Alles beviel, maar tips. Een zonnescherm of parasol op het terras. En een paar betere zonnebedden bij het zwembad zou het nog beter maken

"Thibaud is a wonderful host. He always was very responsive to all our needs and very efficient. He arranged for a taxi and dinner to be delivered to the house when our incoming flight was delayed, and also brought bakery goods and coffee the next morning before giving a ride back to the airport to pick up the rental car. The house is in a quiet, less developed area of the island. Beds are comfortable, bathrooms roomy, and there is a large terrace with a beautiful ocean view. Facing directly west, it's a great place to watch the sun set! A small path along the water leads to a choice of two beaches in a less than 10 minute walk. Pictures on the website are a good reflection of the place."

Unfortunately for us, Northern winds brought large swells to the ocean and made the nearby beaches too rough and not ideal for our 16 months grandson. We had a hard time finding the right place to go to the beach. For groceries, there is no food market at a walking distance from the house. The super U supermarket and a very good bakery are a short drive away, but morning traffic can be quite heavy after 8 am and increase the time it takes to bring back the morning croissants and baguettes! Be prepared to take your car everywhere, including to go to restaurants that serve dinner.

"The location on Grand Case beach is wonderful, especially as the unit has a walk out deck to the beach. We really loved being able to walk into town for dinner. There are so very many fantastic restaurants within walking distance. The bed was very comfortable and the bedroom very dark. I love sleeping in and my early-riser husband loved sitting on the deck in the early morning .We also liked being able to use our Netflix account. Aurelie, the manager was helpful and quick to respond on Whatsapp to questions."

There were a few things that could be improved. There were only 3 shelves and no drawers to put our clothes away and some hooks would have been nice. The lounge chairs on the deck were very uncomfortable, which detracted from what should have a highlight. Although the soundproofing within the apartment was very good, the bass-pouding noise from the beach bar down the beach was overwhelming on the weekends and not good on other days. It didn't keep us up, but definitely interfered with our outside enjoyment.

"Heerlijk ruim appartement met goede bedden en groot balkon. De badkamer en keuken waren ook goed met veel uitrusting. Extra fijn waren de strandstoelen en parasol. Ook luxe dat we konden wassen."

Eigenlijk viel er niets tegen.
