en kost te veel tijd
