"The room was very beautiful and comfortable. The food was excellent. The best we had in the Dominican Republic so far and the price is extremely reasonable. The staff was professional and friendly. I would definitely go back for the food and for the comfortable room."

We had to change room as we didn’t know from the description, that it was in a shared apartment. That information should be clear on booking.

"hele aardige host, Victor. Hij heeft mij opgewacht met zn auto toen ik verkleerd was gereden. En hij heeft in de avond voor mij hamburgers besteld en opgehaald. En in de ochtend deelde hij zn mate met me."

de cabana was dubbel geboekt, dus ik moest in het huis slapen. Maar was ook prima uiteindelijk. Het is goed opgelost. en de douche boven deed het niet, dus ik moest steeds trap op en af.

The food. They are unprepared for people who do not eat meat. The love of salt by Basotho is above average

"It is a unique carribean cottage, which is a little gem. It is a five minute walk to a lovely beach. We cooked in as the kitchen had everything one required. We had our meal out on the verandah next to the kitchen and watched the sunset. Sabina is a wonderful hostess. When we arrived she tried to book as into a restaurant but it was full so she took us to the local supermarket to ensure we would have a good meal. Keith was also really helpful and a great guy. We wished we had booked it for longer."

De grote van het bed We sliepen goed, maar het bed had iets breder gekund.

"Absolutely beautiful peaceful serene location. We were there Oct and it was cold. It must be amazing in the summer. Some issues with check-in. I guess it was off-season, because there were no staff. We needed to call and there was a small delay getting things organised. The room is huge, aircon/heater works well. Kitchen has most things you need. Fridge, microwave, utensils, etc Ensuite bathroom is large and shower is hot. It suited us perfectly."

10am check out is a bit early. We would have liked to stay around another few hours.

Het was voor ons iets te groot, we vinden kleinschaligere locaties fijner, maar dat wisten we van te voren

"Het huisje is vrijstaand met veel ruimte eromheen, de ligging is prachtig. Er is een leuk vijvertje met grote libellen en een compostvat achterin de grote tuin. Het huis is van alle gemakken voorzien. Hoogtepunten: vuurkorf met gratis brandhout, ligstoelen onder een prieel, vrij uitzicht over groen, beekje naast het huis, aardige eigenaar."

Op de foto's zou je het niet zeggen, maar het ligt vrij dicht aan een weg waar wel regelmatig auto's rijden (meer dan we hadden verwacht). We hadden hier verder geen last van. We hadden moeite met de tv maar konden ons goed redden met het prima internet. De slaapkamer is heel klein, dus als de achterste persoon 's nachts eruit moet, zal die over de andere persoon heen moeten klimmen. Vonden wij geen probleem.

"El lugar en si es bastante placentero, sin ruido de carros, rodeado de árboles y la cabaña es una belleza, muy limpia, amplia, cómoda, con absolutamente lo necesario para pasar un fin de semana bastante relajado. La persona que nos estuvo monitoreando por teléfono, muy amable y atenta, muy servicial en todo momento. RECOMENDADISIMO"

"very good location uphill, very far from street noise. we enjoyed seaview and city lights at horizon, that fara we could see from the highest small house. we got some hammocks up there and were having fun next to the amazing nature whilst chilling on the balcony, thanks to guys who secured our stay"

"This place is simply amazing, what stands out is the attention to detail and the magical garden with pool. Highly recommend it for you nature lovers. The hosts were very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. There is plenty of parking space, a bakery and exquisite french restaurant just around the corner. Pro tip: watch your step when going to the pool, turtles are sometimes patroling the area."

"The room was incredibly comfortable and clean. It was very quiet and we felt like home. New AC, clean and well attained. The surroundings are excellent as well as the neighbourhood is peaceful and quiet. Accessibility was good. It is a little far from the city but there is a bus stop about five minutes from the property where the Airport bus stops. A rental vehicle would be recommended. We knew that and the remote location was very soothing for us."

The outside property had some very minor issues; it felt a bit barren and the pool could‘ve been better maintained. We would have liked simple room cleaning very days without having to ask for it because it made us feel a bit uncomfortable to request it. Plus, to avoid all these plastic bottles, we would have appreciated a shared water filter station at the property.
