Luxe tenten in Azerbeidzjan

"Great set up, breakfast, it poured with rain one night and the tent was dry as a bone. Dog loved it. Didn’t use the swimming pool but looked good for families. Good showers and communal cooking facilities."

"My son and I spent three weeks traveling around Puerto Rico and this was a wonderful addition to our trip. I love Pitahaya's focus on sustanability and eco traveling, the exclusion of single use water bottles (BRAVO) and attention to composting and recycling. This is something rarely seen on the island and greatly needed. The mattress in the tent was very comfortable and I absolutely loved showing under the stars. A great way to camp if you are unable to bring your personal camp gear or are simply looking for a more comfortable camping experience."

The main light in our tent would only last for a few seconds. We weren't aware that it was motion activated and that made it challenging to play board games and read at night.

"It is situated not so far from the Kolsai lake, the position is suitable for parking as well."

We ordered urta - the kazakh national house for living but the temperature was + 11 degrees above zero only, for south people it’s too cold for summer, thus we asked the administrator to change the place of living , she agreed but the room was only for two people not for four and the prices were different, urta costs 38.000 tg, the room- 25000, and administrator didn’t return the difference.

"Een fantastische luxe tent met veel ruimte die smaakvol is ingericht met veel steigerhout, Fatboy lamp en zitzak, een barbecue en badkamer met Omdat het in juni nog niet zo druk op de camping was, was het super rustig. Heerlijk die stilte. Uitzicht op het groen. Het terras is enorm groot. Er is een fijn zwembad op de camping. De buitenkeuken, grote eettafel en bank buiten zijn geweldig."

Wij waren met z'n tweeën en hadden meer dan genoeg ruimte, maar als je 3 kinderen in het 2e piepkleine slaapkamertje ( met 3 stapelbedden) kwijt moet, dan is het proppen. Dan kun je je koffers/ tassen niet kwijt. De WiFi was niet geweldig Het campingwinkeltje heeft niet veel te bieden.

Had a bit of unfinished look about the premises though the geodesic domes were great.

"De lokatie. De rust in het bos met de aapjes die s morgens ff checken of er iets te halen valt. De eigenaars waren erg behulpzaam. Het bed met elektrische deken was heerlijk. Ook het kunnen meehelpen met het melken en voeren van de dieren was leuk om te doen."

"Het was een erg gave ervaring. Het tentenkamp was lekker knus, het eten was lekker, de gidsen waren erg vriendelijk en de locatie was perfect."

We baalden dat wij geen Frans konden, hierdoor was het heel lastig om te communiceren met de gidsen

The proximity and the 180-degree view of the sea, the unmatched decor items, fairy lights and stellar interior planning, the very small-but-important facility and comfort details that have been considered, the quaint and romantic area around the dome, the considerate and responsive hosts all come together to make this a true gem here in Latvia. It feels like the place is kept beautiful and tidy out of genuine care for the wellbeing and pleasure of the guests. The hot tub costs extra, but a hot tub with a direct view of the sea is another rarirty here that is well worth the money. Absolutely recommended without hesitation, and I wish the hosts the endurance to keep this up, as we will 100% be looking to come back to this corner of paradise!"

To be nitpicky, the tap water seems to have high iron content, hence some water discoloration and odor. Nevertheless, there is extra drinkable water provided so this is not an issue really.

"A small cabin in the woods, crown lands around allowing you to walk or hunt, no electricity, no phone network. A wood stove and candles. What's not to like?"

The road to get there is hard if you have a sedan especially after a snow storm.

"It was a very comfortable and nice looking place and I got the value for my money. The views were amazing as well."

The staff was kind of noisy in the morning, especially by the kitchen.

"Beautiful beach location, very friendly staff, delicious food, and a peaceful atmosphere—perfect for a relaxing getaway."

"I was in Siwa with friends. This trip was exceptional, I met wonderful people. The owner, Ahmed, was an exceptionally wonderful person. He asked us every day if we needed anything."

Eigenlijk helemaal niks

"Lake Bunyonyi is ongelofelijk mooi. We hadden heel charmant rieten huisje met aan een kant grote opening (niet af te sluiten). Je keek vanaf het bed rechtstreeks naar het verbijsterende mooie meer. Ruim, groot houten terras. Heel romantisch, heel bijzonder. Personeel was super aardig en behulpzaam. Friday, de kok, kan goed koken. Je gaat naar dit guest house met de boot vanaf het vaste land. Alles is prachtig groen met vogels en bloemen."

De badkamer/wc faciliteiten zijn primitief. Omdat de rest zo mooi was, vonden we het prima, maar dat zou wel verbeterd kunnen worden. Een spiegel zou bijvoorbeeld al fijn zijn.

"Staff was amazing. Rachel went above and beyond any call of duty to have us met from a late bus, organised a park trip and had us dropped in morrogoro. Nesto made sure we were safe in the campground. Breakfast was great, more like brunch.Highly recommend the camping but for the bravehearted...loved sitting around the campfire in the early hours of the morning, listening to the sound of silence and occasionalanimal call, watching the moon sail across the sky from the net window of the tent... the sister hotel nearby has lovely rooms, at a very reasonable rate."
