Luxe tenten in Kenia

"Le A is situated in a magnifient garden, and you really feel lost in the place. It is very well integrated with the surroundings and calm. The accomodation is what you see on the pics and you will have what you need. The bed is comfortable and you need to do a small walk to get to shower and toilette, but that it is part of the beauty! Be aware of mosquitos! But this is normal in u are btw plants and in a garden. Sylviane will provide you with all the info you need to move around and where to buy things. If you van, rent a scooter, that will make you to be able to go around!"

Perhaps it could be a more clear the walking areas…but is part of the place :)

"Een fantastische luxe tent met veel ruimte die smaakvol is ingericht met veel steigerhout, Fatboy lamp en zitzak, een barbecue en badkamer met Omdat het in juni nog niet zo druk op de camping was, was het super rustig. Heerlijk die stilte. Uitzicht op het groen. Het terras is enorm groot. Er is een fijn zwembad op de camping. De buitenkeuken, grote eettafel en bank buiten zijn geweldig."

Wij waren met z'n tweeën en hadden meer dan genoeg ruimte, maar als je 3 kinderen in het 2e piepkleine slaapkamertje ( met 3 stapelbedden) kwijt moet, dan is het proppen. Dan kun je je koffers/ tassen niet kwijt. De WiFi was niet geweldig Het campingwinkeltje heeft niet veel te bieden.

It had to be expected but the rain falling on the tent made it hard to sleep, otherwise everything is good !

"Ondanks dat de camping vol was, was het er toch rustig. Heel veel faciliteiten en speel voorzieningen voor kinderen van alle leeftijden en toilet gebouw erg schoon. Ligging is prima."

Enige nadeel is dat er geen extra speel plek op de camping plaats zelf is. Dit zorgt er wel voor dat het bij de camping plaatsen rustig is, de kinderen zijn allemaal bij de speel faciliteiten, maar soms is het ook wel fijn om voor de tent een spelletje te kunnen doen (badminton bv), die ruimte is er niet.

The food at dinner could be much better - like simple and fresh. Our guide on game drives delivered at the end but was not inspiring or dedicated

De aangeboden safari’s zijn twee keer zo duur als de safari’s bij een ander bedrijf

"Very nice view onto the valley and the volcano. We were watching the stars and shooting stars from the very comfortable bed. Although it was cold outside, the blankets and heater keep you warm. The jacuzzi was nice as well."

The water in the jacuzzi is warm but not hot, but it wasn’t bad and totally acceptable for being in the middle of nowhere.

"Niet alleen het verblijf zelf, maar ook alle andere activiteiten overtroffen onze verwachtingen. Zo werd het eten op een hele bijzondere manier geserveerd en is de spa heel erg mooi ingericht. De locaties waar je kon eten waren ook heel erg mooi en hadden altijd iets extra's zoals een mooi vuur. Via WhatsApp was Adrian heel erg goed bereikbaar en we werden heel erg snel geholpen bij vragen. De accommodatie vraagt om hele relaxte dagen, we zaten letterlijk in onze eigen bubbel."
