"Rustig gelegen, goed bereikbaar met de auto, gratis parkeren achter het hotel op eigen terrein. Receptiepersoneel is timide, kalm, en spreekt goed Engels. Ramen kunnen open, koelkastje op de kamer. Kamers zijn ruim. Douche is heerlijk. Alles is schoon en netjes. Gratis mineraalwater op de gang te tappen in de aanwezige glazen kan die op de kamer staat zodat je de hele avond vooruit kan met je drinkwater. Beneden een kleine voorraad gekoeld bier/frisdrank die je kunt kopen tegen 3x de supermarktprijs, wat beter is dan niets."

Het personeel maakt zelf ook gebruik van het ontbijt buffet, alhoewel dat niet fout is, is wel een beetje gek dat je met het personeel van het hotel in dezelfde ruimte aan het eten bent. Soms pakken ze wat en nemen ze dat mee naar de keuken om op te eten. Het is gewoon een beetje raar, ik zie dat een Nederlands Hotel zoal Van Der Valk niet zomaar gebeuren. Zij hebben onderling overigens dan ook flink gesprek, en jij eet dan onder genot van Estlands geroezemoes je eten op. Het is weer eens wat anders dan complete stilte. Nogmaals, niets fout, maar gewoon even anders dan normaal.

"Het personeel was super vriendelijke en stond altijd voor je klaar. Elke dag werd er schoongemaakt en bij het schoonmaken deze ook de afwas voor je."

Zwembad stelt niks voor, je moet eigenlijk wel elke dag naar het strand gaan of een ander zwembad opzoeken

"The staff was courteous and helpful. Location is good, at the sea side. Very well presentation of food dishes and good breakfast. Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable."

Lot of stairs to bring down the luggage and carry it back. The train track adjoining the hotel is very annoying and extremely noisy when the train passes through.

"Mohammad was quite helpful. The sizes were quite small but did meet the purpose. A little over priced TBH but was OK."

Be aware of the Taxes and VAT as the displayed prices are not inclusive of them.

The room have unpleasant smell from the toilet initially. But overall room was clean and seems to be maintained well.

"The people from the front desk are amazing, really helpful. They gave us towels for the beach, and beach chairs. They made our stay way better, including after checkout. The hotel has an almost private beach where they also gave us a beach umbrella, it was a paradise, all for us (we even saw manta rays). The location is perfect. Not far from the ferry, not far to nice beaches, not far from places to eat. The hotel is clean, nice rooms, nice bathrooms, they gave us complimentary waters and coffee in the room. Also, the hotel has a bar and a restaurant. At night it solved us having there something to eat having been all day out."

Everything in Turks and Caicos is expensive, and in North/Middle Caicos even more (that’s not the hotel). The restaurant of the hotel was good but expensive. It is a good alternative, even more if you don’t want to grab the car again, but I would check the prices before seating to see if they are ok for you.

"Bijzonder vriendelijke host, erg behulpzaam en gastvrij. Fijn dat de accomodatie een eigen parkeerplaats heeft. Gratis koffie en thee is ook heerlijk. En de bedden sliepen fantastisch. Alleen de badkamer zou gemoderniseerd mogen worden."

"I loved it at the Holiday Inn. Very warm and welcoming staff. The facilities were clean comfortable."

The location is a bit isolated. Would be nice if there was as strip mall or something in the area to go buy stuff.

"Het meest beviel ons de rust en hygiëne. We aten ontbijt en diner in het hotel. Vantevoren konden we aangeven hoe laat we het wilden hebben en wat we wilden eten. De kok luisterde goed naar onze wensen. Verder is het personeel zeer behulpzaam en helpt wanneer nodig."

Eigenlijk viel niets echt tegen. Omdat het een nieuwe lokatie is, merk je dat de medewerkers nog wat onwennig zijn en moet je pro-actief zijn. Zo hadden we handdoeken en een kopje voor 1 persoon op de kamer terwijl we met zijn tweeën waren. Als je erom vraagt zorgen ze snel dat het wordt opgelost. Als je TV wil kijken, houd er rekening mee dat je alleen YouTube video's kunt bekijken 😀 De lokatie is gelegen op een zeer stil punt in Zomba en heeft geen buitenterras, dat zou nog wel fijn zijn. En, zoals je wel vaker tegenkomt in Malawi, het weggetje ernaartoe is een zandpad met stenen en kuilen, dus houd daar rekening mee.

"The location is what I loved the most. The restaurant woodlands was also nice. The fruit and cookies were much appreciated."

The size of the room was a little cramped.

"Prima hotel, perfecte locatie midden in het centrum. Helaas geen bar of bemande receptie, dat maakt het een beetje kaal en ongezellig. Maar er zit een goed café/restaurant naast."

Toch wel een beetje aan de prijs voor redelijk eenvoudig hotel

"Het is een leuk hotel met heel vriendelijk personeel en lekker ontbijt. Het is jammer dat er in Sant Laurent weinig te doen is. Neemt niet weg dat dit een fijn hotel is."

De omgeving. Er is weinig te doen.

"De accommodatie is heel mooi en ligt afgelegen in de natuur, waardoor je kan genieten van rust en stilte. Het uitzicht vanop de top van de heuvel waar het verblijf gelegen is, is fantastisch. Perfect om naar de prachtige zonsondergang te kijken met een glaasje erbij. Personeel was heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam."

"The family room was small, but had everything you need. The breakfast was delicious and the drink prices were reasonable. The best choice in the area. Evening village life is a separate show, unfortunately we couldn't find any entertainment nearby. And the wealthier residents instead gathered at our place of stay."

The first night we had trouble sleeping because at 3AM all the villagers started making noise (roosters, dogs, cats, turkeys, goats, sheep) but by the second and third we were already used to the village sounds.

"Dat als je vooraf de check-in goed ingevuld hebt de aankomst soepel gaat (na ontvangst check-in gegevens op de dag zelf). Heel fijn dat er een garage bij zit om enkele motors/fietsen te stallen. En ontbijt goed en kun je s ochtends pakken als je wilt omdat het al klaar staat."

Jammer dat de communicatie omtrent het inchecken vooraf niet helemaal duidelijk was.

Het hotel was redelijk rumoerig en de wifi was beneden peil.

"I's a nice, relaxing place in a beautiful natural setting. A bit above Nioumachoua and with a very nice view over the hills and coast from the room balcony. Staff was very friendly and helpful and they can inform you about possible activities as well. The room was comfortable and reasonably clean, there was an (intact) mosquito net and air con. The breakfast was included and you can order dinner as well, which was delicious."

The door handles tend to fall out and should be repaired. Some ants in the room. Some waiting time for breakfast.

"Отель новый, все как на фото и в описании, туалетные принадлежности есть (мыло, гель для душа, шампунь, зубная щетка) , имеются халаты и тапочки, чайник и чашки."

Жили на третьем этаже, лестницы очень крутые, взрослым людям будет тяжело подниматься. Завтрак был включен, ожидание было, конечно, другое, но увы, сервис оставляет желать лучшего. Утром пошли на завтрак, девушка, встретившая нас с ходу сказала, что кроме яичницы ничего нет. В итоге принесли яичницу с колбасой, на вопрос из какого мяса, ответила грубо, что не знает. На 4 человека дали один чайник чая, попросили дополнительно еще чайник, но это уже было платным. В номере не помешало бы поставить большое зеркало и светильники. Думаю, такие мелочи дали бы уют в номерах.

"The pool was necessary but a little dirty. The ac is effective and the hot water is too. You cant ask to much of hospitality businesses in this part of west africa but this place exceeded them. This place is great for overlanders"

Its definitely more of a "hang out" hotel for locals to come swim or watch football. It will probably be a little rowdy on some weekends. The staff seemed a little confused how to handle overnight guests.

We logeerden met z’n drieën in een prachtig appartement. Aan het strand kreeg iedereen een plek toegewezen, maar de parasol was veel te klein om schaduw voor drie bedden te verzorgen. Beter zou zijn de parasol formaat af te stemmen op aantal stoelen. Want de zon kan hier heel veel zijn. Een buiten douche had voor ons het verblijf completer gemaakt qua faciliteiten.

El desayuno es muy tarde. Entiendo que debería ser más temprano. Ya que a las 9 es muy tarde y no hay nada cerca para desayunar.

"Het was een prachtige ruime kamer luxe met een lekker privé zwembadje! Paar minuten lopen van het mooie strand van kamala. Naar het centrum van Kamala was toch wel een kleine 20 minuten lopen."

Dat onze kamer aan de drukke weg zat. Extreem luidruchtige motoren, zonder oordopjes kon ik niet slapen. Dus neem een kamer aan de zwembad kant.

Gehorige kamers kon alles letterlijk verstaan van de gasten naast. Badkamer gedateerd wel schoon maar een aparte geur.
