"This experience was amazing being in nature while having a luxurious living space is a rare combination moreover we got to enjoy this wonderfull experience without any bugs this is one off the many positive sides of this compound I really recommend it especially for large groups and kids as the environment is kids friendly with emotional support animals like golden retrievers"

Erg gedateerd, douchekop was stuk maar deze werd meteen vervangen. Prijs/kwaliteit is niet goed.

"Heerlijke maaltijd (Indiaas) en prima ontbijt. Vriendelijk personeel. Kamer was prima (met balkon) en erg schoon. Hotel heeft een huiselijke sfeer."

Badkamer erg gedateerd. Voor een mindervalide was de ouderwetse douchebak een groot minpunt.

"Fijne sfeer en zeer aardig personeel. Het ligt pal aan het strand en de binnentuin is schaduwrijk en knus. Het bed heeft een klamboe en de kamer wordt niet te warm. Er is ook airco maar die hebben we niet gebruikt. Er is ook veel te zien in het wijkje, dus we hebben ons zeer vermaakt."

"I loved that it was nestled in its own private space. There are 4 lodges in the vicinity and all have their own balcony’s that you can enjoy individually. Our water pressure was great. Also the unit was nice and clean."

Nothing: We actually didn’t book the transfers cause we had another vehicle organised however that fell through. But mama let us go first to the lodge and she’d wait at the airport. Lucky she got a ride back home from the family at airport. She has an immense amount of responsibility and knowledge of the island. As a local to Rarotonga people like her are very rare to be around. I am so grateful to have had crossed paths with her. Na te Atua I tauturu iakoe e Mama Manarangi. Maroiroi koe I toou oraanga. Meitaki atupaka kiakoe no te akonoanga ia tatou.

"Prachtige plek in de natuur, het terrein straalt rust en geluk uit. Huisjes zijn lekker privé en ruim. Hosts waren zo gastvrij! Heerlijk home cooked diner gegeten en Elmir regelde nog last minute dat wij Tito’s bunker konden bezoeken. Echt heel attent van hem!"

The lodge itself was impeccably clean, and the pool area provided a perfect spot for relaxation. Additionally, the breakfast served at Top Lodge was simply delicious, and filling. Overall, I highly recommend Top Lodge for its friendly staff, cleanliness, delicious breakfast, reliable Wi-Fi, and inviting pool area."

"Absolutely beautiful peaceful serene location. We were there Oct and it was cold. It must be amazing in the summer. Some issues with check-in. I guess it was off-season, because there were no staff. We needed to call and there was a small delay getting things organised. The room is huge, aircon/heater works well. Kitchen has most things you need. Fridge, microwave, utensils, etc Ensuite bathroom is large and shower is hot. It suited us perfectly."

10am check out is a bit early. We would have liked to stay around another few hours.

1. There was no Iron in the room (it is written in the room facilities) 2. Noisy neighbours (they celebrated birthday and used equipment for loud music and jumped in the pool)

We verbleven in een chalet. De verbindingsweg tussen restaurant en chalet is pikdonker en heel hobbelig. Zaklamp is zeker nodig

"Very relaxed and relaxing - lovely staff amazing location and food. The ethos of this place is ethical, community and sustainability based and so good to support. It’s clean well run friendly and an ideal place just to be."

"Na een bezoek aan Treehouse Martinique weet je dat het Hof van Eden niet in het Midden-Oosten ligt maar op het eiland Martinique. Op het 24 hectare tellende 17e eeuwse landgoed tref je de uitzonderlijk gastvrije Christiane en Alejandro in het door hun gecreëerde paradijs met watervallen, botanische tuin en een diversiteit aan vogels en amfibieën. Zittend onder je verrande wordt je tijdens het ontbijt vergezeld door kolibries en andere vogels wat een televisie en/ of radio overbodig maakt. Zelfs hun privé woning wordt opengesteld wanneer de inductieplaat in ons appartement niet blijkt te werken. De plek om volledig tot rust te komen en te genieten van de kleurrijke bloemen en planten, maar bovenal de uitzonderlijke gastvrijheid."

Het feit dat we er slechts drie nachten verbleven.

"Beautiful place. We stayed with family in three different rooms. Beautiful views, spacious and clean rooms. The ladies that clean the hotel were very nice. We got there early, left our things in a locker and went to flamenco beach and returned to access our rooms by a door code. The room was amazing with a small kitchen with kitchen utensils, towels and beach towels. The rooms had great air conditioner and there was a constant breeze outside that we could enjoy the balcony as well. I think the room Was even more spacious than the website pictures. ☺️"

"Het onthaal was supervriendelijk met een verfrissend doekje en drankje. Het personeel staat echt voor je klaar. De 'gratis' voetbehandeling was zalig, we hebben dan natuurlijk wel een leuke fooi gegeven. De kamers zijn stunning en dicht bij. De view wanneer je aan het zwembad komt met het uitzicht op de waterhole vol wilde dieren was heel impressionant. Het avondmaal is heel verfijnd, misschien een minpuntje was de koele cleane sfeer in het restaurant. Het ontbijt was ook super! De kamer was top !"

"Superaardig (Engelssprekend ook) personeel, heerlijk eten. Hulde aan de kokkin! Supergoed ontbijt! Schoon. Prachtig uitzicht over de bergen en Fogo, helemaal met de zonsondergang. W-O-W. Blij met balkon."

De kamer was op de 2e dag schoongemaakt en het bed weer opnieuw opgemaakt. Met het oog op privacy, had dit van ons niet gehoeven maar misschien zijn anderen er juist wel blij mee. Zet even een nieuw klein raampje in de badkamerdeur; dan ziet het er weer mooi uit :)

Het eten en drinken. Er was veel niet aanwezig van wat er op de kaart stond. Zowel van het eten als het drinken. Dat mag niet mogelijk zijn voor de prijs die je betaalt.

"The surround was lovely and very peaceful. Myself and the entire family sleep comfortably during our stay there. I would recommend to any guest about this property. It was in a safe location as well."

Het gemis van een comfortabel zitje bij de bungalow. Douchecabine is heel erg aan vervanging toe.

Ik vond het behoorlijk duur. De kleinere cottages zijn gek genoeg beter dan grote.
