"Castillo Oasis is in de eerste plaats bijzonder van opzet en zeer fraai gebouwd, waardoor een sfeer van verblijf in het groen wordt geschapen. De ontvangst en het contact met de eigenaresse was buitengewoon hartelijk en gezellig. De huiselijke sfeer wordt voor ons versterkt door de aanwezigheid van de katten en honden van de eigenaresse. Ook de kamer en het externe zitje bij de kamer waren ruim en smaakvol van opzet."

"Het sanitair, met name het toilet, kan wel wat onderhoud gebruiken. Af en toe werd een airco en/of een koelkast wel gemist, omdat het gebouw de warmte lang vasthoudt. En omdat er in de direct omgeving 's morgens vroeg geen koffie te verkrijgen is, zou een koffieapparaat welkom zijn."

"Great stay at Castillo Oasis. The host was exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout my stay and provided a second towel immediately on request. The place was very clean and well maintained. I especially appreciated the peaceful atmosphere, the hammocks, and the free drinking water. Having access to a fridge was also very convenient. The location is great and it is easy to reach the beach and nearby cafés. Overall a very comfortable, friendly and relaxing place to stay in Zipolite. I would definitely recommend it."

"Beautiful house and rooms, truly a tropical oasis. A few steps from the beach, but quiet and peaceful, and cool under the palm thatch roof. I loved reading or just lazing in my hammock on the terrace and hearing the hens scratching about next door. There are various restaurants and bars close by, and the centre of Zipolite is a short walk away along the beach. Corinna was super helpful and it was a pleasure to meet her."

"Castillo Oasis is a lovingly custom built "castle" created with architectural elements of the area (such as thatch roofs and wooden terraces). There are nice details all over the place, such as gemstone or sea shells in the walls. The whole place creates a super relaxed atmosphere. The beach is just a 2min walk away and you have restaurants and a small shop right outside the door. The noise level was OK, no loud bars or anything that kept us up at night. The owner is super friendly and very eager to help with tips around your trip. She also helped us book a whale watching tour where we saw dolphins, whales and turtles. I can recommend the place and would stay there again."

"There are quite some mosquitos in the area. Thankfully the beds are equipped with good mosquito nets but somehow we didn't seal ours properly at the entrances so we got a couple of stings. Wifi was not great. It should be noted that if you want to pay with credit card you'll be charged an additional 5% - so make sure to bring enough cash to avoid the surcharge."

"The owner Corrina is lovely, so helpful and friendly and will put herself out to help you. The room was really nice, large with lots of storage space, light and airy with opening windows and fly screens. The bed had a large mosquito net and there was seating and hammocks outside. The WiFi was good and there is even a fridge for guests use. The animals who live there are a delight. Everywhere is kept very clean. You are just steps away from the beach, shops and restaurants. Water pressure was good. We wanted to stay longer but she was fully booked."
