Hotels op Fiji

"I want to talk about only one topic regarding my hotel stay. I want to talk about the towels in the bathroom. The towels are very large, very white, and very thick. They wrap the body with so much love. Yes, true love. It's a real home."

"Het personeel was zeer vriendelijk, ook leuk dat er 2 Nederlandse meisjes waren aan het onthaal. Het ontbijt was heel gevarieerd en lekker. Het bed was in eerste instantie naar de harde kant voor ons, dit gemeld en ze zijn onmiddellijk met een topper en de nodige lakens gekomen om dit voor ons in orde te maken. Super Ook het de winkel die in het Hotel is kunnen wij als meerwaarde beschouwen. Er is ook een Toestel buiten de winkel waarbij je een buskaart kan aankopen voor verplaatsingen op het eiland. Het busstation is op 500m van het Hotel, er is ook een stop voor het Hotel, alsook de ferry naar Gozo en de kleinere boten naar Comino en de Blue Lagoon zijn bij het busstation."

De terrasstoelen zijn aan vernieuwing toe. Het zou fijn zijn mochten alle deuren voorzien worden van geluidsdemping, de deuren van de nabijgelegen kamers en de gang deuren maken nogal lawaai bij het dichtgaan.

"Leuk ingericht hotel, vriendelijke medewerkers, fijn bed, prima badkamer. Ook fijn dat er een wellness bij zat waar we betaalbare massages konden boeken."

Het hotel zegt 'Thai style' te zijn, maar los van 1 schilderij met een aziatische print zie je dat nergens in terug. De keuken is allesbehalve thais, de inrichting heeft ook niks aziatisch en de massages zijn prima maar zeker niet thais. De kamer is leuk ingericht maar een grote hangende stoel pal naast het bed? Die hebben wij van het plafond gehaald omdat ik anders nauwelijks uit bed kon stappen. Wat we ook een minpunt vonden: er was aangegeven dat er een sauna is (is er ook) maar die kun je alleen reserveren tegen (forse) betaling voor 3 uur. Als gast kun je dus niet 'even' een uurtje de sauna in, maar betaal je ca 60 euro, wat uit verhouding is met de andere kosten. Parkeren was ook niet makkelijk. Er zijn plekken bij het hotel, maar die waren alle dagen dag wij er waren (4 nachten) constant bezet, dus huurauto moest ergens aan de weg gezet worden en ook dat was elke keer een zoektocht. Personeel is supervriendelijk, maar op een enkeling na spreken ze slecht of geen Engels. Geen drama, wel wat lastig af en toe. Totale gevoel bij het hotel was zeker goed, maar er is ook nog ruimte voor verbetering ;-)

"Zeer mooie ligging met prachtig uitzicht. De kamer was schoon en het eten was lekker. Bovendien waren de uitv=baters erg vriendelijk. Vanuit hier hebben we een mooie wandeling langs het kasteel gemaakt."

De kussen waren groot en slap.

"Goede ligging, district 1, of Saigon Ward. Vriendelijke mensen, behulpzaam."

Het hotel is langzaam wat gedateerd, wat meer kapot, kit, moeilijker schoon te houden. Rest is oké, eten enzo. Prima, maar kamer en sanitair is versleten.

"De locatie was geweldig aan het mooie strand en de (bad)kamer was giga groot en helemaal nieuw. Personeel maakte er ‘s avonds een feestje van. Bij de receptie moeten ze nog een beetje leren lachen."

Het hotel ernaast had veel muziek tot 23:00 uur. En het het diner was een buffet. Dit was oké maar voor deze prijs verwacht iets hoger niveau.

"Voor wat we verwacht hadden was het helemaal goed. Iets duur maar het ligt middenin Male en daarom erg leuk!"

Eten en drinken was wat duur ten opzichte van lokale prijzen naast de deur.

"Aan Grace Bay Beach. Dicht bij de grace bay road strip."

"Our NGO had a conference in the hotel. the staff was excellent in preparing the conference room and addressing out needs. The conference catered food was excellent. I stayed in the hotel for 2 weeks and had breakfast every day. After the first 2 days, I realized that one could order eggs or omelet. Which was fine but why didn't they tell me at the beginning? Fruit selection was good. Coffee was also good. the wam milk for coffee was frequently empty but refilled on request."

De inrichting is wat gedateerd.

"Schone, ruime kamers, vriendelijk en hulpvaardig personeel, mooi modern hotel, met mooi zwembad , toilet ruimtes bij het zwembad super schoon, biergarten gezellig, ontbijt goed. Als wij op door reis zijn gaan we hier altijd heen voor 1 of 2 nachten maar zou hier prima langer kunnen blijven. De buurt is centraal en met de uber ben je overal dichtbij."

The lighting in the room could have been better.

I think the beds need to upgrade, comparing with other hotels where I recent stayed.

Not enough equipment to use kitchen. Had to ask for glasses. lower floor quite noisy from the bar downstairs. Also had to ask for a quilt as there was only a sheet on the bed and we were cold.

There is no wardrobe in the room and no hand tissue was provided. The price was very expensive for the room No shuttle to pick up from the airport

"Beautiful room room with view on the pool and the ocean. All comfort included, the free shuttle to the city center or to the airport is very valuable, the staff was very kind and professional ! Would definitely come back :)"

"Fantische ligging, je kan overal heen lopen. Ontzettend mooi dakterras waar het ontbijt is en mooi uitzicht over de Bosporus. Mooie kamers, goed personeel. Perfect!"

"Stayed in the deluxe Junior Suite. They have renovated the place and now rooms look nice. We were leaving early and they packed us quite a good breakfast. Staff were friendly and responsive."

Very small rooms, food options r limited and very expensive, exchange rate at reception is very poor, toiletries in room is very limited, not easy to find a taxi, no mini markets/shops around.

"All in all the service provided by the hotel during my 3 night stay was amazing. All the services requires are available and event it is more convenient with the additional hospitality provided by our host of the meeting PNG Customs."

The only challenge I encounter which requires some improvement is the internet connectivity especially the WFI coverage and connectivity which at times it is very weak while in the room. Otherwise everything else provided by the hotel is exceptionally outstanding.

"Vooral als je wilt reizen met de bus, bijvoorbeeld naar het noorden, naar de Victoria Falls, dan is dit een ideale plek. Het hotel ligt aan het busstation, waar alle bussen hun halteplaats hebben. De bestemming staat aangegeven bij de halte en als de bus vol is vertrekt deze. Het hotel is prima."

"The staff and managers were very kind and polite. The rooms and lobby is very clean. The WiFi was full free, but sometimes in some pleases signal was weak. The 24 hours drinking coffee , tea, cakes in lobby if very fantastic. U can use them free during 24 hours."

The lobby doesn't have any view to out ( I mean avenue and street ).
