Luxe tenten in Oeganda

"The breakfast was amazing. The hosts were very kind. The view was stunning."

The road to get to the lodge was in terrible shape.

"Tropical paradise. The resort is accessible only by boat and up against a national park with lots of lemurs. We were there for five days, four nights in a beachfront bungalow with private facilities. Sun lounges under coconut palms. Local seafood at the restaurant. Hardly any other guests. Affordable for budget travelers."

Ok, cold water showers, but hey.

"My stay at Para un poquito was wonderful, the hosts Flor and Joel are very welcoming, nice and helpful in any situation, they know and love the place. The situation right on the beach is idyllic, you literally go out of your room and are on the beach. I'd definitely recommend this place."

"Ondanks dat de camping vol was, was het er toch rustig. Heel veel faciliteiten en speel voorzieningen voor kinderen van alle leeftijden en toilet gebouw erg schoon. Ligging is prima."

Enige nadeel is dat er geen extra speel plek op de camping plaats zelf is. Dit zorgt er wel voor dat het bij de camping plaatsen rustig is, de kinderen zijn allemaal bij de speel faciliteiten, maar soms is het ook wel fijn om voor de tent een spelletje te kunnen doen (badminton bv), die ruimte is er niet.

"Uitstekende verblijfplaats om te slapen in een yurt. Zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Je kan er gratis boogschieten, tafeltennissen, sterrenkijken en er is een zwembad aanwezig. Het eten is lekker."

"Hele mooie plek aan het water. Vriendelijk personeel en een relaxte sfeer. Je pakt zelf je drankjes bij de bar en dat gaat op vertrouwen. Heerlijk ontbijt en eten!"

Het was echt prachtig! Tip: een klein koelkastje in de tent.

Being surrounded by the desert and having the freedom to walk through the dunes at any time truly makes this place special and unforgettable. The staff were exceptional in every way – always kind, attentive, and genuinely caring. They took care of everything and made us feel completely welcome and relaxed throughout our stay. The food was also outstanding – fresh, delicious, and beautifully prepared. We honestly cannot understand some of the negative comments regarding the food, as our experience was excellent in every aspect. If you are looking for tranquility, stunning desert scenery, and warm hospitality, this is the perfect place. We would return anytime!"

"Russell en Verena zijn de eigenaren en geweldige mensen waar we een heel plezierige tijd mee hebben doorgebracht. De logde is kleinschalig en de tenten zijn prima. Ligging in de bush is geweldig. Nog een groot voordeel is de kookkunst van Verena. Werkelijk fantastisch!!"
