The way to get there is very adventurous. I arrived in the dark and I wasn't really sure I am at the right place because of the road. Quite scary.

First of all please do not rely on the reviews here. The most one I think are fake reviews. This is now the real situation at this so called Nature "hotel". Flies flies flies. Everywhere thousand of flies. Flies in the rooms, flies in the restaurant everywhere you will have the flies. This is an indicator about the bad hygiene in this hotel. I have booked to so called King Room with Mountain view. It sounds very friendly but the reality is totally a horror. The room is very dirty and most issue it is wet and everywhere you see mold. When you enter the room you smell the moldy air. Absolutely unhealthy enviroment. Even the bedding is moldy and wet. The floor is wet. The walls are wet. We have to use hair dryer to have a little bit dry feeling when we sleep. But we could not sleep very well. Very terrible situation. Beside the moldy enviroment the room cleanless is terrible. Everywhere died flies and their feces. Stains on bedding and hairs. The bathroom was so dirty that we have avoided to take a shower. The toilet was not cleaned. The breakfast was consist of only rice and noodle and some unfresh cakes. On the food there are a lot of flies. They have a menu but most ones are not available. So we ate some noodle but was very low quality. Now my frustration. I have paid 1.4mRP for one night. In Indonesia you can stay in a very good 4 star Hotel for this price. I have requested a refund but the owner/staff was very unfriendly and not collaborative. For 200kRP you can stay in Bromo/Tosari in every homestay which is more better than this kind. So dont rely on the pics and reviews. The guys are cheating in a high level. Please be really careful to book this hotel. I have already claimed to booking.com. Ze konden alleen Japans, maar met de vertaal app werkte dat prima.

"Waren 1hr30 te vroeg op pick up plaats (prima aangegeven door google maps) voor als je zoals wij geen 4x4 hebt. Toch direct opgehaald! Goede sunset dunebashing. Eten ok. Oryxen, schapen, drommedarissen."

Losse wc bril en geen warm water in de rudimentaire buitendouche, maar in de woestijn is dat een detail.

"Went there to paddle the river. The team on duty went out of their way to make me welcome. This is the off season so they made a special effort to do the river trip with me. Equipment was very modern and well kept. I was a bit out of practice so I felt in safe hands with my guides. Accomodation was great. The place has been built from scratch and with a lot of thought. Just what you need when doing river trips in Nepal."

"Ligging is mooi. En rustig. Het is eigenlijk een camping wat heel leuk is. Maar eind december een handjevol mensen wat het niet echt levendig maakt. Al was heel Jordanië rustig. Aangezien bijna alles leeg stond konden we heel makkelijk ‘upgraden’ van tent naar bubble. Ondanks dat je via websites niet meer kon boeken (‘uitverkocht’) Ze bleven echter wel onderhandelen. Daardoor was de prijs-kwaliteit verhouding niet echt goed, maar we vonden het een leuke ervaring."

Portable aircon is loud.

"Het is een leuke, unieke camping. De eigenaar heeft het allemaal goed geregeld waardoor je er ook in de avond goed kan eten. Ideale uitvalsbasis voor Altyn Emel."

Wij sliepen in een 3-persoonskamer; onze deur kon niet op slot en ging telkens open. De deur van onze slaapkamer kwam uit op een slaapzaal. Daar waren tijdens ons verblijf geen gasten anders was het mogelijk wat gehorig geweest?

Small points could get better maintenance in the bungalow. But was quite good.

"Back to basic. De rust, de omgeving en vooral waarderen wat we thuis hebben. Het goede werk wat Mark doet."

"This is a fantastic place. Right on the beach.. very calm and picturesque. The rooms are spacious and the kitchen and terrace are great for lounging around. The kitchen has everything you need to cook. There are great cheap cafes within an easy walking distance. The best part though are the people who run this place. Crystal and Enot are super helpful and make sure you have everything you need. Highly recommend"

Like all rural places barking dogs can be annoying, if light sleeper get earplugs..

"The property is right on the forest and beach so wonderful forest paths to discover nearby. The staff were super friendly and helpful, giving us a lift into town when we were tired after a long day of biking."

The room was a bit small for two people, with a double bed against the wall.

"We had a lovely stay, host was very helpful. Would definitely recommend. Just a few too many cats haha"

"We werden door de super aardige familie heel hartelijk welkom geheten met thee, koekjes en pinda's. De 5 ruime en schone tenten staan in een afgesloten tuin wat een veilig gevoel geeft. Het is heel rustig gelegen op een kwartier lopen van Merzouga. Er zijn 2 brandschone douches en 2 toiletten. Het ontbijt is royaal en het avondeten, redelijk van prijs, is van topkwaliteit. Een pareltje in de woestijn."

De bedden zijn wel heel erg hard, maar dat komt in Marokko wel vaker voor.
